Went for dinner with customers on 2023.03.21. We ordered a Suvadee plate for 2 persons to start with. However, our nightmare began. 2 of our customers dipped on something(color and shape looked like jelly) which was right in the center of plate and put in a bow with foil, they tasted it and said that it is spicy. We all realized that the sauce might have problem until my colleague smelt it liked alcohol something. We asked the waitress there to make sure that was eatable but we just received a big surprise when she explained to us “it is alcohol paste (methanol)” and they supposed to light it up but just forgot it. The waitress also teased us and said that everyone knew it was not for eat. There was no sign or verbal warning when served, shouldn’t the restaurant tell and remind customers? After a while, we decided to leave the restaurant because they completely destroyed our good mood and we worried about our customers’s health. We paid at the cashier and at the mean time we asked the main contact person’s mobile phone number in case of any emergency. The waitress made a call to her boss and explained to him what’s going on here then asked him to talk to us but it was another big surprise. The boss of restaurant laughed on the phone and repeated the same theory as his waitress said that you guys suppose to know it is not eatable. What a joke, customers should know everything in the restaurant? He also gave us another ridiculous example that his mom also ate the methanol last time and she has no problem at all. What a nice logic and they must be Superman and superwoman family, they can eat something we can not. We had so terrible feeling because of his ignorance of customers health and safety. We kept asking him to give his mobile phone number to us many times in case of any emergency but he sounded like not willing to take the responsibility and blamed us it was your problem because you should know it is not eatable. He repeated several times “everyone knows it is not eatable”, wondered whether everyone was clever as he’s expecting. In overall, we have to thank him for the excellent hospitality and unforgettably experience in Frankfurt. All we want is a simply responsible altitude, apparently we don’t see it and feel it. This is the way how they treat customers, very disappointed. GOOD LUCK to everyone.

To me one of the best Thai restaurants in Frankfurt and if you haven't been there, you truly missed out so far and should take the next free opportunity to treat yourself. Huge menu to pick from, with an impressive amount of vegetarian dishes which is rarely the case at Thai places. Portions are very filling and worth every penny. Their curry is amazing. And they also have plenty of interesting dishes that I hadn't seen before and I am making an effort to try them all. Service is fab, not a single thing to complain about and the restaurant has its own little atmosphere with the typical Thai interior.

The food was FINE. Nothing exceptional nor objectionable about it. Spring rolls - Superb. White Wine - dry white wine was excellent. Wine pours are plentiful and generous. Food- Two different dishes from menu accompanied with exactly the same sauce…. The hospitality was AMAZING, the waitress and manager were both attentive and extremely congenial. I would eat here again. Overall, recommended.

Located just downtown Frankfurt, easy to find. Yummy food, service is sometimes a bit slow but still we love going there!

Sind Spontan zum Abendessen vorbei gekommen und hatten einen angenehmen Platz zum sitzen. Karten wurden uns gleich gereicht. Zum Aufnehmen der Speisen hatte sich der Service zeitgelassen. Danach waren sie jedoch zügig. Immer freundlich und nett. Das Essen war von Vorspeise über Hauptgang extrem lecker und schmackhaft ❤️ kann ich nur jedem Empfehlen. Wir hatten zur Vorspeise die Poh Pia - Frühlingrollen und Guang Hom Pha- Garnelen in Reisparpier. Beide Gerichte Hausgemacht und köstlich. Zum Hautgang: Nueah Nam Man Hoi und Pad Bah Mieh mit Hünchen. Beide Gerichte extrem köstlich und lecker. Preis-Leistung Verhältnis stimmt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :)

Except for the rice absolutely authentic Thai food. Suvadee is located near Hauptwache in the centre of Frankfurt. You can easily reach it by foot or subway. The service is very people oriented and friendly. You feel comfortable immediately.

We found this place on our stop in Frankfurt and it was good 👍🏿👌. Fresh, good portion and very tasty 😋.

IDK.. went for lunch with my husband on Saturday, the place was almost empty. Paid 45 euro for two portions of fried noodles with chicken, and two Schorle (0.33). I do not have a problem spending 45 on a lunch, but this atmosphere and service was not worth it.

Really nice food, great starter menu as per the image below. I can highly recommend that and the green curry with crispy duck.

Amazing place with interesting thai dishes. It has other dishes than the normal thai restaurants. I recommend this place if you want to have another thai experience. The peices are also very good.

Foods are so tasty, quite nice staffs. We visited Suvadee on a hot day, so they offered in house service( they have outside seats too) with air condition, very comfortable ! I like the atmosphere- Thai’s Traditional decoration harmonies with the Thai music! Very nice! Price is acceptable!

The food was ok, sadly enough they served chicken curry to us when we asked for vegetarian curry and my wife happened to take a small bite when she realized it was chicken. When we pointed out the server was laughing instead of apologizing. Imagine the appreciation they’ve for vegetarians. They did serve us another vegetarian dish after 30 minutes. The server came to us to apologize but casually while taking a tour of the area, can’t say she was serious. If they don’t appreciate vegetarians then maybe put a board up front. They even had the courage to ask for tip. Worst place.

The location is in central of city. I was here in earlier times several times and normally i ordered Phat Thai with shrimps. However in my latest visit the dish became disappointing. For price of 20+€, it is really not satisfying.

The taste is amazing, but the chicken is a bit over cooked. The team is a bit overwhelmed and must be more organized. The atmosphere is a bit serious in Germany so in the restaurant.

