Room was very nice and clean. The things that bother me was the very small bathroom. When you went to the toilet, your knees are against the wall in front of you. I’m 1,68 tall, but someone bigger than me should have a problem here. The same for the shower. The breakfast is basic. But when the fruitsalade was empty, they didn’t refilled it.

The hotel rooms needs a good cleaning, the floors needed vacuuming and the furniture dusting. The bed was comfortable and the linen clean. Thats why it was adequate.

Only stay here if you really have no other choice. Even though it’s close (+/-25 min) away from Phantasialand, you might consider booking another hotel and pay a bit more money. This hotel is not clean, not spacious and a bit shady. Also, if you consider coming to Germany know that you will probably leave every personal detail about you at a hotel or some other accommodation. They almost forgot to ask for your pin of your CC… I find it incredibly bureaucratic. Stay at home folks!!!!

Warm and welcoming staff who gave great directions and suggestions of how to get into Köln and restaurant options in the neighbourhood. The room although on the small side was clean and with an excellent use of space. Good for a family visit if you plan to be out and about all day. The snack machine was well stocked and there was an excellent breakfast buffet. The only downside was inadequate parking and because we were there during a festival the paid parking across the road charged €15 instead of the usual €3.

Hotel needs so much renovation, rooms not so clean, noisy in the night. Breakfast was also very cheap. B&B used to be much better before

You get what you pay for... Massively has improved with the 24hr reception, gives it a more secure feel and has kept nighttime noise to a minimum, a lot less that in the past. Comfortable rooms the only downsides to it are the 2 single duvets on a double bed, the room gets seriously hot (despite me turning the heating off before I left the room, the cleaner had turned it on to max so when I got back it was like a sauna) and the shower lacks any kind of power in the morning.

Don't expect too much. Staff is extremely unfriendly, the hotel is noisy and the beds are below sufficient. The rooms are extremely tight, but clean. The breakfast is too expensive. However, it is a good place to stay when visiting Phantasialand or when taking a break on your way to another destination; but don't stay for longer than one night. Luckily the price is very good so if you take a little drive to the Hauptstraße in Frechen for food/breakfast, you'll be fine.

Very tired and need of some love. The paint job on the ceiling was the worst I'd ever seen and the carpet was old and like sand paper. Fine if paying cheap prices, but it wasn't cheap

Excellent hotel. Easy to find, friendly staff and good amenities. What else is needed for a recharging resting on a long travel.

This is a Hotel focused on budget but its location just on the edge of freeway 1 and 4 makes it easy to go anywhere in Koln. It is focussed on guest with Cars.

Our family room had one double bed and two single beds at an upper level accessible via narrow stairs. It was comfortable for both the children and the adults. However, the bathroom was rather small, just about functional.

Recommended to stay here if you are in Cologne for Exhibitions like DMEXCO
