One of the best meals I've ever had. Incredible.

I did not have the opportunity to browse the wine list, but we drank well here and I hear it has one of the best wine lists in Frankfurt. Decent glassware. Good portions, solid cooking, and frankly, good value.

Small restaurant but that is the beauty of it. Very intimate, sat by the food counter. Amazing choices of white and red wine. And menu is simple no fuzz. The starter with the salad with goat cheese was by far my favourite. And the broccoli main dish was excellent. Definitely a place to visit when in Frankfurt.

Hat uns nicht gefallen. Die "Gänse Essenz" war zu Beginn noch sehr schmackhaft, dieser Geschmack wurde aber von Löffel zu Löffel durch die zugegebene Rote Beete getötet, denn diese hat zunehmend dominiert, sehr schade. Der "rosa gebratene Tafelspitz" war das einzige Gericht, welches wir bedenkelos empfehlen können. Die "Gänsebrust klassisch" war trocken, das Maronen-Jus war für mich eine gebundene, geschmacklose Pampe - aber sichlich kein Jus. Die Kombi Steckrübe/Rosenkohl/Blutwurst zum Zanderfilet hat für uns überhaupt keinen Sinn gemacht und uns auch nicht geschmeckt. Allgemein: Hinter der Theke kann man zusehen, wie alle vorbereiteten Zutaten nur noch "zusammengewürfelt" und serviert werden. In einer (ebenfalls einsehbaren) 1-qm-Küche werden die warmen Speisen "fertiggestellt", Die vorgegarte Gänsebrust ging 10 Min. in den Bachofen und dann nochmal kurz unter den Salamander. Das ganze hat für uns nichts mit Kochen zu tun, schon gar nicht in der Preisklasse. Die Bedienung war, bis auf die etwas unterkühlt wirkende blonde Dame (Chefin?), sehr freundlich. Ambiente ist schlicht und relativ dunkel. Uns erschloss sich nirgends der Begriff "Heimat".

Really good place for a nice dinner. To make a reservation was very easy and I would give an extra star to the gentleman on the phone, who stayed very friendly and calm after I switched the reservation time twice :) The food & wine were great as well as the atmosphere - we had a table inside, as outside it can be a little bit noisy (see location on google maps). The prices are not cheap, but it was every euro worth. We will definitely come back again!

Toller Service! Das Essen ist lecker und sehr kreativ zubereitet. - Ich finde die Portionen zu groß. - Die Weinkarte ist sehr gut sortiert und es gibt tolle Weine. Der Somalier hat richtig viel Gefühl und kann nach einem Bordeaux einen perfekten Weißwein empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist toll, jedoch auch etwas laut.

Ein super leckeres Essen wurde getrübt von der Stimmung. Man hatte das Gefühl, da man keinen Wein getrunken hat, nicht willkommen zu sein. Allerdings war das Essen zart und lecker, einen Gruß an die Küche.

This restaurant is the gift that keeps on giving... my 'must visit' anytime I am in Frankfurt. Oliver (somm legend) and the team are just so welcoming and knowledgeable about their menu and incredible range of wines by the glass. The food is precise and adventurous and amazing what they create in such a tiny space. Ask for a counter seat if you are dining alone. Thank you again and see you very soon!

Super Essen und eine Weinkarte, die jeden Weinliebhaber dahin schmelzen lässt!!! Das Essen ist nicht unbedingt sehr kreativ, aber die Zubereitung mehr als perfekt! Der Service ist super freundlich. Bei dem Ambiente hatte ich mir irgendwie ein kleines bisschen mehr erhofft…hier kann es draußen schon auch mal noch sehr laut von der Straße sein. Aber das ist meckern auf ganz hohem Niveau :-)

Wir waren mit 7 Personen zum Weihnachtsmenü. Es war hervorragend. Essen, Service, Ambiente einfach klasse. Wie man in der kleinen Küche solche Sachen zaubern kann, ist wirklich eine tolle Leistung. Vielen Dank

With the place half full I was told they were fully booked. There was no empathic kindness from the hostess to explain. Racism at its finest.

Really one of my favorite restaurants in Frankfurt. Menu changes weekly and everything is prepared with a lot of attention!

Quite a disappointing experience. Feeling of eating expensive food in a queue at the supermarket. Good food. However the service was too intrusive: asking how we liked our meal in the middle of chewing or interrupting conversations for this question - that was quite impolite. I was also asked by a waiter what would be my next wine, having my first glass almost full yet. At the end we were asked about a dessert two times. First time we said we just finished two meals and are full yet and were finishing our wine. And second time when we refused from a dessert - we were asked to pay straightaway as next guests are coming.

Absolutely fabulous place where gourmet food and assorted wines are brought to you by friendly and extremely efficient people. At the same time Heimat is laid back and relaxing, no trace of snobbish attitude so common in other gourmet places. We were also very touched by the fact that staff wear masks. Caring for others is sadly out of fashion nowadays, but not at Heimat. We love it.

One of the best restaurants in Frankfurt, quality wise, amazing food and great selection of wine, topped with moderate prices. 6stars to the service. From all the restaurants I have visited so far, “the special one” works in this restaurant. Attentive, great recommendations, good manners and etiquette without being too much.
