The areas has great potential to be a new relaxing place to go in Berlin for walks-bike rides-boat trips-kayak-etc. the current development is too far to give a proper score to this place: people were living in the area as nomads, creating trash all around and the water was even contaminated. Once all the works will be finished - 4 years from now, I’ll give it 4 stars.

I really like walking or cycling around the bay and the Stralau peninsula. We always go for walks here regularly and it's crazy to see how everything has changed over the last 20-25 years. At one A place where you used to rarely see people, there is now always something going on and I have the impression that many people also use this route as a transit route (cyclists). Nevertheless, it is still a nice place in the city that makes you think you are on vacation and not in a city of 4 million people.

This place is particularly suitable if you want to feed ducks with small children 😊. It is also a wonderful jogging route, cycling route, inline route and a route for everything sporty. There is also a public toilet further back on Alt-Stralau. A little further along the bay there is also a small sports field that is great for bodyweight workouts. So far I have discovered three playgrounds, that doesn't mean anything, there can be more🀣. (All suitable for young and old). There are also good places for fishing. Even on a good day it's not that crowded, so come along. As always, I hope to have been of some help to you. Best regards, your Bremme alternative 😊πŸ’ͺπŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ

Not accessible: buildings in construction along the shores do not permit an easy access. Almost no place to stay (Aug 22).

Rummelsburger Bucht is a peaceful haven in the heart of the city. Its serene waterside setting and lush greenery provide a welcome escape from the urban hustle. While it may lack extensive amenities, it's an ideal spot for a leisurely day by the water or a relaxing picnic. Enjoy the tranquility! #DishtApproved

It was nice here before everything was built up here. Now there are hardly any trees, crazy cyclists and only houses and offices. It is impossible to find a parking space here. Not recommended for walks.

A beautiful environment, a good place to jog, rollerblade or just take a walk... The surrounding area is clean and well maintained with a few exceptions... There are also a few nice cafes and restaurants and you can even find a small pedal boat rental... Parking options are also available, but on some days you need a bit of luck... The whole thing is also very easy to reach by public transport... We always enjoy coming here...

Located not far from the urban neighborhood, Rummelsburger Bucht has more to offer than it initially appears to offer. Whether a simple walk along the green promenade or the starting point of a canoe tour, there are many other interesting spots in the nearby area. The former prison complex, a climbing hall, skate park, sailing schools, boat rental, city harbor, restaurants, clubs open on weekends and much more can be discovered here.

I enjoy the walks with and without my son.πŸ‘When I go alone, I sit on a bench and listen to music and a nice book. Man comes back down after the stress of everyday life.😊

You think you are by the sea, but you are in the middle of the city. Nice for a walk, especially at sunset.

I just drove through there and had to get out of the house, unfortunately it's just a shame to live there. I have to take advantage of the electric chair as long as I can drive it. I just drove a very large square around the puddle in the middle; -)
