Hope he is fired. He was also rude and kind of racist while giving free beer to some girls. Also I hear he denied food to others customers while taking orders in other places for food. And when I paid with my credit card he sign for me on the screen! I was like what is he doing??? Sorry but I will reject that payment! Terrible terrible!!!

I made a reservation online few days ago and these guys just cancelled it in the last minute, just sent an email where they were thanking me for cancelling my reservation. There is no phone number on a website or in the email to call them and ask what happened. Like any other good Irish Pub, it has kareoke and even a nice stage in the middle of the bar. This is an Irish bar nearby the hotel I was staying. On my first visit I wasn't sure of how things worked - the pub was quite crowded with football playing on the screens (Frankfurt were 1-0 down at half time) and the bar is at the far end but the barman there found me an empty table near the front they'd be over to take orders. There was a nice but excitable crowd in (particularly when Frankfurt equalised then won in the second half) yet despite the quantity of patrons the service was still fast and efficient, with waiters getting around people to take orders and replenishing drinks frequently. I just had a snack of wings and salad with two good beers, and found it a good place to relax. Sadly, this quality of service was inconsistent: I returned a few nights later and found the pub semi-full, told by a barman that upstairs was closed but sit at a downstairs table anyway and someone would be over... but I noted there were only two waitress and they were barely seen on the floor. After being overlooked for 20 mins... I left to go elsewhere - I found it strange that service was pretty effective when they were busy but seemed to lack the staff when partly-empty. Despite the good snack I received on my previous visit, I don't feel a compelling reasons to return here.

It was nice to hear some Irish accents again after two years being away from working in Dublin in 2018. The only niggle I have is with the price of the food, wasn't expecting it to be quite so expensive. Given the popularity of Waxy's, I thought that the price might actually work against the overall popularity and persuade people to eat elsewhere. Still a nice bar, will be coming here again.

The girl said my card didn't work so I tried again no it didn't work again so I payed with my other card and yes all payed. But when I got home I checked my account I was charged 10 times at €1940 so now I am trying to contact waxeys to what happened and claim my money back

From the moment I made the enquiry the staff were unbelievably enthusiastic about hosting the event. They catered to my every need including booking a large table and ensuring we all had enough space to socialise. We were served almost all night by the waiter Elvis who was more than happy to take and deliver our drinks orders aswell as entertain us with some impressive magic tricks! He was a large contributer to the positive and happy atmosphere of the night. A SPECIAL MENTION: Waxys has one of the best Guinness outside of Ireland that we have ever tasted! I ordered a delicious birthday cake from the Maja insta: @coconey.frankfurt who works with Waxys. It was a large chocolate cake which can be seen in the photos below, I can confirm it was as scrumptious as it looks. The compliments on the cake were endless, everybody scraped their plate clean. My friends and I cant speak highly enough of the craic we had in Waxys which is completely down to the safe and the warm, welcoming atmosphere that this Irish pub eminates. I would highly recommend for all your partying/drinking/socialising needs! We will be back!

Inside was an ideal atmosphere, rowdiness for the game, but you could still have a conversation with the people around you without being drowned out. Elvis stopped by to say hello to us again, and the service was great again all around. We didn’t book enough seats inside for the night, but the security guard did his best to find a solution for us, securing two of the outside tables for our group, once again a great effort was made for us. Can’t recommend Waxy’s enough whether you are thinking of going for a few quiet drinks, a social event or for watching sport!
