It's the only two Michelin starred restaurant in Frankfurt and has been on my radar for a couple of years to try. Finally I was invited here by a customer and had a chance to experience it. Located in the old Palmengarten (royal greenhouse) in Frankfurt this is a cozy but small restaurant with a fabulous selection of wines. It seats about 25-30 guests max and offers a tasting menu of 5-7 courses. They also offer daily a 5-6 course Vegan tasting menu which is fabulous if you are vegetarian. It's near impossible to find classic French restaurants offer such an option almost anywhere as normal menu. Food is excellent and you can really tell the classic French flavours, tasty and not super rich. The balance is fabulous and the food was cooked to perfection. The service here is amazing and the sommelier was one of the best I have seen anywhere. Great knack for picking wines and he just chose them for us as we went along. Would come back here anytime. As a lover of French cuisine it's hard to find places that serve excellent food that is not too rich but packed with flavour. Highly recommended for its ambience and service standard.

We had one degustation menu and one vegan menu, combined with wine pairing. Restaurant has very nice interior with discrete music , very polite and professional staff. My vegan menu was designed by Chef Krolik and it was best vegan menu I had so far. Our highlights were Schwarzwurzel mit Truffeijus and Vegetable pasta with Maronen , from other menu Jakobsmuschel and Halibut filet. Wine selection was good , but not as outstanding as food. Wines and champagne higher priced than other Michelin star places we visited.

Exquisites Grands Produits bzw. Veganes Menü. Ossietra Caviar aus der Rhön, Taunus Fichtensprossen, essbare Kirschkerne. Exzellenter Service und Wein auf höchstem Niveau.

We got to the restaurant sort of by accident so we had no idea what to expect when we first walked in. The place is fancy and classy but without extravagances. We did feel a little rigid at first because everyone else in the restaurant was so serious, and quiet and fancy, but we got over it and started to enjoy the place and the exquisite food. Every bite is a mind blowing experience, full of different textures, smells and flavors. It’s a full experience, the sommelier, the waiters, the way the dishes are meticulously manufactured and brought to the table, everything! All tho definitely out of the budget I’d say it’s worth the price.

The food is simply gorgeous. The products used are, as expected, of the best quality, their aromas skillfully composed and brought out, to finally be arranged into a small work of art on the plates. The two Michelin stars are certainly well deserved. The service does its work attentively but unobtrusively. The atmosphere is pleasant. Unfortunately, I have to deduct one star for the prices. Where I can still accept the prices for the menus, even if they are already on a three-star level, the prices for drinks are obviously much too high. Wines and eau de vies are sold with about sixfold surcharges. Even if one expects high surcharges, this is clearly too much compared to the rest of German top gastronomy, where one usually finds surcharges in the range of twofold to maximum threefold. The accompanying wine journey is of good quality, but glasses are often served with not even 0.1l. This leaves, despite the excellent food, a somewhat bad feeling.

What a disappointment. We arrived for our 37th wedding anniversary and were hoping for something special. What we got could best be described as “mediocre”. The food was “OK” but nothing special. Very little imagination and nothing to excite the palate or eye. Our experience dining at Frankfurt restaurants has mostly been along the lines of “charge them a lot of money and the customers will think they are getting something special”. Unfortunately, Lafleur was along these lines. We chose the 6-course option, and I asked the waiter if I could exchange one of the courses for a specific dish from the vegetarian menu. I was told “no – I could have the potato, but not the risotto”. A more appropriate response would have been “yes, but it could cost more”. There was no interest if trying to satisfy the customer. The biggest disappointment came when it was time to leave. After spending a total of €613 for 2 menus, 1 glass of Billecart-Salmon Rosé (€33), Tap Water with bubbles (€11), 2 Biers (€9), bottle of wine (€124) and espresso (€6.10) and a €50 tip, the head waiter more or less threw our coats at us and then turned around without saying “thankyou”, “have a nice evening” or anything else. We could live with the mediocre food and the price. This is Frankfurt. There is no excuse for this level of service at a Michelin two-star restaurant. We have frequented many Michelin recommended restaurants in Europe and based on the level of service, I cannot recommend your trying this one.

