Stayed overnight between flights. Very comfortable room with complimentary water/coffee/tea and tasty/extensive breakfast buffet. Very convenient access by public bus (1.80€ cash pp) that runs direct from airport to hotel every 20 mins. (Signage in airport to get to bus could have been better, but that’s airport’s issue.) Very reasonably priced (90€ end October.) Highly recommend.

Perfect hotel if you need something close to the airport. I landed in the late evening and knew I just needed to shower and sleep! Getting to the hotel from the airport is really straightforward. At the airport follow the signs to the buses which are downstairs near the shops. There is a sign for the Novotel bus which is bus 635. It's only 2 or 3 stops to depending on the time and was free. The room is great! Really spacious with a comfortable bed. Decent sized bathroom with lots of bench space for doing your make-up. Also plenty of lighting for doing your makeup. There's a variety of options for breakfast - the waffle machine is a standout! To travel into Munich from the Novotel catch the 635 to Besucherpark. Quick walk using the overpass to the S1 and S8 train station.

Very convenient hotel near the airport. Service was great. However , one specific waiter from the bar was incredibly ill-tempered and snappy. She began yelling and speaking rudely just because I raised my hand to signal I was ready to order..not an acceptable way to treat any guest.

One of the best places around MUC airport for a decent [early morning flight] room. Check-In works mostly well, restaurants at the lobby offer a broad variety of food and beverage. Of course, due to the high frequency of guests, the hotel rooms are sometimes a bit "over-used", which is perfectly fine for the price-level offered. Still clean and not noisy.

Novotel Munich Airport delivered a nostalgic experience - unfortunately in a negative sense. It took me four (4) phone calls to get my booking confirmation. The check-in process lasted an eternity, WiFi in the room was free but of poor quality. Right now I am chasing via multiple channels my invoice which was promised to be sent via email (I confirmed the right address and called them after 30 hours to remind them). I can recommend this only to visitors who have plenty of time and strong patience

Great place to stay before an early flight. Quiet , clean, friendly staff. We were surprised that there was also complementary coffee, tea and croissant in the morning in the lobby. Easy access by bus and taxi from the airport.

Stayed here 26.12.22, I didn't catch the gentleman's name who checked us in but let me tell you he was a godsend. I felt so unwell upon check-in and requested a room with a bath which he granted and he arranged a refreshment after kindly commenting how exhausted I appeared. Room was modern, super clean and close to the airport with a regular and reliable bus service operating. I'd definitely stay here again.

Such a disappointment! I could have stayed at other, less expensive hotels near the airport but I chose this one which was a bit more expensive because it had a 4.5 star rating. I was hoping for a comfortable stay. The staff was rude and condescending, most had an attitude and were not very helpful. The restaurant was closed and the only food available until 17:00 was from a vending machine, that only takes credit cards. There was only decaf coffee in the room and when I brought it to the front desk and asked for regular coffee they said they did not have any available. The transportation to or from the airport is a public bus only. The windows don’t open, the air doesn’t work. The restaurant staff were too busy talking amongst themselves to wait on tables and the food was terrible, it was pre made and not fresh. Why would anyone put black olives in chocolate mousse? A key is required to use the elevator which is a hassle if you are sharing a room with someone. There is an extra charge of you’d like breakfast included. Lastly, when I asked if they could possibly deliver coffee to the room (room service) since there was not any regular coffee packets available, the front desk lady said “no.” Not “sorry, let me see what I can do” or “I’m so sorry we do not offer that service” she just looked at me and said “no!”

The personnel were very helpful and kind. The rooms were perfect for spending a night on transit. Easy access even by bus from the airport. Unless u don't have cash for the bus, no need for a taxi. I missed more late night food/drink options than the ones available in the vending machines.

