Mmmm came in on 2/19/24 Jonathan helped us. He was friendly and quick! Our food was hot and delicious. No Chanda, just a very harried gentleman. 2/10/24 Camille helped us and she is the bomb! Our food was hot and fresh! We tried some new things and they were all awesome! Came in this morning and Breanna got us seated. 1/19/24 super busy. Connor helped us today and was awesome! Our food was hot and fresh and the coffee and mocha espresso was the bomb! Had to see Chanda! Love her. We recommend the breakfast tacos, easy on the jalapeno's. And the ham and cheese crepes. Yum! Came in today, 12/21/23 Gabe helped us. He is the bomb! Got to see Chanda! Love her Our food was hot and fresh. It was very busy. We still got great service! Yum! Came in today 11/30/23 Melody helped us! She the bomb! Went in tonight, 11/15/202 Jonathan helped us, and everyone else in the whole restaurant. He was swamped but he still took care of everyone. The place was packed and the kitchen was running out of things. Jonathan was professional and very helpful. We appreciate him . 🔥🔥 Thanks Jonathan! 🔥🔥 Yum. Went in late last night! We are sorry it was so close to closing. Breanna took great care of us! We appreciate her. The food was awesome. Can't go wrong with French onion soup! Yum 🤤😋 First time there for me. Chanda was the bomb! She suggested yummy things that we tried. Everything was awesome! Mocha coffee, iced was so delicious 😋 We went there for the French onion soup. We were not disappointed! Yum 😋🤤 I had the half tuna melt. It was perfect! Everything was just so good. We will be back. We hope Chanda is there, she's the best! We highly recommend this awesome place and the awesome people that work there.

With this weather, I was looking for a place that served French Onion soup... and Mimi's came up when I Googled it. Unfortunately, it was not what I expected. My Caesar salad had more ríbs and even a piece of lettuce that looked spoiled, and little romaine. My French Onion soup had more cheese outside of the bowl than in it, and this small bowl was the large according to the menú. My son had better luck with his chicken entree. Neither his soda or my coffee was refilled once until i asked for more coffee. The place looks old and tired; the carpet was dirty and the bakery display was as unappetizing as could be. Not recommending, not returning.

Took the family out for breakfast on Sunday. We were seated in less than 5 minutes and we had our drink order taken in less then 5 minutes. 5 minutes later our food order was taken, it took about 8 to 10 minutes for our food order to come to our table. Food was very good, I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Portions we big enough, we left satisfied. The chicken and waffles we're very moist, I got 2 thumbs 👍up. I had the Philly dip sandwich 🥪 😋 and was very pleased and was filling. As you can see we didn't take home any leftovers.

Love this place. I'm a simple guy who loves French Onion soup, tomato basil soup, chicken pot pie or a delicious Caesar salad. Can't forget the Earl Grey tea. I'm so happy they're still in business in Fresno. Please Fresno ....continue to patronize these fine restaurants. More & more are closing for good.

Just a few minutes drive from our previous hotel. This diner is big and has plenty of seatings. They serve good looking muffin and their menu is also good. I've ordered corned beef with poached eggs, potatoes and toast. Perfect poached egg and I ate all my meal. The staffs are also very nice and our meal came out quick. I've seen a lot of family here. I wanna try the yummy looking s'mores muffin but I'm too full lol..next time.

The brownie cake was amazingly delicious, but the stewed meat was too salty.

I must say this fine eating establishment has been around for years. And to my dismay I have never visited it until recently when I was convinced to try it out by my cousin. I gladly accepted the invitation and was extremely surprised by the vast array of jovial atmosphere and appealing menu items The prices are fair. The food is awesome. I love the ambience and the atmosphere while sitting in the main dining room while enjoying this great dining experience. The wait staff and hostess are extremely friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place for a family gathering or a simple dining experience. The food is great and the wait is minimal. So all in all this turned out to be a great dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone that is wanting a hot filling home cooked meal at a fair price. Try it you will like it...I did. I look forward to many more dining experiences here. I intend to come here more often and let others know about what they are missing. Thanks again Mimi's for a wonderful lunch.

I really enjoyed Mimi's Cafe this time prior to the first time we went three years ago I vowed I would never go back and try them again but with insistence of my son we did. I was very happy with the service the quality of the food the portion size the overall experience was great. Big turnaround compared to my first time going there three years ago we'll be going back.

Slow service, took awhile to get seated, took awhile to order drinks and awhile to get our drinks. Took 15 min or more to take our food order then brought the wrong salad. My potatoes were burnt omelet looked like a child made it and food wasn't hot or flavorful then when we paid manager short changed me. Following day we have upset stomach and diarrhea. Wouldn't recommend this place or return very disappointed with this Valentines Day experience.

If you're looking for amazing comfort food while not breaking the bank in this economy, then Mimi's Cafe is your go-to place. My husband and I did the 3 course meals which we shared. The portions were sharable and delicious. We got the turkey and stuffing meal -- DELICIOUS! The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, and the music is soft and jazzy. The employees are helpful and sweet, always quick with refilling drinks.

Ordered the chefs special. Had to send back Pumpkin Perdue. Received stale bread. Opened up the pieces to find the pumpkin cream cheese. Maybe a teaspoon smeared into middle of bread. That's it looked like thinly spread butter. Nothing else no icing on top like their picture. So sad. Restaurant was not busy. By the time they got back with me my husband was done eating. Left there hungry.

I have always loved Mimis breakfasts and lunches and my husband says their eggs Benedict is the best he has tasted here in our city. Their ice tea is fresh brewed the way I like - not the soda fountain tea that some places have. Mimi's employees are always very polite and friendly. We enjoy great service and great food every time we go to this restaurant - which is several times a month.

