Our
Nico
Excursion
was
very
enjoyable,
good
value
for
money
and
we
would
highly
recommend
it.
Captain
Felix
delivered
the
tour
in
French
and
English,
his
English
was
great
and
really
easy
to
understand.
He
is
obviously
very
passionate
about
the
reserve
area,
sharing
with
us
lots
of
information
about
the
flora
and
fauna.
He
also
talked
about
the
history
of
the
landscape,
and
instilled
the
values
of
protecting
it
for
the
future.
The
snorkelling
spots
were
absolutely
beautiful,
with
many
fish
and
creatures
easily
spotted.
The
included
snorkelling
kit
was
quite
basic,
so
bring
your
own
if
you
have
it.
There
were
dry
storage
areas
on
the
boat,
although
not
many
chances
to
access
it
as
it
was
under
the
seats.
Some
of
the
travelling
between
spots
was
done
at
high
speed,
where
there
was
a
lot
of
splashing,
so
I
would
keep
any
non
waterproof
cameras
or
phones
either
in
waterproof
bags
or
in
the
storage
area.
For
the
protection
of
the
coral
reef,
suncream
is
not
allowed
to
be
reapplied
until
all
snorkelling
is
finished.
I
expect
coral
safe
suncream
would
be
ok,
and
really
should
be
worn
anyway
when
swimming
near
the
coral.
The
trip
ended
in
the
mangroves
with
a
delightful
glass
of
'planteur',
a
rhum
and
juice
based
cocktail.
Irene
who
managed
the
bookings
had
good
English
communication
by
email,
we
were
able
to
book
and
make
payment.
I
did
have
to
call
my
bank
to
let
the
payment
go
through,
as
it
was
using
the
'SumUp'
service
which
my
bank
had
restricted
for
fraud
protection.
Irene
was
kind
enough
to
recommend
some
local
restaurants
in
Sainte-Rose
to
eat
at
after
our
trip.
