Thank you DR Sara Dobbs!!! I have been with DR Dobbs for my kids for last 12 years and never have to worry. I have recommended her to so many of my friends for their kids pediatrician. Dr Dobbs has been pediatrician for Daughter and Son. She is awasome. She is kind, compassionate, caring and helps us out all the time we have visited her. She would listen to parents concerns Big and small and would explain with clear and concise instructions. She would provide proper guidance if we are going to take international trips. South east Bay pediatric medical group have awasome team of doctors in case my primary pediatrician appointment is not available have visited DR Unson, Dr Ali, Dr Burke... Their nurse staff and admin staff is also kind and helpful Thank you SOUTH EAST BAY PEDIATRIC GROUP for being there for our kids when we need you !!!

They are still living in 1980s. Everything is paper based, you will not get anything electronically. You cannot even see the vaccinations records, if you want to. You will have to send email to Front Desk and they will charge you to pull up the records and send you the copy. Hard to believe that you need to pay for your own medical records which no one else charges. Front office staff is also not very friendly. You can ignore all of this if Doctors are good but to be very honest I just went through regular annual check-ups so cant rate the doctors just on the basis of that. Doctors were polite and gave time though. I am changing my provider for peace of mind.

Trying to get in touch with staff on the phone is a nightmare. The pediatrician we're seeing is actually quite nice, but it's just impossible to make an appointment by phone (and don't even get me started with their online system using 1990s technology). Here's what happens when you call: you're told you're third in line, and then second in line, and then first in line, and you wait half an hour and get sent to voicemail if you're lucky, and most of the time you just get hung up after waiting a total of 1+ hours. So is the insurance not paying enough for our visits?

This children’s pediatric center is the best! Been here since birth and feel like family. Doctors and nurses give great service and are very family friendly! Facility is very thoughtful of decoration. Wish we could be patients even after becoming adults!

Even after moving to Oakland we continue to come back to SEBPMG. Dr. Dobbs is so wonderful and always patient with our questions and concerns. The nursing staff are all great and clearly love kids. I love that they have urgent appointments on weekends - which we have had to use frequently. The lab staff are great with my girls when they are getting shots. My kids love that they get (sugar-free) lollipops and stickers afterward! We highly recommend this office and especially Dr. Dobbs.

I am only giving 3 stars due to the fact I actually like the pediatrician we have been visiting. Dr. Unson is very kind and understanding. He is thorough and answers any questions happily. My big issue with this office is their lack of professionalism at the front desk. The reception is rarely at their desks, it takes forever to speak with someone on the phone and they completely lack any kind of actual attentiveness. I have asked, specifically, at EVERY SINGLE visit for my phone number to be put as the preferred contact number. The father, who's insurance our daughter is under, works at night and sleeps during the day. Therefore, it is imperative that I receive the calls in order for someone to answer. Not only have they never changed this small detail, but have never called the fathers phone either. We have missed multiple appointments because they fail to send out reminders for appointments made months in advance. We have to pay a fee every time due to their negligence. We are done with this office and I refuse to continue allowing my daughter to be given care here. I have no idea if there is an online portal or not, as I have never been given such information. We have multiple children, both work and keep very busy schedules. It is difficult to keep up with all appointments and I have never been seen by any kind of doctor's office that does not give call or email reminders. Save your money.

Doctors are good, but front desk and office management is worst. Front desk is very harsh and rude in responding to queries. Considering technology world we are in, it’s still old school where office needs minimum of 4-5 business days or weeks to get requests fulfilled. It’s like office team has full control and authority and doctors just work for them.

Terrible experience with an appointment for my kids. It happened twice, so I couldn’t stop writing. It takes weeks to get an appointment for a simple medical check. Even after I explained why it's so important and urgent for us. They kept pushing it out, stating it takes 30 mins for each check-up and they are not available. In reality, the check-up didn’t last 7 mins. Every time you have a random doctor and always give the same excuse that we are under staffed. Even now they blame COViD for being busy when you call them.

The doctor group at south east bay pediatrics are very good. They provide emergency appoinments immediately upon request and provide weekend care too. We have been personally happy with our child’s care here

South East Bay Pediatrics is the best. Both my sister and I were patients here when we were children and now I am happy to have my son be a patient here as well. The doctors here are kind, detailed, and take the time to understand the child and explain concepts to parents. I highly recommend South East Bay Pediatrics to all parent!

Staff is always very warm and welcoming. My daughter is weary of getting her vaccines and I’m noticing her cry time after the shots are decreasing. Win for mom and child!

The doctors and nurses here are always super friendly. We absolutely adore Dr. Alpert. Having a great staff and environment makes going to the doctors less scary for my daughter. ;) All of my siblings take their children here, so South East Bay Pediatric Medical Group has become our family’s trusted source for medical treatment and advice. I would highly recommend South East Bay Pediatric to all parents, especially for new parents…you’ll be in great hands!

I love this place, they have nice fish and nice staff :D A pretty cool waiting room too with tigers and jungle animals on the walls. I feel very soothed being in the waiting room.

Dr. Madiwale was very thorough and understanding. She was patient and helped us understand what’s going on with my daughter.

The doctors are good but the front desk staffs are very difficult to deal with. Long hold times to schedule appointment. I was charged a no show fee for running 10 min late for an appointment. I have been made to wait close to 45 min on multiple occasions with no respite. When I confronted them saying why charge no show fee when they don't respect the appointment times and they said it's their policy and cannot do anything about the no show fee. Very poor attitude.

Very responsive doctors, Dr. Dobbs has been very patient and listens to all our concerns. She refers us to the best specialists when in need and follows through all queries. I would have given a 5 if there was a greater availability, currently appointments are 2 months away.

Terrible experience .We got an appointment for a simple medical check. our appointment was at 3:15, we arrive at 3 filled the forms and waited for an hour doctor never showed up. I went to the front desk told them that we our appointment time is 3:15 and now its 4 They kept telling me the doctor is busy with another patient and we walked away at 4:10. Worst Experience

Doctors are great but overall they need to work on scheduling. They ask you to checkin 15 mins before but don’t respect the appointment times. Here I am sitting in the room waiting for doc to show up, 1 hr past my appointment time.

This clinic uses equipment from 19th century, Doctors make patients wait for hours and they are not used to technology, it was very bad experience over all. I felt its not good to take my kid to this clinic after couple of visits.

Extremely crowded. Hard to get an appointment when you need. Docs are good but mostly on vacation when you want to line up your kid's appointment with their school/extra-curricular schedules. If you are not living close by, consider some other place. Front desk staff is rude and plays hardball.

Unprofessional I had asked to reschedule appointment for some personal urgency, they told to charge $50. All their policies will tell when someone try to cancel or reschedule and not while booking
