This place is simply excellent, from the food to the decor, from the wine selection to the impeccable service, from the lovely location and terrace to the passion and dedication the staff puts into simply everything they do. It’s not just another Italian restaurant, it’s sophisticated without being pretentious and I have not yet found any other comparable place in the city so far. Ingredients are chosen carefully and cooked with love by highly educated as skilled professionals. The wine selection is refined and again not pretentious: you will be able to find non-mainstream producers, carefully chosen one by one, and for an absolutely fair price. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you are absolutely missing out: it’s the best thing has happened to the city in 2020!

Great experience! We hit the restaurant on the opening day. Lovely atmosphere, quality Italian kitchen (e.g. those guys have a separate mozzarella menu - amazing!!) and fantastic wine. Fair prices for advanced Italian food. We will go there definitely again (and again). All the best for your new restaurant!

Very delicious food and gentle italien service. Taste was good to very good, i.e. some dishes were excellent and others with minor flaws like little over salted. Pasta/ Ragu was absolutely delicious. Long wine list helps to pick the right one for you. Prices are okay.

So worth to visit! Reserve at least 3 hours to properly enjoy. The atmosphere is quite romantic and elegant. The food was very delicious. The service was kind. Menu is changing constantly which shows how they work on keeping the factor surprise with high quality standards. Recommended

Our favourite restaurant in Frankfurt, fantastic flavour experience, wonderful crew. Chef Massimo’s creativity is genuinely (and always) admirable, and Leris is simply a wonderful person who’s super kind, meticulous and welcoming. We never get bored with this lovely restaurant. It is such a precious and cosy hidden gem.

I've never given a bad review and had hoped this would be a new staple given its so close to where i live. The food was not bad, neither was the atmosphere of Tempaccio. However, the waitress we had was not only rude and waited more than 45 mins to ask us for our order but ultimately went ahead and charged us considerably more glasses of wine then we had. Not happy, I will not be back and will definetly not recommend...

Delicious food and vine and friendly staff! We had to suddenly (before our main course) run home as our baby woke up sick - and the restaurant packed our food and even gave us some complementary dessert - so kind and thoughtful! We will definitely come back and recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a great dinner out!

Coziest restaurant in town. Absolutely fabolous food and a wide selection of wines. Also, friendly staff always ready to help. Went there a couple of times now and was never dissapointed.

Very average restaurant with pretentious prices. Not recommended for the dinner. Prices on the receipt do not correspond to prices in the menu(!). Food: above average for Frankfurt, but nothing to justify the price tag above 30 eur per dish (circa eur 2-3 lower on menu than on receipt). Drinks: water Eur 8 for 0.7L and wine 14 euro per glass (13 in the menu). Wine was good, so no major complaints here. The price circa 40% higher than average in FFM. Ambience: in general ok. There are good ideas, and there are bad decisions. I would choose this experiment over a no-face german standard anytime. However, there is a lot left to be desired. Staff: compliments. All was great, with the exception of awkward waiting for the coats to be brought. I guess staff could tell to warn them to bring coats before leaving, as standing next to the door for 5 minutes waiting is not exactly a desirable experience. All in all, I would not recommend for dinner. Aperitivo - maybe. Norhing special, as opposed to marketing.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit – the food was delightful and the staff were warm and accommodating. However, I later realized that they had inadvertently missed serving my dessert, which was included in the menu. I realised when I got home :)

One of the best focaccias I ever had. The fantastic bread is homemade plus the cook is incredible friendly and kind.

Good atmosphere, good food and good drink

The food is very good, but very expensive. The restaurant is beautiful and very cozy. The service is great and the people that work there are lovely. They are very friendly to pets and even offer water to your dog.

We spent 2 hours here, maybe more, and everything from the first moment to the end was perfect. This is a small restaurant with a short menu, which is what I expect from a good restaurant. You know itself food is fresh, cooked with attention, you know you will get the service you ask for. The menu changes seasonally. This means, I will be back there one day!

Food excellent - Service rather poor. We had moments during our 4 course menu where neither food nor wine was on the table for 20+ minutes between courses. Very limited explanations on the wines and food, even after asking. Mixed up an order, etc.

Being an Italian living abroad I am always looking for a good restaurant where I can find a bit of my beloved country in Frankfurt. Well, Tempaccio simply feels home to me. I started ordered from them during COVID period and every time it was a new food experience. An wonderful one. Eventually when the COVID measures have been a bit relaxed, I could go at the restaurant and again the food quality was incredibly high, the ingredients were mixed in a really sophisticated way and the wine selection was just amazing. Moreover, they could accommodate my gluten intolerance by offering gluten free pasta. Something really difficult to find in Frankfurt, basically impossible. I can only recommend this place, Massimo and the staff will grant you a trip into the Italian culture and cuisine without even having to fly there :)

Amazing food as always!! Definitely my favourite restaurant in Frankfurt. The food is as amazing as it looks!