This restaurant is having two Michelin stars and one of the few that able to have vegan and protein menu and keeping the stars. The food experience is amazing. Very artistic looking and rich in tastes. Wine pairing is really awesome and fit the food flavor. The staff were certainly professional and knew their dishes all way around. They kept servicing all the time where where their guest and it was wonderful. Very nice atmosphere as mine was actually in LaFleur in Copenhagen in Tivoli park. The prices are of course according to the quality and that’s understandable to be expensive. Transport wise in Copenhagen its in center of the city and near all kind public transportation.

In June 2023, the Michelin restaurant from Frankfurt visited Tivoli in Copenhagen. We enjoyed the 12 course vegan menu. I recommend a visit but be quick if you want to try it before it moves back to Frankfort

Great food, nice collection of wines with reasonable price, and perfect service. Definitely a place to re-visit while in Frankfurt. Btw, it would be good if they can shorten whole dining time to less than 3 hours.

From the start, the staff at Lafleur made us feel welcome... we spent nearly 5 hours there. Went for the full 7-course tasting, with a few extra amuses presented to us. Short version of how the food was incredible: Teach me how you cook carabeniros, I would put the bone-marrow crust on every steak if I could, First time I really enjoyed sweetbreads, Quail consomme could be a full dinner, I need the piquillo gel in my life, etc...

Wine was delicious. Especially the tasting menu. But still the most underwhelming Michelin star restaurant I’ve been to yet. Staff was friendly. Basic ingredients, nothing special, lackluster and incredibly salty. It took over 3 hours to get a 5 course meal. Lack of unique ingredients. Everything tasted the same. And we were sweating the entire time because they keep it like 80 degrees plus in the room.

This place blew our minds. This is how michelin dining should be. The food was on another level. But above all, our server boris was an absolute star, and a statue for what professional service should look like. One of our best dining experiences world wide to date

High level. Very friendly and professional service. Amazing kitchen, very imaginative and greeted warmly. Great wine selection, last time I had fish that I still can't forget. I can only recommend this place. The price is fair compared to the quality you get!

We really enjoyed our meal and the wines here. I took the vegan 5-course menu and my boyfriend the normal menu (also five courses). We also took the wine-pairing option to make sure we got the full experience. The food and wines were excellent. Interesting flavour combinations, wonderful presentation. Staff very attentive. The reason for not giving 5 stars are the atmosphere (it could have been more intimate), the plates (every course had the same white plates) and the prices. Charging €30 a glass for the aperitif is too much. Also the price ratio of the vegan menu in comparison to the meat/fish menu (including even waygu tartar) was wrong, the vegan menu only cost €16 less and we felt that the value did not match the prices when comparing the two menus. Pictures are the vegan menu, and mixed pictures of both menus.

It is good. Chef makes mozzarella and curry to ice cream in appetizer, but pigeon and venison are just above average. The food is fine and full of techniques. Overall it is worth to visit.

Food is absolutely out of this world. Wow wow wow! Every dish was better than the last. The only letdown is that the 7 course dinner took close to 5 hours! I know this is haute cuisine but that is simply too long a dining experience, especially on a weeknight! We were waiting up to 20-30 minutes between courses! Just wanted it to end by the 5th course. Book for a 7pm table because you will be there until 12am.

Being from New York City one is exposed to the sublime international gastronomic cuisine. La Fleur, once hailed for its culinary prowess, left us underwhelmed with a gastronomic experience that barely surpassed mediocrity. Despite its lofty reputation, it failed to rise above the ordinary fine dining establishments scattered across New York City. Remarkably, the staff soared to Michelin-star standards with its impeccable service and professionalism. Yet the cuisine proved to be a letdown, lacking the creativity expected of a world-class restaurant. In many ways the cuisine remains in a time capsule 20 years in the past and perhaps more suited for the traditional palates of the seasoned souls.

Perfect as always. From the service to the wines. Unfortunately one wine was missed (although ready on the side table), but this was fixed at the end. The presentation is as always excellent and the location unbeatable. The vegan menu was delicious and always good for a second.