Great breakfast! Had the corned beef hash and eggs and it was so good! The meat was superb. Service was really good and the coffee wasn’t bad either. I’d totally recommend this place to others to check out if in the area needing a good breakfast.

Upsetting. Food was gross and made me nauseous. Waiter ignored us the whole time even though I told him we’d be ordering dessert. Waste of time and money.

I'm excited to see there is still a Mimi's Cafe around. This place was super busy but we got amazing service & our food was out fast. I had the waitress pick my dinner plate as I couldnt decide, and it was a great surprise. The chicken pot pie was scrumptious.

We bought the holiday dinner with the turkey and ham for Thanksgiving and it was a hit with our family. We were very pleased with the quality of food and amount received. We had leftovers for several days. Made my Thanksgiving so easy.

Ordered the pancake platter with scrambled eggs and bacon and a coffee. Eggs and bacon were good but the portions were small, and the pancakes were very bland with a crispy exterior and soft interior. While I was provided with sufficient butter and syrup to drown my pancakes, it did not mask or improve the taste.

Always a pleasure. Steak Nd eggs always made perfectly. 5$ triple berry mimosas is a plus ! Whole visit lasted 30 minutes from sitting down to finishing the food . Can't complain when the food and service is amazingly good .

Went to breakfast with a good friend of mine and we were seated very quickly. Our waitress Trinity was excellent and did an amazing job even while being very busy. When my friend presented his dietary restrictions she was very helpful! Overall a great dining experience and highly recommend!

Service is excellent and food is so good! I recommend the jambalaya. Another suggests the corn chowder. The bread they serve you is nice, warm, and crunchy.

Food was mediocre. Service was not much better. Very slow service had to ask for drink refills. Took very long to get our food. All the food did not taste right. We are very disappointed

I had the Lunch Trio. The Tomato Bisque Soup was outstanding! The Caesar Salad was excellent! And the Grilled Chicken on Ciabatta bread was fresh and flavorful. The waiter was very good and friendly but he was overworked. He apologized for the wait but he was attentive to our needs. (One waiter for the entire room probably due to being short staffed. My only issue is that Hostess made us wait in the lobby for 10-15 minutes while we sat in a 3/4 empty restaurant. Then she sat us at an empty table right in front of us that had been empty the whole time. Unreal! I was not pleased. I would rather wait at the table. Overall very good food and good service.

Food is really good, service is not the best. Sat down at the bar. 6 people behind the bar and nobody greeted us. We had to go to the hostess to get seated

The restaurant is very current, they tend to decorate it for whatever upcoming holiday there is. Right now it's decorated for Halloween and fall. They have a cute backdrop set up in the lobby where you can take your own pictures. It kind of fills the time if you have to wait for a table! The service is okay, it could improve but it's not bad. It was a bit slow considering that they weren't that busy. We ordered and it took about 20-25 minutes for our order to come out. We had a Cobb salad which I highly recommend and a salad trio consisting of a cup of French onion soup, which was excellent, 1/2 ciabatta chicken sandwich which was pretty good and french fries which were Luke warm... Ugh really? The food takes that long and then the fries are subpar, not good. I also ordered iced tea which I gave back because it was old. I don't understand why restaurants keep iced tea and serve it the next day. They wouldn't do that with coffee yet it happens all the time with tea. Overall, it's a good place to eat they have great muffins too. Do they have room for improvement, yes but so do a lot of other places. Give them a try, and make your own decision.

What happened? I used to enjoy coming to eat here. Brought my mom for her birthday, and the service was terrible. I asked for a bread basket, got 4 slices of bread on a plate. I had to ask for drink refills, ask for straws. Asked for more bread, that request was ignored. They gave me the check, didn't ask if we wanted dessert or anything. The food was mediocre. The crust of my quiche was tough- the bottom, rubbery. The only person who deserves a tip is the staff clearing and cleaning tables. I saw them bring their A game. Won't be returning.

It’s pretty good for the price, I could go here for a date with someone I’ve been dating for a while or hangout with friends. It’s got an interesting selection of foods to choose from and I don’t think I’ve eaten something I haven’t at least liked. The breakfast food to the dinner food is all at least good. Service was also quick and friendly. 7/10

Service was excellent! Our order wasn't quite right, but we weren't Will ng to wait either. My wife ordered the quiche Florentine but was served the quiche Lorraine. I had a cup of the French onion soup (outstanding!) and the pot roast sandwich (fairly tough meat). Will try this place again and some other items.

First time here for breakfast with a friend. We arrived about 9:30 am and there were several people waiting to be seated. We were told it would be about 15-20 minutes. There were definitely empty tables, so it must have been a staffing issue that day??? We decided to go ahead and wait and were seated in about 10 minutes. The staff member who was relieving the hostess for her break was very accommodating when we asked to switch from a table to a booth and that was much appreciated. Our server came promptly and we placed our orders. It did take quite awhile to have cream for coffee brought to our table. It also took about 20 minutes for our food to arrive after we ordered. The food was ok but not on par with the price point. My potatoes were dry and cold. And eggs were nothing special. Portion size was okay. The restaurant is charming, staff was good, food ok, prices a bit high for breakfast ($16-$18) for French toast dishes. (About$14 for egg dishes)

Camille was our waitress for dinner and she was terrific!! She was cheerful, very careful with my husbands gluten free dinner, always making sure we were doing ok during our meal and friendly. The dinner was delicious and Camille made it even better. If I owned a business I’d hire her in a minute!! P.