Very conveniently located near the airport, you can get there by bus from the airport and it costs about 1.80€ . The rooms are large, and the bed in my room had a very comfortable memory foam mattress. The room was very clean and the tv had mostly German programming, but there were a few English channels available. The staff at check-in was very helpful, an if you prepay the room there is fast check-out, you just drop you key card in a box at the exit.

My husband and I booked this hotel while visiting Munich for one night before flying to our final destination. We were able to check in early which was amazing after an 8 hour flight from the states. Location was also great, the train station is only a 7 minute walk which connects you to both the airport and the city center. The low rating comes from an incident that occurred during our stay. My husband was getting ready for bed when noticed several drops of dried BLOOD on his pillow case. We immediately called down stairs and no answer. We called 5 times before someone answered. The lady at the front desk wasn’t apologetic at all and told us to just use the other pillows in the closet. When my husband asked what do do with the pillow she said put it in the hall. We did that and went to grab the pillow from the closet and no pillows. We called again 5-6 times no answer. Upon checking out we noticed no one came for the pillow so it just sat in the hall all night. I told the situation to the girl at check out and it didn’t seem to phase her one bit. Bloody pillow was definitely gross and maybe us question all the linens but it was the lack of apologies and attentiveness that really took us by surprise.

Decent airport hotel with spacious rooms, good amenities including a sauna, steam room and fitness centre. It’s relatively close to the terminals but you should allow for enough time (20 mins) to get there. The actual travel time is far shorter but buses and trains do not always run that frequently. Breakfast was good but they make you pay first and refused to write it to the room for whatever reason. Overall a good experience and I’d stay here again.

Nice new and clean hotel close to the Munich Airport. Not overpriced like the others in the area. Everything was excellent. Probably you need a little bit bigger beds in rooms with 2 beds.

Stayed here while waiting for a delayed flight, check-in was very quick, rooms were clean and generally had no complaints. We were hungry at night and the food vending machines downstairs ended up being a lifesaver, the food in them was actually pretty decent too. In the morning the staff had some baked goods to go next to the coffee machine for those not having a full breakfast, which was a lovely touch :) as for transport there is a bus to the airport which comes just in-front of the hotel making everything easier.

It's a hotel, that is nowhere within walking distance to the airport.. yet somehow exudes a sense of walkability and convenience to it. Menu is basically salad or pasta, rooms are average, service is average.

The room is bid and comfortable. The view from the room was overseeing another part of the hotel (so no view). We stayed one night. It was relaxing. The bad side is that you need to take the bus from the airport to get to the hotel

Check in was quick and easy, our flight was cancelled so we were given a food voucher for dinner and breakfast by the airline, dinner buffet was good quality and I stuffed myself full. The pasta and strudel was particularly wonderful. My only issue was that we arrived at 10 and the dinner buffet closed at 1030. However, staff started packing food away around 1015 and closed at 1020 so was closed a little too early and we had to rush but luckily made it just in time. There is a coffee machine and vending machine with a microwave downstairs. Lift requires room key to get to room/floor and was a little finicky to use at first. There is a section for power banks so you can charge your phone, there is also free Wi-Fi which was quite fast. There is a bar (open until 12) and restaurant (kitchen open until 10.30) also beside the buffet. Room was big and clean, selection of tea and coffees available in the room (with more downstairs if needed) there was also a shoe shiner on our floor which was a nice touch. Check out is at 12 and simple to do (put your key in the box at reception). Hotel is extremely close to the airport so didn’t feel too panicked, there’s a bus and also a train to take you to the airport but we decided to walk as it was not too far.

the service here was horrible. We booked a room for 2 and the room given to us was had one bed that was super small. We decided to pull out the coach bed. Once we did we saw horrible yellow stained sheet that were wet and smelled awful. i called reception and asked if we could have new sheets and explained the situation, to where reception said we don’t have sheets and i was so shocked. i slept on the floor since there was nothing to do. Also an incident happened at the bar where i approached the lady working at the bar very nicely and said excuse me to catch her attention since she was on the phone. When a few minutes passed and she didn’t acknowledge me or say anything back and was still glued to her phone and said excuse me again thinking maybe she didnt hear me. she looked up at me with the most condescending glare and said i’m on the phone can’t you see that ?The bar was not busy at all i was the only person there. staff is rude and don’t want to help foreigners.

