Very nice restaurant with great atmosphere and service. Fairly expensive, but not a killer for the class of a restaurant! Had a great birthday 🎂 celebration for my wife, and even my children enjoyed the dinner 🍽. Highly recommend 👌! Thank you!

I see such bad made sushi first time in my life. I don't eat green onion at all, and I could not even imagine that they could put it in sushi - this is a complete failure. the price of sushi is 19 euros, which is undoubtedly a robbery. seeing them in advance, I wouldn’t even eat them for free

Wonderful café in the daytime and great dinner place in the evening. It is a bit on the fancy side but the food is delicious and the staff is friendly. It can be really busy. So It might be worth making a reservation.

Unexpectedly delicious and great cocktails. I had an 12h layover on a Sunday and decided to check Frankfurt, to my surprise most of great restaurants are closed on Sunday but we found this place through OpenTable. Cocktails were delicious and the food as well, service very friendly and ambience was beautiful. The restaurant has great outdoor area and seatings are very comfortable. I wasn't expecting but this place was a nice surprise after long hours of flight. We had the risotto and short ribs, delicious and well portioned. We didn't try desserts but they looked amazing.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN FRANKFURT. I had lunch here and I wanted to pay 77 euros including about 12-13% of tip, so I wrote on the bill and gave 100 euros with the bill to the waiter. But the waiter saw the bill and he almost threw 20 euros to us and left instantly (without saying a single word). I didn't want to ruin the mood because it was my first day of traveling Germany, so I didn't argue with him. But he was the rudest waiter I've ever met, hoping he will be fired soon. Anyways the food was good and the waitress was nice except the very disrespectful waiter. Absolutely not worth it.

Gorgeous restaurant built on the side of Stadel Museum in a “glass house”. The tall ceilings and beautifully decorated interiors are magnificent. It has a small menu and food was pretty good. Both the inside and outside area offers a great experience! A bit pricey but worth it.

Delicious lunch, far better quality and experience than expected for what we initially thought was "just" a museum cafe! I couldn't stop remarking excitedly about the bread, even though it was just a side for the soup, it was filled with sunflower seeds and wonderful! We had a large lunch ordering the Pumpkin Soup, Vietnamese Pho and Scottish Salmon & Avocado, with coffees and table water, and our total bill came to €60 including 10% tip for the lovely waitress who was able to speak to us in English (thanks!).

Perfect place....it was my sentimental visit in Frankfurt connected with lunch in this place. Fantastic beef tartare, and as a main dish marvelous "teufel fish"...all that with a great white wine.... Good service, not perfect (a little to long waiting for bill), but it was acceptable. My visit - excellent.. Thanks.

Great restaurant with kind staff in an elegant atmosphere. We took a nice break from enjoying the art and ordered the spicy tune with friend rice, a pot of loose leaf tea, decaf coffee with almond milk and a refreshing lemonade. Ralf was especially helpful and knowledgeable. Would love to try the full menu next time.

The Holbeins Cafe / Restaurant is located on the backside of the Städel Museum. Super friendly and attentive staff. Small but very tasty menu for lunch. They also offer great selection of juices and cakes. The place has a wonderful atmosphere

The place is a bit expensive but very nice. We just had cocktails and dessert after a visit to the museum. The dishes and service were exceptional. If you plan to enjoy a full meal, reservations are recommended.

Location & ambiance is great! I could find the parking right in front of entrance, but mostly one has to park like 400-500 meters away. Food was fine but it’s expensive.

One of the best restaurant in my life. Is there anything they do not well ? No. I strongly suggest the Chef’s best friend advise (sushi’s). The truffle pasta were excellent. The banana caramalized chocolate dessert was made by an angel. The atmosphere is cozy.

Walked by this restaurant by coincidence. What a wonderful surprise. The waiter was forthcoming and very friendly! Thank you! They have a small but nice wine list. Coravin options available. Decent glassware that helps the oenological experience. Food looks good and tasty. Tends to get busy book ahead. The interior and exterior are well looked after. Enjoyed by stay. Service made this one BRAVO! (And thank you for the mask!)

Besides the typical dishes, they have a top sushi chef (was 7 years in Japan to learn and master its skills 🍣). Keep in mind - portions are rather small. At least 2 dishes are recommended if you are hungry. Also tasty are their fish of the day and the ravioli 🍺

Very nice and fancy restaurant in the museum with terrace. Lovely and refined food ranging from gyoza ravioli to fresh fish (catch of the day) to ox cheeks (melted in our mouths) not to forget dessert. Must try

Great venue! Loved the art (tv) show on the wall, such a good idea. As a vegetarian i didn’t have a lot of choices for the main dish. Both were pasta dishes (ravioli or fresh pasta), while meat eaters have a very wide range to choose from. The chef could use a bit more imagination for vegetarian customers. I chose the pumpkin ravioli and portion/price wise I thought it was out of balance. 7pieces ravioli and 4 pieces of pumpkin for 22 euro. It was tasty though. My colleague had the venison and had a very well balanced portion price wise for 38 euro. The staff was professional, very polite, understanding etiquette, focussed, all over 30 yrs (no students or starters). Company definitely understands that a customer expects great service at a venue like this. Overall: nice venue, nice food, great staff.

A very beautiful and cozy place for coffe/drinks or dinner!! There's not that big of a cocktail variety though, but that's not an issue for this particular place. It's not a bar exclusively to begin with. I found the prices regular for the stuff I bought. 4€ for a cup of hot chocolate and 10€ for a glass of Hennessy, while the staff was very kind.

One of the best (if not the best) places to visit in Frankfurt. Most definitely worth every penny as it repays you with amazing atmosphere, live piano and one of the best three course meal I ever had. After having the tuna tartar, the grassfed beef and the mango parfait I can say that they were all divine. Not to mention that their red wine was exceptional!
