I
recently
had
the
unfortunate
experience
of
visiting
the
Clinique
du
Parc
Imperial
emergency
room
on
a
late
night
at
1
am.
I
was
in
excruciating
pain
and
desperately
seeking
help,
but
my
encounter
with
the
reception
staff
left
me
utterly
disappointed
and
frustrated.
From
the
moment
I
arrived,
it
was
clear
that
the
clinic
was
understaffed
and
ill-prepared
to
handle
emergencies.
The
waiting
room
was
packed
with
patients,
and
there
seemed
to
be
a
general
sense
of
chaos.
Despite
the
overwhelming
number
of
people
in
pain,
the
receptionist
appeared
indifferent
and
lacked
any
empathy
towards
the
situation.
The
first
issue
arose
when
the
receptionist
bombarded
me
with
a
barrage
of
unnecessary
questions.
I
understand
the
importance
of
gathering
patient
information,
but
in
the
context
of
an
emergency,
one
would
expect
more
urgency
and
compassion.
Instead,
I
was
asked
mundane
details,
such
as
my
address
and
phone
number,
before
even
being
allowed
to
sit
down.
The
lack
of
promptness
and
the
seemingly
endless
wait
time
added
to
my
distress.
I
could
see
other
patients
in
discomfort
and
frustration,
making
the
already
tense
atmosphere
even
more
unbearable.
Moreover,
there
was
little
communication
from
the
staff
about
the
estimated
waiting
time
or
the
triage
process.
When
I
finally
saw
a
healthcare
professional,
I
had
expected
a
more
thorough
and
attentive
evaluation.
However,
I
was
met
with
a
rushed
examination
that
barely
addressed
my
concerns.
It
felt
like
I
was
treated
as
just
another
number
in
the
queue,
rather
than
a
person
in
pain
seeking
help.
To
make
matters
worse,
the
clinic
lacked
proper
facilities
and
amenities
for
patients.
The
waiting
area
was
cramped,
unclean,
and
had
limited
seating
options,
which
only
exacerbated
the
stress
of
the
situation.
In
such
a
critical
environment,
I
had
hoped
for
a
team
of
healthcare
professionals
who
would
prioritize
patient
care
and
demonstrate
empathy
towards
those
in
distress.
Unfortunately,
my
experience
at
the
Clinique
du
Parc
Imperial
emergency
room
proved
otherwise.
I
urge
the
clinic
management
to
address
these
shortcomings
promptly
and
take
measures
to
improve
their
emergency
care
services.
Patients
in
distress
deserve
prompt
and
compassionate
attention,
especially
during
late-night
emergencies.
As
it
stands,
I
cannot
recommend
this
clinic
to
anyone
seeking
immediate
medical
assistance.
I
sincerely
hope
that
my
review
serves
as
a
wake-up
call
for
the
clinic
to
reevaluate
its
practices
and
implement
changes
that
prioritize
patient
well-being
over
bureaucratic
procedures.
Emergency
healthcare
should
never
be
compromised,
and
it
is
crucial
for
this
clinic
to
step
up
its
efforts
in
providing
the
care
its
patients
deserve.
EDIT:
I
just
want
to
let
you
know.
that
you
are
not
the
only
private
establishment
with
emergency
service,
I
found
a
better
one
5
km
away.!
