We saw Des recently for the first time and she was fabulous! She allowed my little one time to get comfortable in the new environment and adapted her assessments quickly as he moved around the room. Des explained everything clearly, was informative and reassuring. She gave easy to follow instructions to do at home and it is evident she loves what she does. The clinic easy to find and parking was easy. I would highly recommend Ocean Kids Physio!

We had an appointment today for my 6 month old with Desiree and Nick! I was absolutely blown away with the information, support and knowledge shared during the appointment. As the initial appointment was an hour in length it allowed so much time for them to support my daughter in her development. Desiree is incredibly warm, insightful and kind and we are so glad we had the opportunity to work with her. Nick was also fantastic and together they were a great team! Very grateful to have found ocean kids, they are a fantastic organisation and worth every cent! Thank you so much! :)

We cannot rate Ocean Kids Physio more highly. From the wonderful reception staff to the fantastic Des, our experience was very positive. We were worried our 6 month old didn't have the same mobility and strength on one side, we were able to get an appointment quickly with Des and she confirmed our suspicions. She took her time with both us and our baby, showed us the imbalance and taught us how we could help him. Within days we saw a huge improvement. We're grateful to have found Des and Ocean Kids Physio and will be recommending her to everyone.

The physiotherapists are absolutely amazing at Ocean Kids. My son has been seeing Sarah and I could not recommend her enough. She knows her stuff and provides top quality care and compassion when treating my son. Sarah is very knowledgeable but also AMAZING with kids. My toddler really enjoys his interactive sessions. The assessments Sarah does with him have been so helpful that even the local nurses and pediatricians commend her on the findings she has with my son. I could not recommend this place enough.

Desirée is second to none; an expert in her field. She was able to provide us with much insight, and her home plans were so easy to follow as they were put together so well. The reception staff are also friendly, professional, and efficient. We don’t live anywhere near the clinic, but we’re happy to travel there to access the expertise and professionalism, and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

My son (4) and I had such a wonderful experience with Ocean Kids. Des was an amazing physio - she connected so well with my son, giving him the space he needed to warm up to the new environment. Des was playful, thoughtful and kind in her approach whilst also being extremely knowledgeable and supportive. My son and I didn’t want to leave the session, he had so much fun! On the way home he said “that physio appointment was marvelous mummy!”. The admin staff were also fantastic in listening to my concerns and passing on information before the session to Des. A huge heartfelt thank you to Des and the whole Ocean Kids team for the extremely important work you do!

Katie was amazing throughout my daughter’s treatment from two months old and even gave tips to aid her development along the way. Her support and kindness was so lovely. Highly recommend!

Des was absolutely amazing! She came highly recommended from a friend of mine and it was clear to see why throughout the appointment with my 10month old son. She was empathetic, understanding, very thorough and professional and was able to give us so many tips, exercises and pieces of advice specifically tailored to my sons needs that I can already see will be so helpful in his progression. Des has been absolutely wonderful with guiding us through my daughters development. Such a skilled and experienced Physio, but also so caring and understanding. She is amazing!

We have been attending Ocean Kids for years now, but finished an Intensive Program today..as always their professionalism, knowledge and fun attitude to the therapy they provide is of the highest standard! We travel an hour each way to see the team, and are so worth it! The gains my child has made from the Intensive program as well as her weekly sessions blows me away! I will be forever grateful for the team at Ocean Kids!!

Oceankids and especially Katie have been soo impressively amazing with my baby. The assistance through a NDIS application and communication with doctors has been so incredibly helpful. All the staff are so kind, bubbly and friendly. The results we have been able to achieve in a short space of time has amazed everyone in my sons life. The facilities are fantastic also.

My son had his first appointment with Alana at 3 months old back in December due to torticollis and severe plagiocephaly. 3.5 months later and we have avoided helmet therapy thanks to our positive experience in her care. Alana went above in beyond during our appointments and her knowledge and expertise is astounding. Not only is she amazing at what she does, she was always so gentle and loving with my son, you can just see how passionate she is. Thank you Alana and the Ocean Kids team x

