Da Cemino is one of the oldest and best-known pizza places in Frankfurt. The pizza is classically baked in a stone oven. The crust is always crispy and the pizza is a real treat. You order your food directly when you enter the restaurant and pay for it straight away. Then you can start looking for a seat or order to go. It should be noted that this is not a restaurant. There are seats inside and outside, but on a first come first served basis. The food is ready relatively quickly and is announced over the loudspeakers. Very good pizza for little money. Only the pasta dishes are not good. A visit is definitely recommended

One of the very few restaurants I give 5 stars and they totally deserve it. Very tasty pizza with stable quality, friendly people, nice vibe, outdoor seating available, fast service, decent amount of ingredients, great varieties of dishes… really good place with reasonable price!j

The pizza I ordered tasted very very mediocre with big broccolis which I felt was not even cut. Toppings could have been better. Otherwise everything is fine with nice staffs and also it’s self service. Ambiance is okay.

I think the photo speaks for itself. This place normally makes one of the best pizzas in Frankfurt but somehow, we faced this experience at our last visit. This not the "Da Cimino" that I know. I hope they take this as afriendly warning.

So I’m very thrilled that we found this awesome pizza joint, but I’m also sad that it’s not closer to where I live. However, I’m stoked to have stumbled on this place and if my family ever wants some authentic and delicious pizza, we can always make the drive here. This is your mom and pop type of establishment where you can quickly line up and take some pie or eat your pizza there. We choose to dine in, this place is the place to be for lunch time! They only take cash so make sure you plan ahead. As far as the pizza goes, it was so so delicious even my younger kiddos mentioned how good it was. The delicious chewy yet crispy crust, foldable thin pizza, delicious amount of tomato sauce and cheese with topping of just about anything that you can imagine. So so good! Thank you!

This place serves Napolitano style pizza and it is delicious. First time here. I had the Champions League pizza. They only accept cash. It's a very inexpensive Pizzeria with SO MANY options for pizza and pastas. I'm definitely coming back!

Small authentic pizza spot with some of the best pizza in town. Small space for indoor seating, outside patio when weather permits in the summer. I'm personally not a fan of the pasta dishes and salads, but the pizza is legendary. Extremely fast service and very reasonable price. Their wines are actually pretty decent considering price. Parking is terrible, but this place is worth circling the block for a couple times in search of parking.

Came here after reading a reddit post from 3 years ago. You know it's good if it was suggested back then and thank goodness this place survived covid. Not too many places like this anymore. A fantastic neighborhood pizza & pasta joint that's apparently known by the locals for decades now. I got lucky and got a seat immediately on a Monday night. I've been told that the place gets packed on the weekends and there's a huge wait time to get your order in. I went for a seasonal pizza handwritten on a chalkboard (super old school). Pizza toppings were all on point and the dough had great texture (crunch) and taste. As a first timer, I'm happy with my experience and thank the kind soul who wrote their suggestion on Reddit in the pre-covid era.

Affordable price with decent food. Indoor seating is quite a limited space and outdoor seating can accommodate bigger group. A wide range of menu to choose. A local joint where there are always local having their pizza here.

This restaurant has some of the best pizza that I have ever tasted. The service was really good. The servers were extremely friendly & the food was served quickly. They have a huge menu & have great variety of pizzas, pastas, & other dishes. The amount of food that you get for the price is phenomenal. The only downside is that they don't accept credit card, my friend & I had to go find an ATM to withdraw money. However, it wss worth it as the pizza was great. If I ever visit Frankfurt, I'll definitely visit this location again.

We went two weekends ago and didn’t have the best experience, especially because the service wasn’t its best that day. The young guy that took our order wasn’t very friendly. Now regarding the food, the pizza was good and the lasagna ok. The prices on the other hand are really good and they were really fast with the order.

Best Pizza in town. The stone oven gets your pizza ready in just a few minutes. Taste is yummy and you get a great value for money. Mostly take away but they do have a few seats and more in summer outside. There is always a line with speaks for itself. Recommended!

Very unfriendly staff! Two employees tried to make us leave to have more space available for their own friends. Food quality is OK, but definitely not that awesome to justify such a rude behavior.

The pizza is always good and the service is quick although the place is often crowded. It's a great place for a quick pizza with friends, but not a good choice if you want to spend time in a cozy place chatting or reading a book. The place is often busy and noisy, but you'll have a great time once you focus on your food.

One of the best Pizza places in Frankfurt. You can't go wrong with any of the pizzas. I have eaten here for over a decade and always enjoy it. Can't say anything about the Pasta, but that can't be bad either. A new loudspeaker for announcing ready dishes should be looked into though. Looking forward to next time.

It was a good pizza baked in typical European style and taste. If you are Vegan, you will not find enough choices. Whereas this eatery is good for take-aways. Dine-in space is quite congested and old styled without any music or proper service. However, it is recommended to have the European taste of pizza.

A friend of mine recommended me this place as the best pizza he‘d found in the city. It definitely didn’t disappoint. Order at the counter, take a seat and wait for your order. The crust is delicious, chewy and filling in a way that commercial made pizzas never are. They kindly boxed up what we couldn’t eat afterwards. Be aware It‘s cash only. There is an ATM at the Sparkasse on the street if needed. Looking forward to going back!

My favourite place and a must to go when in Frankfurt! Been having meals there 20 odd years till now. My favourite seafood spaghetti marina and mushroom spinach!!! Yummy.

Very tasty pizza and like original Italian one. Big spectrum of different types of ingredients. Place itself not too big, so you need to be lucky to find a place to seat. Waiting time incredible short no matter how many Pizzas you will order. I can say this is the best Pizza in Frankfurt which i tried so far.

Ordered their aglio olio which tasted bland. Their vongole pasta was much better. Spinach mushroom was average.

Where to start! Thanks to the great pizza (the chef spared no cheese), the friendly staff and the spotless bathroom (you know the cleaniness of a restaurant from the status of its bathroom) was our trip to Frankfurt last month unforgettable. Original Italian Pizza with suitable prices and great family photos. Diffinitly coming back there. Keep up the great work guys!

Taste: 5/10 Service: 7/10 Price 9/10 Food preferences are subjective but the two times I tried Da Cimino Pizzas I was underwhelmed. The mozzarella cheese had a rubbery texture and also was not as flavorful. The price is great and I can understand that this place is popular with students, given also the proximity to the University campus and library.

Fatest food I have ever ate in Germany, and really energetic with all the employee, both made me a good experience from it! Food is simply pizza and Baked, but there are many options, be sure to find one you like. Das essen hat mir auch wirklich geschmeckt!

The taste was good, the part with the shrimps was indeed my favorite, with a nice combination of white and red sauce. But I had wished the borders were more crunchy… Very kind and patient People working at the place.

Ok I have to say that's one of the best pizzas I ever got at least in Germany, obviously baked with wood oven, the mass it's not too slim for being super crunchy, but it's enough for feeling the crispiness. You have to now that you have to order first and then you look for one sit, they will call you with one megaphone

Food quality is consistent here. Very much frequent by the locals as they don't have English menu here. Straight forward no fuss menu and a self service diner.

One of the best pizzas not only in Frankfurt, but in entire Germany! Great taste, value for money, short waiting time thanks to the authentic open fire oven. If you start seeing their boxes all around, you are on the right path.
