Nice plate to eat Indian or Pakistani food. Close to the center. Usually cost 12 Euro with lassi and rice or Naan. Ask for sweet laasi not salty or go for Mango. The place does not accept cards, so you need to carry cash with you. For Muslims the food is Halal. Pro: Food is nice. Con: none

I came here a little over a month ago before the market closed but didn't get the chance to make this review so I thought there's no time like the present! This restaurant had an "eating with the family" vibe that I really liked - it was also wonderfully warm! The woman that greeted and served us was really nice when we walked in, she gave us the recommendations for the day and had everything set up for us. We had the Chicken Mango Curry Plate and a Chicken Curry Plate accompanied with naan. The food had a lot of flavor and was so delicious. I wish the curry itself was just a little bit of a thicker consistency, but that's probably just a preference because of all the Indian and Pakistani restaurants I've been to the curries are hardly ever the same. I enjoyed this restaurant, the lady of the house so-to-say was very nice, and the food was authentic. Good place to try if you're in the area!

Best chicken 🐔 Indian halal food.

Alhumdulillah, the food we ordered(Butter Chicken, egg curry and dal) all were damn yummy. If you missed Ur home and you're in Frankfurt, do come this place and enjoy the taste of flavours with the lovely hospitality of the owner.

It’s a family run restaurant catering to the local office crowd. We went there on a weekday at peak lunch time. The place smelled unpleasant and stuffy but we ignored it. The entire place didn’t appear very clean. We were very hungry and the place had good ratings so we went ahead. Ordered chicken tikka masala from a very polite but unwashed attendant. The food was lukewarm even after his attempt to heat it in the microwave and didn’t taste nice. I suppose the local crowd may not be very familiar with Indian/Pakistani food, otherwise the restaurant wouldn’t be able to charge this high a price for less than mediocre cuisine. The rotis were homemade-style and fresh. We paid about 17€ per person and left feeling cheated but full.

Mediocre food. Didn't have many options when I went and food is nothing special. They only had two chicken dishes and 2 veg dishes. No beef or lamb dishes. The chicken dishes were nothing special. Most positive reviews here are cuz the people ask nicely ask for one. The people are friendly though.

The only restaurant in Frankfurt that is serving Pakistani food that is close to the same taste that we get in Lahore. Halal and also good with quantity. They have freshly made home style chapatis that are a treat to eat with curries. Highly recommended if you crave home made food away from home.

As an Indian, I can say you get authentic north Indian food here. Taste is good. Food is not too spicy, yet flavorful. Visited it recently during my Frankfurt trip.

When seen from the outside, the place doesn't look very promising. But this is perfect example of "Looks can be deceiving". The food is very good be it the traditional dal makhani or butter chicken, the food reminds you of the Dhaba back home which make soulful food.

The food was really nice. I was out of money and the owner (Or the care taker) said 'uska koi masla nai hai, aap bas btao kya khana' I ordered lamb pulao. And it was really very good. Homemade taste. And got a complementary dessert also.

We ordered Alu gosht and chicken tikka curry . Meat was tender and taste was as if you are having meal at home . Freshly made roti really added value. Although the price is a bit at the high end.

Having tried Lahore restaurant on my first day in Frankfurt and being left dissapointed I read some reviews and thought I try Shahi Restaurant. Same thing. Pre made food. Microwaved.... went cold quickly. Asked for salad. Said we do not have any. Will not go again. 9 euros for veg and roti...

Don't expect a fancy place but they have reasonably nice seating option. If you are looking for a great Biryani, then this is the place in Frankfurt for that. Hyderabadi Dum Biryani is really tasty and authentic and only for that it gets 5 starts from me. I plan to try their other offerings as well in future. People here are also very friendly.

Great food, best beef cheema I have ever had. Aaloo tiki was fantastic too. Authentic tawa roti is great too. Host is very warm and welcoming.

They serve homely food. Very nice and spicy indian / Pakistani curries with rice or roti, good range of vegetarian curries to choose from. Very friendly atmosphere, the owner himself takes care of all the requirements. Really nice food.

Mr. Ramzan was incredibly generous. The food was fresh and the smell was really good. I tasted Korma and Rice, with Dal, so delicious. BTW, samosas were really good indeed. Therefore, I strongly recommend this place to try Indian/Pak cuisine.

This is my favourite place in the city center. I’ve been a guest for years. It always makes my tummy very full and very happy. Some of the dishes I like the most are: the different types of dal, the korma (lamb and veal), the butter chicken, the chicken tikka masala, the lamb curry, and tandoori chicken, the okras,… all are AMAZING. And there’s always some new dishes to try. But also don’t miss the aloo tikki and the pakoras: they’re fresh and delicious as snacks. Mr. Ramzan is always very friendly and in a good mood and helps you out if you’re having trouble to decide what combination is best. The prices are fair and the place is clean. I’d give 10 stars if I could.