Best hotel by an airport. Amazing and comfy, lists of free goodies like coffee at the lobby, chocolates and water in the room. I come and stay here often since it is a great price near the airport and very clean place !

The room looked over used. Needed paint and flooring. The staff promised to go breakfast and the morning crew didn't know anything about it. The morning person was very rude. The dinner was unable to handle the amount of people at the hotel. Would nor stay here again.

Room is clean, we had a little difficulty finding the room as the receptionist write 1 that looks like 7. For example 278 of course we kept looking for the Room. It's should be written as 2l7. Anyway in US we wrote number one as lign straight down like this ( l) not like this (7)

Location is very accessible to the Airport. Room is beautiful and cozy. Receptionist is and Hotel Staffs are Friendly and accommodating.The only thing is the Air conditioner not functioning well. It cannot make the room cold enough. Except for this my entire Stay i enjoy it..

There was a heavily used/dirty soap bar in the shower. Only shampoo and conditioner was provided by the hotel - no body wash. Online, it said there was a shuttle that runs from the airport to the hotel every 30 minutes; usually this means the shuttle is provided by the hotel, but in this case it was a city bus that must be paid for - I would not call that a hotel shuttle. Everything else was average. The location was the reason I booked it, since I had to be at the airport early. The bus was scheduled for 3:53am, but came five minutes early and did not wait, so I suggest getting to the bus stop at least five minutes earlier than scheduled.

Rooms were good. Staff was friendly. Location is convenient to the airport. Only gripe I'd have is the restaurant has a robot bringing out the food which seems to wander around aimlessly instead of taking the food to the right place.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The staff member informed us of their amenities and what was provided in the room and what was free and cost. The hotel had the airport bus schedule listed in the lobby and how to buy bus/ train tickets. Easy to walk from the S-Bahn (10-15 minutes) to the hotel and can walk back to the S-Bahn. The airport bus stops right outside the hotel on the main street. The bus scheduled times and the walk to the S-bahn for us was about the same time. The room was modern and clean.

great location but not having a shuttle for an airport hotel is inconvenient with public transit being alternative. The room was way too hot and turning down the thermostat did nothing which meant no one in our family could sleep which made for a long travel day the next day.

Great place to stay if you have an early morning flight from Munich or you arrive late in the evening because it's close and well connected to the airport. Of course, it is quite far from the city centre so probably only a place for your first or last night on a Munich trip. Spacious, comfortable, and clean rooms. Service was just okay but it was quite busy when I stayed there. Got an very affordable rate when all other hotels charged really high prices because a big event was going on in the city. To get to the airport terminal you can either catch the bus right in front of the hotel or you can walk five minutes to the train stop and take the S-Bahn.

Great hotel adjacent to the airport. Nice restaurant with very attentive staff. The main restaurant was in use for a party, but they had a very nice buffet available with a chef preparing some fresh dishes as you waited. The price was “pay what you want”, which was great since we did not eat much. Rooms were modern and clean, though no USB outlets. Very quick access to the airport.

I stayed here to catch a morning flight at the airport. My room was spacious and comfortable. Good bed, good couch, good desk space. Only downside was there was not any shampoo or drinking cups in the room. The lobby has a restaurant and bar which both offer good food and drinks. I still enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.

Comfortable hotel, located about 10 minutes by bus from the airport. Room was clean and comfortable, though points off because the sheet had been tucked into the duvet rather than the bed so I had to spend a couple of minutes making up my bed before I could go to sleep!

