So, some people think or say “it’s just a sandwich, I can make one at home!” But can you really? This is where places like the Berrock Shop come into play! Alright, so maybe it’s not the best place to get a sandwich (however, that solely depends on the person eating said sandwich) but I will strongly say that the Turkey Club I ordered is truly good (recommended by the lady at the front counter & a great suggestion it was) Bun was toasted perfectly for me, bacon was crunchy & not chewy, along with everything going together nicely. I could order this any day of the week & be perfectly happy! Well worth the visit if you have not tried this place out. Which I don’t know why it’s taken me this long, considering how long it’s been around. So all in all! Friendly quick service, place was clean, along with being in & out within a reasonable time frame!

This place has the best cheeseburger im all of Fresno. It was the most amazing handmade double cheeseburger I've ever had. Came as a combo and I devoured every bit of it.

Amazing first time will come again. Excellent food very savory. Came early in the morning was quiet and relaxing. But people did order a lot to go. Will recommend to friends and family. The berrock was amazing and first time having it!

First time here. Bought a burger it was delicious pricey but good. Pie was ok. Not the best. But on the other hand the rice pudding was delicious.

This post is a little overdue, but it's well deserved. I ordered mini pies for my wedding. They were a HUGE hit with my guests! The price for a wedding dessert with so many flavor options was unbeatable. They were all made fresh and ready early the day of as promised. We were so thankful we decided to go this route and highly recommend. (Lunch is just a fabulous; my go-to being a berrock with broccoli slaw. Yummy!)

Very good food and one of the only places in town to get fresh berrocks. Berrocks also available frozen in greater numbers. Restaurant is closed Mondays. Good family restaurant with home made tea.

Delicious comfort food! They have the absolute best Tuna melt. It literally is the perfect combination of sourdough, cheese and tuna. This place's food is sure to fill you up. It does get very busy around noon time, so make sure to place an order before hand. Totally recommend!

It's been a long time since I've honestly had an amazingly delicious sandwich 🥪 One of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time since I went to fresno City College. We ordered chicken pot pie, double cheese burger, tri tip sandwich, and turkey breast sandwich with a small Mac salad. Everything was good. The only complaint I would have is the tri tip aandwich. If it was a bit thicker like dog house grills, then it would be to die for, but other than that. No complaints. Also, you MUST ORDER the BBQ sauce on the side. The cheese burger is OMG delicious!!! For sure, I will be back for a second one if we are nearby!!! Must have. Besides that the workers are all very helpful and very nice and the atmosphere here is amazing! Feels homey and that's amazing! Forsure we will be back! Thank you for the amazing food and service! Always happy to help my local community!

Had the ground beef berrock, it was still as delicious as I remembered,( I haven't been here in a long time). My friend, who is from Chicago did not know what a Berrock was, really enjoyed her Combo meal of fries, a berrock and drink. They also have many other types of fillings like BBQ or Italian. I bought a half dozen to take home as they freeze well & makes an easy dinner.

This was my first time to eat here. The friend I was with has eaten here many times and she said that everything here is excellent! I had the BLT and the broccoli salad and both were absolutely perfect and delicious!

So pleasing for the first time... My aunt and I went back three days in a row. My aunt Susan told me about Bedrock's she had longer than 10 or 15 years ago. She said they were amazing people and had unforgettable menu. The Mac salad was delicious also. The pies oh my. So yummy. It was away to get back in tune with my aunt. We hadn't had that for sum years. Thank you Berrock family for being that place I got to rebond with her.

I tell anyone who will listen to come to this place. The fare is simple and straightforward, but uncompromising. The berrocks are of course the classic draw, but people who love a good fresh burger are doing themselves a disservice if they havent tried this place. The pies and deli sides are escellent. The french dip is amazing. And all of this at a price that hasn't been as marred by inflation as mcdonalds. The decor is old school, feels like a diner stepped out of the early 90s, but for me its part of the charm. Great place!

My adorable Mother-in-Law brings home food from The Berrock Shop just about every other week, so I'm very familiar with the food, especially the pot pies 🥧 (which are screaming btw), but i had never actually visited the restaurant in person. I finally did, last week, and it was a good experience. I guess i probably expected to see more German or Russian representation (or wherever the berrock originated), but it seems like a regular, normal american restaurant with kind, helpful people working and absolutely delicious food! I ordered the western burger 🍔 and just the patty by itself felt over a lb. The bun was the best part, it was "homemade" (just like their pot pies' crust) and was fluffily scrumptious. The fries 🍟 were okay, but then again, I'd probably like them better if i could still eat salt (my diet won't allow it), but i ate most of them without ketchup, which only can happen with GOOD fries. All in all, yes it's great, yes it's definitely worth the cheap prices they have, and yes i will be returning soon to try out the pulled pork or tritip sandwich. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place was so warm and filling. It gave me such a warm grandma's pot pie feeling. The atmosphere is a very relaxed, classic family restaurant. The chicken pot pie crust was freshly made, and the ingredients all tasted fresh, and well seasoned. I'm really looking forward to coming back to try some a beerock.

The wife and I usually order a low carb double burger, that is, everything there except the bun, with cheddar cheese. Few burger stops offer cheddar-mostly American. The burgers are big and hand pressed. When they say it will be ready in 15 minutes, they mean it. Staff is friendly and helpful. There were a couple of times we needed the food brought to the car and they did so with a smile. They have a great menu selection, homemade foods and good prices. Give them a try

Me and the wife stopped in for a western burger. Being our first time here, Brianna was kind enough to walk us through the menu and give her suggestions. Burger was decent, but we will be back to try other food here. The broccoli salad was amazing.

It was my first time visiting The Berrock Shop. I ordered 4 beerrocks, with ground beef and cabbage. They were delicious. I am definetly coming back, and ordering more delicoous food.

Quiet local eatery...my salad was excellent. The service was fast and friendly. I recommend finding this out of the way gem!

Such a great surprise to walk-in and try the most homemade tasting meal. We had beerrocks of all kinds and chicken pot pies to go. Great food and great service!

Berrock's was my mom's favorite when she was alive many moons ago!!! Always had them growing up so I had to stop and gets some because I wanted one of my grandsons I was out with try them, because I knew he never tasted one!! And Wow!!! He really liked them I got the ones that had hamburger meat and cabbage, those were only ones back in the days we had!!! Now they have other meat filled!!! They're Great!!!!

Food is good what they have others don't is a good variety of sides. Besides the traditional, they have broccoli salad (amazing and my favorite) pasta salad, green bean salad, potato salad, Waldorf salad, jello salad and a few others. The chicken pot pies are excellent for dine in or bake yourself. Don't forget the deserts, fresh cookies and personal fruit pies.

So good. Had the patty melt combo and I can easily say it was the best patty melt I have ever had. What a surprise. Their berrocks are wonderful and that's what they are known for, but now I am going to try every burger on the menu. Lucky for me there is a few to try! Nice people at the counter.
