This is one of the most recommendable African restaurant in Frankfurt. It is quite close or rather walking distance from the Frankfurt main station. And the prices are absolutely sir and affordable and the quality of food that you get it’s just outstanding. The meals are divided ok the menu by vegan or vegatarian and then different types of meat- so there is something for the whole family. You can sit indoor or outdoor and what I especially loved is that women run that place 😍The staff was incredible.

Sebeta is a great restaurant with african cousine. The place has seat inside and outside and the staff is extremely friendly. The food is extremely tasty and I can recommend to eat here between Monday and Thursday for lunch as they have a pretty affordable (under 10€) lunch buffet. Try the local “lemonade” and the pkates which are for sharing with others. I’m always happy to return :)

Surprisingly in very nice restaurants in a street which is not always appealing to everyone in Frankfurt. The place is decorated to give you a warm Ethiopian welcome while still being elegant and not overwhelming. The ladies running the place are so friendly and accommodating. The sharing meal is well tailored for European customers, particularly with the level of spiciness and the ability to eat from the same dish but separately. We tried the African beer with Pineapple. It is definitely refreshing and sweet.

Came for the Thursday Evening buffet and all the dishes tasted great! We were able to use the beMy Voucher - no issues. Can recommend 👌

We tried some Ethiopian beers here and honestly they were really nice. I liked how it was served in their traditional way. In terms of food, we had vegetarian starters which was good but very very oily. For the main course, I went with the vegetarian option again along with some ‘injera’. I think the platter that was served to me was very very basic and didn’t taste exotic. There were different types of unique vegetables that I absolutely don’t like e.g Beetroot. ‘Injera’ tasted good but again nothing great. Otherwise I think great ambiance and good service with friendly staffs.

Cosy restaurant with delicious food. Went on a Saturday evening and was surprisingly less crowded. Good service as well. Would love to visit again and recommend others too.

We just walked by the restaurant and spontaneously decided to check it out as the food looked interesting. We have never been to an African restaurant before but it was a divine dining experience. We tried the Sebeta menu for two persons and everything tasted great. In summary: Very friendly staff, cozy location and great food - definitely recommend!

Worth visiting and re-visiting Great menu with varied options and elucidative photos, and written in both German and English. Staff is also super friendly, speaking German and understanding English. They saw I was trying to connect to the internet, and offered right away to input the password on my phone (WiFi is quite fast). We opted for the menu which includes starter, degustation dish, and dessert, as we had never tried Ethiopian food. These menus can be shared with up to 4 people (with different portions and prices). Water comes as sparkling per default, so make sure to opt for the non sparkling one if you so desire. Food had great taste, portion was more than enough for both of us. My traveling partner can’t handle spicy food (though I love it), and after we asked the staff if food was spicy, we were kindly brought a spicy and a non spicy doses.. both versions were great it must be said. Pricing is also very reasonable for what you getting. You should definitely pay a visit if you are craving for different food.

The service was amazing and the women were very cordial. I asked for a non so spicy dish and it was modified and perfectly brought to the table. The ambiente was relaxing and the prices match the quality of the food, which comprises a generous portion and tasteful ingredients.

We find this place on google and went there hoping for a nice dinner. We were not disappointed. A very cozy place with a friendly service. I specially like the interior of the place. The food is also nice. I recommend it.

The restaurant is located near the central train station, making it convenient for a shortstop. Customer service was fast and friendly. I just wished they had better Injera.

I went with an African friend and he said that the food was not good. For me it was average.

Food was okay but not outstanding compared to other Ethiopian restaurants we’ve visited. Shiro Wot was disappointing. Service not overly friendly either.
