We booked le Domaine de Canaille for our wedding over two years ago and due to Covid had to postpone by a year. From the very beginning Marie was the most gracious, accommodating host who helped us navigate the postponement with no stress at all. We finally were able to celebrate our wedding several weeks ago and had the MOST incredible experience. Our families stayed in the domaine for the wedding weekend and couldn’t have been more comfortable and felt so taken care of by Marie and her amazing staff, who were never in the way but were available to help with just about anything. The private chef they work with, Jeremy, prepared such fresh, delicious meals for us (would highly recommend if staying with a large group). When it came to the wedding itself Marie was very flexible with working in our vendors and so responsive 24-7. Our guests were wowed by how stunning the venue was and loved taking photos with the view, and enjoyed the pool after the wedding. And my husband and I have only the best memories of our wedding, due in large part to the incredible backdrop of the Domaine. We will be back for our anniversary one day!!

We have booked the Domaine de Canaille with very short notice for a special car shooting. The perfect place to do it on the terrace. Easy acces, stunning view. And the best: our VIP guests were able to experience the healthy, super food, which were prepared by Sophia and Jeremy. They also loved the cosy, familia atmosphere in the house. So besides their professional job, they have had a wonderful time. We all loved it! Also to be mentioned: really spontaneously booked and Marie has still managed to organize all!! Merci Marie!

We had our small wedding at Domaine de Canaille this September and it could not have been a place more special for a weekend of love and joy! This property is perfect not only for the killer views, but down to every little detail in the house. It has been decorated with great taste, that fits the Cassis vibe. Marie is the most wonderful and helpful host. Also, the house chef and his staff exceeded our expectations and served us with amazing meals, live cooking and such friendly service. We are looking forward to returning to Domaine de Canaille some day and until then we'll keep dreaming about our magical days there! Thank you with all our hearts.

This property is just extraordinary! And Marie, the owner and host, was incredibly gracious and generous. She helped make our stay feel restful and fun. We loved the house, which comfortably slept 13 of us, and greatly enjoyed the stunning view of the Mediterranean from nearly every room. Our meals around their big dining room table were scrumptious. Our morning hikes down to the sea were dreamy. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the pool and sitting at the meditation landing. We had fun on the boat visiting the Calanques. We had the most perfect and magical week with 21 friends and family at La Domaine de Canaille. Nothing prepared us for how stunning the house and the location would be - the photos literally do not do it justice! Marie, the owner , could not have been more helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be. She stayed in contact throughout the week and nothing was too much trouble. The house is huge, immaculate and beautifully furnished. The heated pool is a delight and the grounds are vast with plenty of space to find a peaceful spot. A massive thank you to Jeremy, the very talented chef, who wowed us with his delicious food every single night. We have just got home from a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. As all the other reviews state, the house is perfection! The view is unmatched and the location excellent. Marie and Pierre were incredibly kind and brilliant during our stay and Jeremy, our chef, was outstanding. The food was delicious. We were a family of 14 with ages from 8 months to 78 and were all catered for brilliantly. Thanks to the team and Marie the owner for giving us such a relaxing and spoiling week. We hope to be back.

This is one of the best finds in Cassis by far. Marie was beyond accommodating and offers a bespoke stay at a historic villa rich with history and beautifully restored and enhanced from its original structure. She compiled an incredible book of the property’s history and its restoration process which is unique and shows her care for the property. I appreciated the significant focus on wellness and did not have any issues with allergies and also admired the interior design of the property—promoting a coastal, elegant, light, and airy feeling throughout. The tour of the villa, excellent recommendations, and flexibility Marie offers make it probably the best place to stay in the area if able. Its central location to town and the Calanques provide excellent opportunities for ease of access without requiring a car—while also providing a safe place to leave your car. My husband appreciated the tranquility compared to the rest of town and we were very reluctant to leave! We wish we had stayed longer. Merci beaucoup 💗

The house and location are breathtaking. The house is impeccably clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished with everything you need. The place is relaxing and has an amazing sea view (sunsets are stunning). There are a lot of activities to do in the surroundings: wandering in the adorable village of Cassis with its charming leisure port, hiking around the Cap Canaille, … Also to be mentioned: the beach (a five minute walk to get there from the house) and the pool. So, don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it.