We first saw Des when our daughter was around 6 months and she was absolutely incredible. Her knowledge around digestive issues and silent reflux was crucial and after our first visit we finally had answers along with the knowledge to help our daughter be comfortable. She was a totally different baby! Des was always warm and approachable. She celebrated each milestone with such authenticity. There’s no way we’d be where are today without those visits and whilst we’re glad to have graduated, she’s already missed! Ocean Kids were always welcoming and easy to communicate with and the at home exercise plans we were given were realistic and achievable for busy parents. I am nothing but grateful for the support i have received from Ocean Kids and specifically Nick. Nick has worked tirelessly with my now 5yo daughter from the age of 18mnths. She struggles with hypermobility but Nick always ensured the sessions were fun and at the same time tailored to what she needed. For a child who in the beginning failed to meet her milestones, walking late etc.....she is a bubbly, vivacious, confident little girl who enjoys lots of sport and physical activities. If it wasn't for the team at Ocean Kids who always reached out with additional appointments, passed on any concerns I had to Nick. A shout out to Hirumi as well who challenged Em during hydrotherapy sessions. Ocean kids, I am forever indebted to everything you have done for my little girl. Nick, your support was invaluable. The knowledge you have in your field and the care you have shown us was so appreciated. Working with the kinder as well to accommodate Ems needs was particularly invaluable. Highly recommended! We have been working with Desiree. My little one has a flat spot on one side of his head and in a matter of 2 weeks we have seen a massive improvement in his head shape. Not only has his head shape improved, his sensory skills have advanced with all the activities Desiree has provided for us to work with at home. Walked away from our second session today with confidence knowing we are making great improvements thanks to Desiree’s amazing work!

I couldn’t recommend Ocean Kids enough. My daughter had delayed gross motor skills and we were being looked after by Sarah. She was so welcoming and my daughter just adored her. Sarah provided us with constant support and techniques we could practice at home. All staff a so friendly and it’s such a positive experience from start to finish, especially when going through a stressful situation with my daughter.

Ocean kids had done absolute wonders for my son he has achieved and improved so much since starting here and Sarah is amazing with helping him achieve all his goals and even supporting me, highly recommend ocean kids!

Incredibly happy with service. My 3 month old daughter met with Desiree who was so gentle and caring towards her. Desiree took the time to engage with her first and made the physio sessions feel like play and fun. My daughter came home smiling, as did I.

This is such a wonderful facility. Everyone was lovely and said hello to us. We were booked with Liam who is great, my son had a ball with him and we got such amazing well rounded advice about my son physically and how to manage moving forward with his NDIS plan. Liam was lovely with my son and had such a great energy.

So eye opening & life changing. I am now able to unlock a major piece of my sons sensory puzzle that no other practitioner has been able to help me with. “Trust your gut feeling” as Liam the incredibly insightful & so good around kids physiotherapist told me. He just knows exactly how to connect with my son & when to give him space. I’m still processing my 2 yr olds sensory experience in this world & I very much look forward to this incredible team guiding me & my family through this. My family and I can not recommend the team at Ocean Kids enough! Katie was a lifesaver! My daughter was diagnosed with torticollis at 4 weeks of age. I’m a first time mum and was extremely anxious and stressed for my daughter. From the first meeting, Katie eased my worries and anxiety and put a plan into place! She gave me exercises, stretches and strategies to put into place at home. The level of commitment, compassion and trust was next level. I knew at each appointment, Katie listened to my concerns and eased my worries. She is an unbelievable paediatric physio. Thank you for all your hard work and commitment Katie. Great Physio, assisted us with resolving my daughters Plagiocephaly, Torticollis and support with her hip dysplasia treatment, and so much more. Most importantly, Katie was great to talk to for me and very reassuring that things would resolve, very informative in a way that I could easily understand what was required excercise wise, and was great with my daughter as well, she always seemed pretty comfortable with her which helped a lot especially with a lockdown baby who had not seen many other people. It was also really great we got a copy each time of the excercises and tips. I've got no doubt that going to Ocean Kids helped my daughter avoid any motor skill delays with being braces for hip dysplasia. We are very grateful. Also Casey was super lovely to deal with at the front end.

The physiotherapy is great. I think the payment system and telephone system could be improved and simplified.

There are no words to explain how much better I feel knowing here is in such good hands. Thanks to Nikita she is so friendly and always comes with idea. Also other staffs are great and they are ready to help you. I highly recommend here.

Thank you so much Des and Katie for running the wonderful Learn and Play sessions. The sessions were invaluable to me as a first time mum, during Covid. Your sessions were really encouraging and gave me great ideas to make play more diverse and purposeful. I loved that you both clearly love your job. Katie has been wonderful with my little girl. She has a flat head from her birth and after just one visit the exercises she gave me to do has improved her head and neck issue greatly! Still a ways to go but I am confident she will grow with a perfect head! :)
