Had a wonderful time at Villa Merton with my husband to celebrate our third year anniversary. The ambiance of the restaurant was great, the service was professional and friendly. We had the surprise menu which was a truly pleasant surprise. I enjoyed the pork and prawn dish in particular. For a Michelin star restaurant the price was also very reasonable. We will definitely return in the future.

I was satisfied with the friendly service and cozy space. But I was embarrassed by the mixture of Asian and French food. I was embarrassed that the appetizer of Asian food turned into a dessert, and it was hard to eat wasabi because it was not real wasabi but instant wasabi. Of course i respect their interpretation. But I hope they study the meaning of the ingredients. And harmony is the most important virtue of Asian food. It's important to choose wine accordingly. I can understand this part because the interpretation of the taste of European and Asian food is different. Except for that, I was satisfied except for the fact that the tendons were chewed once.

The restaurant presents itself with a very nice atmosphere with soft background music and lighting. The service welcomes you in a friendly manner without appearing artificial, and remains very attentive throughout the whole evening. The food deserves its Michelin star, even if the first two courses could not completely convince me. But the remaining three were excellent, with lovely flavors and textures and of course the best ingredients. The prices are absolutely reasonable for what was offered.

In general, wonderful evening with amazing food. The service was also of quality. Will definitely come back! However, just two issues we had on the night: one of the servers forgot my cocktail and I had to reorder; and it was our 3rd anniversary and we did mention it when asked on the booking site, but nothing special was done. I think because the information was requested, a simple dessert plate with some writings would have made a great experience!

Excellent food, super service, wonderful atmosphere. It is always special. If you like highly skilled execution of sophisticated food without being complicated, this is your place.

Business lunch menu taste really great

Villa Merton is a very lovely place. We had a 7 course dinner including 2 recommendations from the chef. Every course was special on its own. You could clearly see the effort behind it and there were no culinary bounderies. Each dish was a combination of different cultures, and it was spot on. Furthermore, the taste surprisingly changed and it was enhanced by the excellent choices of wine. It was indeed a unique experience, truly worthy of the michelin star.

Relaxing dinner in a romantic atmosphere. The restaurant is located inside a villa. The food is delicious (I highly recommend the venison). Very good service.

Exquisite restaurant with haute cuisine, very attentive staff. We had there a business dinner and everybody was delighted with the food and drinks. Also a very nice location.

Eccellent location, in a villa in a sought area of Frankfurt. So this gives a lovely atmosfere to all the experience. Fantastic to have dinner beside the fireplace, lovely garden as well as well rooms. Definitely would go back again!

The service was great and I felt welcome. But the food was a bit disappointing. The prices were somewhat reasonable but I expected a higher quality from the ingredients used.

Visited Frankfurt for the first time and googled this restaurant. They only offered outdoor seating for lunch which was perfect match with the sunny day. It was a full house except for a couple of tables without sun umbrellas. The business lunch menu was pretty simple and reasonably priced. The melon soup really pleasantly surprised me. I will surely come when I visit the city again.

Extraordinary dinner with fantastic choice of food and wine. There are just couple of tables so not very loud. Professional staff and great atmosphere.

Was there for a wedding celebration. Very professionel service through the night making sure the host could focus on the celebration. Food and wines were fabulous. Especially the vegetarian ravioli is unforgettable!

Unfortunately the experience at this restaurant was very poor. Though the food comes well presented, taste and quality are fairly poor and very far from any other Michelin restaurant i have been to. The service is not good either. The waiters came to the table without explaining the menu nor they have asked for allergies. Menu is " set on stone " and they are not flexible In adapting it for specific needs ( i.e. lactose intolerant or whatever else ) again very disappointing as this is the bare minimum for Michelin. Overall I don't recommend

Excellent food and atmosphere. We felt very welcomed the whole evening. All courses were delicious and interesting. So far our favourite (Michelin Star) Restaurant in Frankfurt.