When describing the experience at Domaine de Canaille, one has to leverage some big gun vocabulary: spectacular, magnificent, stunning, once in a lifetime. When my friends and I arrived to the gigantic patio overlooking the sea and Calanques, I literally felt that I’d been parachuted into a James Bond movie. This is an extraordinary property with a rich history and unmatched view in the South of France. The main house sleeps a large group comfortably and there is an extra annex of suites to accommodate larger parties. We relished the experience of working with local Chef Jeremy for the catering and enjoyed the friendly and accommodating team of staff. There is great access to the beach below (although a hike), and Cassis is an easy 15 minute walk. The orangery was perfect for morning yoga and games, and there is also a boules court and secluded hammock for napping. The decor is brilliantly designed, modern and elegant but completely comfortable and approachable. Marie was extremely helpful in creating all the arrangements and made great recommendations to ensure a lovely stay for our guests and to suggest activities. Our stay was truly a once in a lifetime experience at this magnificent home.

Amazing place where you can relax while watching the sunset either from your room, from the swimming pool, from the terrace and even from a jacuzzi. Everything is carefully thought of : wonderful food, yoga sessions, walks, and lovely evenings by the fire. Special thanks to our hosts for being so considerate. No mishaps. Perfect stay in a fantastic villa. The view from the villa is certainly the most beautiful in the Cote d'Azur. Breath-taking! The house is beautifully decorated - luxury with French "art de vivre", and the owners have been able to create an intimate atmosphere in the villa.

This place is an absolute gem. The location is very practical, we can easily go to the beach by foot and the town as well. The comfort of the house is a must, you have everything you need. The Domaine de Canaille is the perfect place to relax and have fun at the same time: by the pool, in the jacuzzi, on the terraces or even in your own room. The view from the house is just outstanding, as well as comforting and inspiring. Finally, the organisation in advance and the service on site is worthy of a 5-star hotel!

We were a party of 18 family members gathered to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday! Couldn't have asked for a better holiday! Marie made everything possible! Pierre and Sophia at the house are really wonderful and helpful. It was just a fantastic time. Highly recommend! Six stars ! Not Five!!

Absolutely perfect location for a girls weekend away for 12. Pierre, the villa manager, took great care of us and made the best chocolate cake ever. Marie, the owner, offered excellent advice on what to do and see in the area. We did a long hike in the Calanques which was breathtaking but nothing compared to the panoramic view onto the sea from the house. Although it was too cold to sit outside in the evening, we enjoyed the most spectacular sunsets from inside the house, the sky was literally on fire. We'll definitely be back...

My friends, family and I had the most incredible stay at Domaine de Canaille from September 23-September 27 2021! We celebrated our wedding there and it could not have been a more perfect setting. The property itself is so gorgeous, clean, and the already incredible pictures do not do it justice! The setting and views are even better. I would recommend Domaine de Canaille for any group looking for a truly special and once in a lifetime holiday or event setting.

We had a lovely stay at Domaine de Canaille, a truly special destination on the French Riviera. The living spaces were bright and modern, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the location, perched atop a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, is pure magic. The property is set in an impressive 148 acres of grounds under the Cap Canaille, a short drive from the picturesque port town of Cassis, and close to all local attractions: hiking, climbing, beaches, wineries. Domaine de Canaille is surrounded by landscaped grounds and offers a beautiful, large swimming pool, surrounded by terraces overlooking the sea. A private path from the property takes you to the beach below! Our favourite feature was the expansive walk-out terrace, where we enjoyed our meals al fresco. We can’t wait to return!

We had the most incredible stay at Domaine de Canaille. We arrived for 5 days including my wedding. We were welcomed by Pierre with drinks and an efficient walk through with Pascal. Marie recommended the incredible chef Jeremy to cook dinner for us each night and we have never had such delicious food. The whole team was so welcoming and kind, especially Sofia. Every room has beautiful design details, and the ocean view rooms simply take your breath away. We had two small children with us and they loved the toys and playhouse provided upstairs. The hospitality of Marie and her team was something we have not experienced, and we are so appreciative of the wonderful wedding we had. The town is a short walk from the home and provided great activities like shopping, taking a boat around the coast, and wine tasting at a nearby vineyard. We will absolutely come back again. Thank you for a week to remember :)
