Room and shuttle bus was great, but the food in the restaurant and service was not even close to 2 star. Burger was raw, cheese on pizza not melted and salat was missing ingredients from the menu card. The waiter was 35 minutes to serve the drinks and 1 hour for food. Don’t go here for the food

Our flight got canceled so we stranded there. We got a business suite I think and it was a beautiful room with everything you can think of. also, the queen bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in (in a hotel). The food was good and the breakfast was amazing. The hotel is so close to the airport it only costs like 10€ to get to the airport via taxi. there are also shuttles every 20mins to bring you to the airport. In case you need anything the hotel doesn't offer you can visit the petrol station right next to the hotel. Perfect experience. Would have loved to stay longer!

The breakfast is horrible, I was there about 7:30am in the morning and the breakfast provided did not meet the expected standard associated with a hotel of your caliber. The food options were not only limited but also failed to satisfy the standards one would anticipate from a five star rating establishment. I hope you take this feedback seriously otherwise I believe this will damage your hotel reputation within the business conferences industry and also the aviation industry.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. For more than 10 years I have stayed here whenever I have a business in Frankfurt. It was such a wonderful hotel with excellent services and breakfast + dinner options. Then I witnessed everything gradually getting less perfect and less new. This year's experiences were nothing impressive. Most of the good things about the hotel (location, convenient hotel shuttle, nice enough breakfast, good housekeeping, etc) are still there, I can't really complain. If you need to try a new hotel in Frankfurt, this might be the option. If you are already satisfied with another hotel, however, there should be no reason to switch to this location. And on a minor note, I cannot agree with the reviewer who complained about their breakfast. I actually witnessed what was happening there. I had my breakfast at 5:40 in the morning, my colleague couldn't eat much at around 7 am the same day because there were more than 300 people eating their big breakfast at the same time. I would say the hotel managed it quite well when you think of the number of people (with unusual appetite due to the time difference😅) at that time. You just needed to wake up a bit earlier to avoid this craze.

Perfect hotel, especially for business trips, 2 steps from the airport and well connected to the city center. Super helpful staff for any request, even with immediacy. Breakfast is very large and above all very good. The rooms are spotless and are equipped with everything you need. There is also a grove where you can take walks immersed in nature. Advised

Great hotel close to the airport with airport shuttle. Spacious clean rooms. Friendly and professional staff. Good restaurant with a rich variety of meals and nibbles. See the beautiful cheese platter I order with my glass of Syrah :) I stayed in the executive tower and it was a really nice room. I wish I had stayed longer than a few hours due to a cancelled flight to enjoy all their facilities.

I had to spend one night close to the airport and I landed up here. Very convenient shuttle service (every 20 min the whole day). However the room I got was supersmall and dinner at five continents restaurant was really low standard and limited choice. Personnel was very kind.

We stayed here after having missed a connection flight. The 24h shuttle to the hotel is incredible and quick. Staff is great, ambiance stunning, rooms are extremely clean and nice. The restaurant in the hotel also had great food. We would definitely consider Steigenberger again!

Convenient place to stay before a flight. The shuttle leaves every 20 min, 24hrs a day which is super convenient. Rooms are clean, some bigger than others, bed was comfortable. Free bottle of water and Nespresso machine. Good breakfast. Only complaint was the food at the bar was expensive with poor selection and no German food.

Nice hotel. But compared to the other Steinbergers I've stayed in, it was not as elegant. Air Con in the room didn't work, and the shower is not set up well. And I could hear people in the room next to me all night. But overall, it is a good place, clean, and close to the airport with a shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes.

Generally clean, but very high turnover hotel. Sheets had some minor staining. The shower drain didn't keep up and the floor flooded easily. Airport hotel that's good for layovers but charges 7 euro for basic water bottles like the airport itself or the best in class city hotels.

Our fight was canceled. This is where they took us to stay the night. The hotel was very clean, modern looking the rooms for very nice. They had a buffet for us. That was okay. The breakfast was great. I believe a lot of like crew stays here so very comfortable hotel very close to the airport

Really great location within close proximity to the airport. Given how close it is, it was still very quiet. Sadly we were here because @Lufthansa screwed up our flights. However, we were delighted to be at this hotel. The service was very good, the rooms were clean and well appointed, and the breakfast was will done. We would certainly stay here again, hopefully under better circumstances.

The rooms are a nice size, and modern furnished and the service, in general, was polite. However, we were not allowed to temporarily store our luggage for two hours as guests on a layover operated by United Airlines. I believe this does not correspond to good service, and I am extremely disappointed by the hotel's statement. Simple, due to this fact, I do not recommend the hotel.

Very nice hotel, conveniently located 5 minutes from the Frankfurt Airport. Very nice structure, clean and well maintained with superior amenities. Rooms are spacious, clean and impeccably furnished. The only downside was the service: the personnel was far from being openly available and courteous, but perhaps I was there in the wrong moment at the wrong time. It deserves full stars for the infrastructure anyway...

