Sachsenhausen's Fine Bakery, a cappuccino and apple & walnut strudel cost only 5 euros (as of May 2017) which is very reasonable. Like a side walk cafe where the locals hang out. Love the small glass of water that comes with the cuppuccino though it is probably tap water!

I visited with my partner and were warmly welcomed by the staff 😄 We decided to stay, order, and were pleasantly surprised by the homely taste of the coffee and the delicious cake ☕ The overall experience was delightful, and we had a lovely time thanks to the warmly service provided.

Great cakes and friendly stuff. Cosy place for coffee in Sachsehausen. Some also speak Greek or Italian.

Very nice stop to taste something sweet. Everything we tried was delicious, service very attentive and we sat inside in a comfy couch. The only downside is that the coffee was really bad (burnt).

The cakes taste great (we had the standard one with almonds on top and the chocolate one which was our favourite) and costed us just under 10 euros. They are heavy, moist and the texture is quite nice. The best German cheesecake I've had so far! However, we would have spent more and rated this place 5 stars if it were not for the service. I was quite taken back by this, as I had never really experienced such rude service. I understand different cultures have different styles of customer service but I have not seen this from any place so far, even in Frankfurt. From the first "hallo" the server seemed annoyed at my presence. When I then asked for 2 iced coffees in addition to the cakes, the server then made a very obvious eye roll and sigh. At this point, we decided not to spend any more money there. We came 45 minutes before closing time so we didn't really understand the attitude, especially for the price. It was clear there was no willingness to serve me and we felt very unwelcome. We therefore went to Zeit fuer brot (less than a minute walk down) to buy coffee and there was a stark difference in customer service. I would thus recommend saving money for the other bakery instead where the food looked just as good, and the service was better.

Cool little shop with an excellent array of cakes and a good coffee selection. The apple cheesecake was a stunner! Service was great and everyone was very friendly.

This is not your regular cafe with WMF coffee machine, they do proper coffee and have some amazing cakes, quiche etc. And to top it off the service is amazing as well. Loved it!

Cute bakery with lots of different choices. We had a Schachtelbeeren tart, which was quite nice, however, we would prefer it a tad bit tangier. Of course, these are individual choices. Note: you will be required to pay cash, in case you make a purchase under 10€.

Amazing cafe in the heart of city, Schweizer strasse. Two ladies on the counter were very sweet and explained uma d recommended us the best cakes. there have a lot of variety of cakes decently priced. The cakes were flavorful and soft. Must try!!!

First time visitor to Frankfurt and wanted to try a local German bakery. This place turned out to be amazing! We ordered a cherry strudel and spinach quiche - both were outstanding, and so was the coffee. Alexandra was very friendly and helpful. She helped us with the parking meter since we were struggling with the instructions.
