The sculpture looks very good, great photo opportunity. It's really worth a look at sunset. Landmarks of the eastern part of the city, which can of course be seen even better by boat on the river. Unfortunately, we didn't get really close to the Molecule Man because construction work on the nearest bank blocked the view.

Belongs to the cityscape of Berlin! The story of the Molecule Men is also very beautiful, as is the implementation. The sunset in the evening is breathtaking

The Molecule Man statue is probably one of the most worth seeing in the corner. If you explore the city using public transport, I recommend driving to Treptower Park and walking from there to the Molecule Man. From there you can also easily walk to Kreuzberg and has an interesting route past many clubs and trendy shops.

The three figures called Molecule Man look really great. You can take great photos from the east, especially in the evening. Unfortunately there are no restaurants, bars or other seating options. Unfortunately, connection to public transport is not so good. Therefore, plan a good running route during your visit.

I most say not sure what I expected Artistic these Men/Men are very interesting and big, but besides that, it did not get me to a deeper thinking of anything The area is a bit borring. Lots of building and lots of construction and that's it. Would I recommend it? Well if you don't have anything else to do and are in the area

Sculpture by Borofsky, visible from afar. In summer with a bathing boat, shipping company and some nightlife clubs! Very popular! Also nice to walk and enjoy! Treptower Park S-Bahn station. The Treptowers, 2 towers are offices.

Trip to Alt Treptow / 08.2022: It's currently a labyrinth of construction fences if you want to walk along the Spee on the Oberbaumbrücke side to the Badeschiff behind the arena. Through constant detours you end up on Eichenstrasse. If we had known that, we would have walked straight along Hoffmannstrasse or Puschkinallee. The view of Molecule Man, with many cranes in the background, is only possible from cordoned off areas. The view of the Badeschiff is no longer possible, everything is locked and barricaded with high wooden walls. Admission is only possible with tickets (ordered in advance online). So it's worth just a walk along the Spree on the harbor side (behind the Treptower Park S train station.

As Jonathan Borofsky said: "Originally, I was fascinated by this molecule idea because of the simple fact that even though we appear to be quite solid, we are in fact composed of a molecule structure which, in itself is mostly composed of water and air" We are ourselves and at the same time part of everything.

Loved this sculpture! Although we saw it from really far away , with binoculars some one could say ,because it was a really cold day and we couldn’t stand walk more close .

I took the picture from the "Elsenbridge" or as my german taxman would say "Elsenbrücke". Nice 🙂👍 views. I saw people doing water paddle and kayaking in the river just beside the molecule man. 😲

A stunning piece of art that can be viewed from various focal points around the area. One of Berlin's most recognisable photo opportunities

A work of art worth seeing that beautifies the Spree. The three figures have risen 30 meters high into the Berlin sky since 1999.

Great view of an intriguing sculpture, but an odd location - just a bit of derelict land by the river. Interesting walk from there back to more central parts, through some interesting East Berlin areas. Sculpture is lovely in the evening light, and very "accessible". All in a great historical and modern city.

"Molecule Man" is a famous statue by Jonathan Borofsky. This work of art represents solidarity and connection between people. The figures linking their hands together symbolize human connection and the sense of unity, especially after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of the city. You can go by road to get close and observe the project, but it is not convenient by boat.

Cool statue, but there's a lot of construction on the west side of the river (where maps will direct you). I'd recommend going a little further north by "Twin Towers" at the end of Eichenstraße or moving to the east side of the river.

Not in a nice area, but if it is a sunny day definitively worth the visit. Impressive dancing statue floating on the water in the Spree river

Visited at night, the park near was closed due to some construction, drones are not welcome as I found out apparently. The area looked very sketchy, not good to walk around at night.

Very beautiful work of art, but extremely difficult to reach at the moment, as there are extensive construction sites blocking access both on the bridge and on both banks, from which you would have a view. I was just lucky that a construction site access road wasn't also blocked, which then ended directly at the 'Molecule Man' and made these pictures possible.

Molecule Man which was designed by American artist Jonathan Borofsky and in Borofsky's opinion, the holes represent "the molecules of all human beings coming together to create our existence." Great place to spend your weekends. Have a good time

One of the visiting cards of the city. Recommend for viewing from the water

  • 4/5 Senthilkumar S K. 3 years ago on Google
Interesting art. According to my friend: molecule man was temporary project which was a part of an art show or something. But since it was a huge hit, the authorities decided to keep it.

  • 5/5 Alex L. 5 years ago on Google
Very interesting sculpture on the Spree river. And the great view is opening from bridge near. The sculptures consist of three humans leaning towards each other, the bodies of which are filled with hundreds of holes, the holes representative of "the molecules of all human beings coming together to create our existence”. That’s great!