I was unfortunate to be stranded in Frankfurt due to delays with Lufthansa causing me to miss my connecting flight, with no more available until the next day. Lufthansa made arrangements for me to stay at the Steigenberger hotel. There was a shuttle bus that comes every 20 minutes which drops you at the front door, check in was super easy and the room was beautiful. It was clean, comfortable and spacious, and although I only had time for a short sleep before I had to get back to the airport, it was very comfortable. Lufthansa also include a food voucher, and for this the hotel provide a lunch box which had a cup noodle, some snacks, water and an apple, plenty to keep you going. If I'm ever coming to Frankfurt and need to be near the airport, I'll almost certainly stay here again!

Stayed over night to catch an international bound flight the next day. Located some 900m from terminal 1, there is a shuttle service to and from the terminals. - Rooms: we got a family room, it had one large bed and 2 small bed with one being a Murphy bed. Clean and well appointed. My only negative observation was that the data cable for the tv was visible and easy to access. But I work in network infrastructure and this sort of thing would only bug me. - breakfast: a very good buffet selection, well worth it - free wifi: sign up and be a member, it is free and you get a good data rate (around 50Mb) if you just go for the non member option is is around 1-3Mb - pool facilities: only down side from my point of view, the pool is for sauna users (not my thing) and VERY cold. Interesting view of the airport though and good gym. Overall I would recommend this place, sound insulation is good and you can’t hear the flights or street traffic.

Excellent hotel! situated very close to Frankfurt international airport, but in a quiet location. Modern, spacious, sparkling clean, the staff is polite, helpful and efficient. I wholeheartedly recommend Steigenberger Airpory Hotel!

Overnight stopover in Frankfurt and just need a place to sleep close to the airport - picked Steigenberger Airport Hotel cause of the proximity, the free shuttle service, and it’s a well known brand. I was not disappointed. Shuttle bus was easy to find, and on time. Less than 5 minutes to the hotel where check in was painless and quick (with a smile) - and on to a beautiful Junior Suite (thanks for the unexpected upgrade!). The whole property is very clean, room is tastefully decorated with everything you could need - big TV screen, massive windows, enough closet space for at least 3 people. Bathroom is stunning - his and hers sinks, one of the strongest showers I ever had the pleasure of having - and quite lovely lotion bottles. Bed is brilliant - slept like a baby. Requested for extra pillows and got them. The pool is on the top floor, so you get a bit of a view of the airport - although the office building next to the hotel is a bummer. Had a beautiful burger from the restaurant - very well prepared, and didn’t break the bank. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. It ticks every box - plus the check in staff & room service team are so friendly. Felt very welcome - which is what every guests wants to feel.

For a really good and well priced hotel near the Frankfurt International Airport, this is an obvious choice. Rooms are updated, quiet and comfortable, the restaurant offers good food and the hotel offers a shuttle bus that goes to the airport 3 times an hour. Breakfast felt a little mass produced/cattle herded, but the food was really good and everything was very fast and efficient. Without a doubt, the best hotel value in the area.

We used this as a day use hotel for a long layover at FRAnkfurt airport. There's a shuttle from B5 every 20 minutes. Dental kits provided. The hotel could use updating, but was fine for our needs. Bed and pillows could be more comfortable. The sauna area was a nice bonus- large indoor pool, 2 dry saunas and 1 steam which wasn't working. Gym is adequate. There's a business center with 2 private rooms which was very helpful for a virtual meeting while my husband slept.

The room was horrible. Very bad lights, the shower, toilet and sink was actually inside of the room. The toilet had no light at all. The floor carpet was disgusting. I told to reception the light is very bad in the room and they ignored me. No food and no bar service on the hotel on that evening. Very unprofessional. Definitely not a 4 stars hotel.

Two noteworthy things: (1) the included shuttle service every 20 minutes the whole day is fantastic, and (2) this is an 11-minute walk in the woods to the nearest S-bahn station so be warned if you are planning other activities. The rooms are nice, the fitness center has a lot of new equipment (but ceilings a bit low and the barbells don't go very high), sauna and pool are great, and the service is great.

Great hotel, close to the airport and stadium. Staff are wonderful, allowed early checks in, saved our luggage and upgraded us. The hotel also provides excellent breakfast and shuttles to and from the airport. Around 7 min walk to the metro which is great. Will definitely by my top choice whenever I m in Frankfurt.

A clean, well-maintained and stylish hotel. The bed was heaven after our long-haul. Machine coffee in the room, free toiletries. I would describe it as a business style hotel but suitable for all types of visitors. The staff were very pleasant. I would stay again.

I stayed the night before my flight back to the US. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room for 1 person was quite large for 1 person. The bus runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week and it gave me a chance to visit the airport before my flight. I ate at the airport and it was much cheaper than eating at the hotel. I did this mainly because of the reviews from various people not rating the food and service good.

A nice hotel but be careful, the family room is not 43m2 but only 33m2 ! I measured the exact dimensions of the rooms with a laser device. They have compensated for the inconvenience but that doesn’t solve the problem in the end. That is clearly misleading. AC/Heater was very noisy. Many basic items were missing such as tissues, glasses, slippers. Toilet showed some juicy brown spots from the previous occupant … 🤢. Take into account an extra 30 min for check out or check out night before. They have hardly personnel in the morning during peak hours …free shuttle bus is great. Personnel was very friendly and understanding. Rooms are soundproof to outside noise but insulation between rooms is mediocre. Update: happy to see that they updated the room size on booking.con

The rooms are very clean, the beds and pillows are the most comfortable things in the whole world. Never have seen such good pillows..