Room was clean, comfortable and modern. The downside of the hotel was that for a traveller on a late night layover, there wasn't an operating restaurant at the hotel, and the vending machine for food in my opinion wasn't very good, not much selection. When booking I thought it was close enough to the airport you could walk, however not the case. There isn't an airport shuttle service so you have to pay for a cab or take a bus. Cab is most convenient, 5 min drive is 15 Euro. Restaurant only operates in the morning until 10am, then it's closed until 5 and until I'm assuming 9 or 10. After that if you want food, there is a Gas station 300 meters away you can walk to that has snacks. Most likely will just book the Hilton if I'm in a one night layover situation in Munich :).

Nice clean hotel room and bathroom. Located about a 5 min drive from the airport. Air-conditioning could have been a bit cooler in my opinion and a bin in the room would be useful rather than just a small bin in shower & toilet.

It's very close to the airport. So convenient for early flights. It's modern and the rooms are clean but it's really only it's location that justifies the high cost. Had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that. Evening meal was ok, but a very limited menu. For example, dessert choice was either cheesecake or ice cream and they didn't have any cheesecake.

Nice room, just on the small side for 3 people. The room was very clean. The couch bed was ready when we checked in. The bathroom was very clean. Layout is a little strange with the toilet in one room and tub/shower in another. I have some mobility issues and had a hard time getting in and out of the tub to use the shower. Trying to turn on the shower was strange too, but my grandkids had no issue with it. It was hard to keep a consistent temperature, at times the water would be warm, cold and hot. The breakfast was great, so many choices. Sausage, pancakes, eggs. Cereals, fresh fruit, cheese plate, bread, rolls,baked beans and hotdogs. I would stay here again. ❤️

Nice and clean hotel very close to the airport. All went very well, apart from a slight delay in the check in and check out process. I liked the room, very quiet and clean. Free water in the room also something nice.

A very good airport hotel. The room was very comfortable and the location was close... That said, cancelling the airport shuttle in order to be more green was frustrating especially when the local bus service was suspended due to road construction. When you don't know your way around a foreign city airport and you are tired, we ended up taking a taxi at a cost of 25Euro as we didn't want to figure out the train (1 stop) and have to walk with our luggage for 10 minutes to get to the hotel. We had the same problem to get back to the airport with all our luggage and calling for a taxi at 6:30am was stressful as other travellers wanted the same service. A much better solution would have been an electric shuttle van.

Avoid at all costs. There was nothing good about this hotel. The checkin is slow and the employees in the reception were not very service minded, but made you feel like you were a problem. The room smelled like sewage (from the shower). The breakfast opens first at six, and even though everything was ready and served at 05.50, but had me to wait until 06.00 sharp. Had to leave with the bus 06.13, so this cause some stress. Why? "You must understand that these are the rules". The price was also about three times higher than the standard warranted. This was my worst hotel experience in ten years.

Brief one night stay before flying the next morning. This was convenient as it is only 5 minutes by bus from airport . Pretty good facilities and room overall, helpful staffs . Breakfast was very good with extensive selection .

The rooms were clean and like any other hotel room. The restaurant below was good. The buffet is the way to go. They also offer free continental breakfast.

An absolutely wonderful experience with our family of 6. The attention to detail and the staffs willingness to help my husband and I with the needs of our 4 children was extraordinary. We had to wait for check in because we got to the hotel early and there was so much that was offered to help our family make the time go by quickly and comfortably. The dinner we had that evening was absolutely delicious and the rooms were spotless and so comfortable! All in all a perfect experience and that’s not normally the case when our large family stays in a hotel. No detail was left out! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Convenient, clean and roomy! Plus I enjoyed the complimentary goodies in the room. Very close to airport and public transport avail from hotel to airport and train station. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Hotel at Munich Airport. Much cheaper than the Hilton at the terminal, but not within walking distance. Room in the season in 200 EUR, parking with 28 EUR expensive. Positive, large, nice room, bar open until 24:00. Negative, nothing except the high additional costs for parking (24€) and breakfast (28€). Minibar complimentary for us.
