Great variety of loose tea at reasonable prices, the afternoon tea on offer looks excellent too

😱 I did not know what to expect. I was totally blown away. The tea was exquisite. The atmosphere is ethereal. The service is exceptional. The experience is divine. I’m so thankful we discovered this absolute jewel. Totally amazing!

Fantastic tea house, the selection is huge, and the quality is really high. Nice location, charming atmosphere. Will recommend as a must visit if your in Bordeaux during a rainy day.

You simply cannot believe where you got yourself into. It's like an enchanted place. The decor inside this tea house is at the same time chic, cosy, inviting to explore and see the details in every corner of the space. The feeling being there is timeless bliss. Combine this with nice company and a hot pot of tea and you never wanna leave. The scones were extremely delicious! The two girls - behind the counter and the waitress were super friendly, even though we don't speak French. Definitely going back there.

I can't imagine Bordeaux with out this tea shop. Its in my opinion a spot of joy in the city that you can go to and watch the time pass. The in house baked goods and always stunning and the choice of tea will have you spend hours in the store. I come here all the time

Such a great place. Very cozy and very nice selection of teas with a charming wait staff. I love the Kigali, which also happens to be caffeine free.

I've been living in Bordeaux for a few years now, and there's rarely a week where I don't go to La Diplomate. I've tested almost everything they serve, and it's all delicious. It's the best tea and iced tea in town, the chocolate and coffee are wonderful, the homemade pastries are superb. And on top of this, a sweet staff and a elegant and cozy place. A must stop.

Wonderful ambiance, helpful stuff, and wide selection of teas. No cell connection inside, so can’t use it as a meeting point unfortunately :)

One of the best tea shops I’ve ever found. Lovely ambiance in the street and full bodied teas with a great selection of flavours (try the Vladivostok). A little expensive but worth it!

My favorite tea salon in the city, with great tea and a lovely artsy-retro atmosphere. Try the fig oolong tea if you don't know what to choose - and the scones are yummy too. Gets crowded in the afternoons, though.

Simply the best tea house that I have been to! Very cozy and ambient atmosphere makes you wanting to dwell in this serene state of mind! Staff is very friendly towards all foreigners and happy to have a small chit-chat. I just came from Africa to meet my mom in France and this was THE Place!

Fancy, intimate - hidden gem in Bordeaux! Definitely recommend going here..our waitress was extremely nice and very quick. We had the tea and scones. The scone is served with banana sauce with Madagascar vanilla and some cream/jam. The ambiance is exactly what we wanted on a rainy evening when visiting Bordeaux!!