Great hotel, great hotel and fantastic staff. Got stuck here after my flight was cancelled and this hotel took great care of me. I had gotten a voucher for a single room and they even upgraded me to a junior suite free of charge! Amazingly warm staff and the room was incredible! Well worth a stay and if I'm ever in Frankfurt again I'll be checking in! Close to the airport and they have a free shuttle service also.

Dinner in lobby bar (€29.50 hamburger) took 1 hour to arrive after ordering. Room never got colder than 78°F no matter how the thermostat was adjusted. Poor ventilation in toilet/shower kept room humidity high. Coffee downstairs was €4.80 instead of being free as in our other 2 hotels in Germany. However, the shuttle service to the airport was reliable.

Exceptional experience. Outstanding stay. Can't tell enough how much I enjoyed it here. Next time in Frankfurt, I will come back. Great service, a good breakfast setup with a great tea selection and good coffee.

We got put up at this hotel because of a delayed flight; at first, I thought it was fine - however, I soon noticed that the air conditioning doesn't work. The fan spins, but only room temperature air comes out. On a 30-degree day after multiple line ups and fight delays, that's kind of a big deal. When I informed the front desk about this deficiency, a man promptly appeared, told me that the AC was, in fact, working, and the problem was "a very hot day". To remedy this, I could "open the windows" which should get the room "cooler at night" (good luck sleeping in close proximity to Germany's busiest airport). And here I was, naively thinking that it was the job of an air conditioning unit to cool down the room on a hot day. Note also that there is no mosquito net and the window itself opens only a tiny bit. At the moment, with the window open, as instructed, the room is so hot that I can't sleep in it. So yeah... Unless you like sleeping in a sauna, do NOT stay at this hotel.

Well appointed hotel, modern room, spacious and good location. Unfortunately the air system in our room did not work. The control panel on the wall was not receiving power. The room was way too warm and very, very stuffy. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan and this only added to the heat and stuffy/sticky room air. At check out the desk clerk did not seem to care and answered “komisch” .

Well located for business meeting and airport. I am giving this 3/5 because they need to move their smoking area away from the front door. I tried to get into the hotel but there was a massive group of smokers congregating by the revolving front door. Not what I really want to be breathing in. Recommend they move this smoking area to the rear of the hotel so not to choke new arrivals!

Really impressed with this hotel. Had an overnight layover and it was well above expectation. Only regret was not having reservations for what looked like a really cool restaurant. No worries though the lobby bar and restaurant did just fine. DEFINITELY would stay again.

Nice rooms but they will give you limited/slow wifi unless you become a member. The restaurant also messed up a few of our orders and said they can't fix it because they are too busy. Someone got an entire meal that he didn't order and they said he'd need to wait another hour for his correct order (a burger...). Would not stay again.

Impeccable service! We stayed on one of the last Executive floors - view was amazing. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious. All the staff are super helpful and go above and beyond to provide great service for our stay - a massive thanks to everybody for making our stay truly memorable - would highly highly recommend this hotel - great location close to the airport. Staff: unfortunately the stuff was not very customer oriented. I had one woman at the front desk who was clearly not in the mood to be very friendly or nice. My flight got canceled so I picked the steigenberger. Arrived very early but check in was at 3pm based on my booking. The first staff told me that I am able to upgrade for 30 Euro and be able to check in at 11. when I asked for the upgrade a little bit later the other staff member told me it was 45 Euro. No real explanation why is that. But made me as a guest go through a horrible time since I just had three hours of sleep before. If staff was better trained I would be happily giving more stars. Service is really important to me as a customer. When it was 3pm I returned to the front desk and the woman from the front desk who told me to wait until three let me come to her desk to just tell me that she is shutting the desk now and I have to go to the other one, I got to a point in which I was really done with their service. I spent 8 hours of waiting in the lobby for my room since it was Christmas and there was nothing to do anywhere else so far. Room: the room was clean which I liked. Shuttle: nice driver, and the shuttle was running constantly Pool: looked cute small but nice but was just open until 7pm Location: close to the airport very convenient Overall summary: it was my first time at a steigenberger and i am not intending to come back I would recommend to pick a different hotel since especially during the holidays the treatment was very poor. There are lots of different hotels right nearby the airport I had a much better experience with for the same amount of price.

Good restaurant and great breakfast. Located very close to the airport wwith good connection opportunity. Fast staff in the reception which is great when you are in a hurry. Room though were small, bed outworn, heater was noicy and the room in general not properly cleaned (many stains in the bathroom, hair in the shower, window full of dust). So took a lot of the charm of the stay.

We had a good experience spending a night in an executive suite. the room was large, quiet and clean. The bed was comfy. All staff we met were friendly (reception, bar, and waiters). They offered good choices for breakfast. Another good place to stay near the airport.