Das Suvadee ist ein authentisches thailändisches Restaurant in mitten der Steinweg Passage angrenzend am Roßmarkt und dem Götheplatz. Es hat eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre und das Essen ist hervorragend. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und seit ca. einem Monat ist nun auch noch zusätzlich meine Lieblingsservicekraft, Sim, in dieses Restaurant gewechselt. Nun ist alles perfekt, unbedingt mal besuchen, wenn man in Frankfurt ist!

The staff here and friendly and speak good English. The ambience is good. athey have a good selection of foo options with a English menu. The food in my opinion was very average. Nothing special, the chicken with vegetable lacked flavour and spice. The large king prawn was over cooked.

In dem Restaurant an der Hauptwache sitzt man einigermaßen nett. Es ist in einem kleinen Innenhof bei der Hauptwache. Allerdings ist es auch ziemlich gedrängt, laut und echt warm draußen. Für die zentrale Lage trotzdem besser als mittendrin in den Menschenmassen zu sitzen. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich habe hier nichts zu bemängeln. Das Essen war allerdings nicht sonderlich lecker. Ich hatte ein Gericht von der Tageskarte, da alles andere unverhältnismäßig teuer war. Was ich daran dreist finde ist, dass wenn man auf die Speisekarte vor dem Restaurant schaut einem nur die Tagesgerichte mit den deutlich günstigeren Preisen gezeigt werden. Als das Essen dann ankam war ich enttäuscht. Der Reis hat fad geschmeckt und war etwas zerkocht. Der Tofu war in Ordnung, allerdings war kaum frisches Gemüse dabei und stattdessen eher diese Mini Maiskolben aus der Dose. Das ganze ist in Sojasauce geschwommen und hatte trotzdem wenig Geschmack oder Würze. Ich war enttäuscht und hatte das Gefühl für ein Gericht von der Tageskarte wurde sich keine Mühe gegeben. Vielleicht sind die von der regulären Karte besser (dafür allerdings unverhältnismäßig teuer). Das Gericht mit dem Hähnchen (auch von der Tageskarte) war wohl ganz lecker. Das kann ich allerdings nicht beurteilen, da ich es nicht probiert habe. Den "hausgemachten" Eistee fand ich nicht sehr lecker, da er viel zu süß war und ehrlich gesagt verdächtigt nach Lipton geschmeckt hat... Ich würde ehrlich gesagt nicht wieder kommen.

Super lecker das fasst es gut zusammen. Wir sind hingekommen, weil wir Lust auf Thailändisch hatten und der war der nächste. Wir mussten etwas warten bis die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde doch so haben wir alles auf einmal bestellt Sonst kam dann alles relativ schnell. Wir hatten zwei Vorspeisen und zwei Hauptgerichte. Und gegen unsere Erwartung (da so gewohnt) handelte es sich bei den Frühlingsrollen um selbstgemachte, frische Ware. Daher eine 10/10. Auch die Hauptspeise war unschlagbar. Ich hatte gebratene Nudeln mit Hühnchen und meine Begleitung Rindfleich mit Außternsoße. Beides sehr lecker! Ja etwas teuer aber gut! Die Portionen haben auch eine angemessene Größe Wir kommen wieder!!

Wir sind spontan Samstag Mittag essen gegangen. Das Restaurant war extrem voll. Wir wurden sehr lieb empfangen und durften bleiben. Es gab zwar eine relativ lange Wartezeit bis das Essen kam, aber das Warten hat sich gelohnt. Das Essen war frisch und sehr lecker. Der hauseigene Eistee war herausragend.

Von der Fußgängerzone aus super erreichbar, liegt dieser kleine Schatz etwas versteckt… Suvadee ist ein wirklich fantastisches Restaurant mit einem herzlichen Team! Nachdem ich es bei meinen Tischnachbarn gesehen habe, habe ich den Suvadee Teller, einen Vorspeisenmix bestellt. Auch die vielen Hauptspeisen sind einfach fantastisch. Wir hatten vier verschiedene und wirklich jedes einzelne war super lecker. Leider verlassen wir morgen Frankfurt, beim nächsten Mal kommen wir aber auf jeden Fall wider!

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit thailändischen Flair schön aus Holz. Liegt ruhig in der Passage drin. Man fühlt sich wohl. Das Essen ist super! Das Personal sind freundlich. Für ein schönen Abend zu zweit mit Freunden oder Familie. Wir kommen wieder.

A great authentic atmosphere and good food. The food is good but also just at the tipping point between okay and amazing. The quality definitely should not drop an inch and the ingredients should rather be promoted to the next quality level. Rice was not cooked on point. The staff is brilliant and so is the interior. Nevertheless food quality could be improved and taken back to previous heights.

A trendy Thai Restaurant in Frankfurt tucked away in Steinweg passage, very close to Hauptwache. Many young professionals came in for a quick Midday Meal as well as senior Frankfurt couples. I had asked the traditionally clad Thai waitress if they could spice up my order of Pork Moh Kratiam Prig Thai and it came as requested with additional thinly sliced Red Chillies. I look forward to going back to taste their Gaeng Kiuw Waan Bet (Ente/Duck in Green Curry).

Food ok, but extremely impolite service. We were still not sure what to order and the waitress mentioned that we should hurry up because they close soon (it was 20 and they close at 22). When we were about to pay 110€ for 3 people another waitress openly complained about the small tip. Really? Won’t come back and until the train their personal in order to be more friendly I do not recommend anyone to go there.
