This
place
is
a
gem
hidden
in
Chinatown.
It
is
my
favorite
place
to
grab
breakfast
and
lunch.
It
makes
you
feel
at
home
and
the
informality
of
it
makes
it
really
special.
The
grill
sits
5
feet
away
from
you
and
“pops”
(that’s
what
regulars
call
him)
turns
around
and
asks
“do
you
want
an
egg
on
top?”.
My
fiancé
asked
me
where
I
wanted
to
eat
for
my
birthday,
I
said
Ho
Ho
Kafe.
“Momma”
(that’s
also
what
regulars
call
her)
is
the
sweetest
lady
and
her
children
are
really
attentive.
I
was
working
abroad
for
2
years,
came
back
and
she
remembered
me.
This
is
where
I
wanna
spend
my
money.
The
food
is
fantastic
and
inexpensive,
large
portions,
good
bang
for
the
buck.
People
criticize
the
dirtyness
and
that
the
walls
are
dirty
and
what
not.
If
you’re
looking
for
something
posh
this
is
not
the
spot.
If
you’re
looking
for
something
homey,
this
is
the
spot.
The
fridge
full
of
sodas,
veggies,
meats
and
random
stuff
give
it
a
unique
atmosphere
and
it’s
always
popping,
especially
on
weekends.
I
have
never
written
a
review
before,
this
is
my
first
and
probably
my
last.
Just
wanted
to
show
my
appreciation
for
what
this
place
means
to
me.
