Really nice place with a pub feel. Good food od and ok ish prices... Over all 9/10

On the way to Austria we had to pick up a daughter from München airport. This town is next to the airport and has anice old centre with the burger place Effe & Gold. Worth a visit! Good vegan and vegetarian options. Large portions, reasonable price. We had two vegan versions and one vegetarian. Patties seem to be home made from beens, chickpeas or other good veggies. French fries were very good, sweet potato fries bit more fatty. Several beer options and eko soft drinks available. Service friendly, although they kept asking if we need to drink something more. Salad was huge, with lots of green and a bit too much dressing to my taste. Atmosphere good, music not too loud and plenty of space between the tables so you can actually hear what your friends say.

I had a vegetarian burger (with sweet potato pate) 🍔 and it was quite tasty. The staff who served us were friendly throughout our time there. I’d love to go back here anytime :)

When we went in, the restaurant was almost completely empty. Yet the waitress did not allow us to sit on a 4-person table and asked us to move to a 2-person table instead. Later we saw the same table 4-person was occupied by 2 people only. And I musy say that there was no "reserved" sign on it earlier. Why did she not allow us then..Is it becuse we were not White and the next 2 persons were? The food was ok btw.

Great food, beer and a really nice atmosphere with very helpful staff. Highly recommended if staying in Freising.
