Wide and beautiful beach but very steep and full of stones, which makes walking along the shore very difficult. There are areas with semi-sunken stones that can cause cuts or damage to the feet. The inclination of the entrance to the water, the stones and the resulting sinkhole, make it not a beach suitable for older people. But the worst of all, and the main reason why this is one of the dirtiest beaches I have ever seen, are the thousands and thousands of cigarette butts that are half buried on the beach. Of course the City Council does not do its job well.

This year I have seen the beach very dirty despite the cleaning they do daily. Smokers could be more careful and not throw their butts into the sand, that's what ashtray cones are for, but it is also true that we are not all the same, there are very respectful and clean people. Also say that it has difficulty entering the sea because of the inclination it has, especially for older people. The surveillance and lifeguards, like nowhere else, I congratulate the Fuengirola city council.

Totalmente recomendable para disfrutar de un buen baño y caminar por su paseo marítimo. La playa de las Gaviotas, situada junto al paseo Marítimo Rey de España de Fuengirola, conforma una espectacular imagen gracias a su extenso y vasto arenal de tonos oscuros. La zona está constituida en realidad por dos playas y su perfil es realmente pintoresco gracias a los numerosos muelles que se pueden encontrar en la zona, dibujando la imagen de pequeños arcos por todo lo largo de la orilla del mar. Su extensión es de unos 1.200 metros de largo y 40 metros de ancho. Se trata de una playa urbana que cuenta con paseo marítimo y, además, ha sido galardonada con la Bandera Azul 2021. Sus aguas son generalmente muy tranquilas, por lo que se trata de un espacio muy familiar.

Wooden walkways, showers, umbrella and hammock rental area, children's play area. Along the promenade there are numerous bars and shops, both selling food and bathroom items, gifts and souvenirs.

Playa de arena relativamente fina, de aguas tranquilas perfecta para estar con niños. La parte negativa, y para que el ayuntamiento tome las medidas necesarias (como en otras muchas playas) es que hay tantas colillas de cigarros como conchas. Muy desagradable ver cómo los niños las cogen. Punto negativo (y mucho) por este motivo, punto negativo (y mucho más) para los fumadores que no son capaces de recoger sus propias colillas. Aún con estas dos estrellas me gustaría volver en próximas vacaciones.

The sea is usually calm and the days I went it was quite clean, the only drawback I have is that in some areas at the entrance there is a large "step" with pebbles that can be uncomfortable or dangerous for older people. Still it is a great beach.

Bonita y cuidada playa en Los Boliches. Con variedad de chiringuitos, socorristas y servicio de tumbonas. El agua suele estar limpia. Ideal para familias. Generalmente, el agua está tranquila y las olas son pequeñas, lo que permite practicar bastantes deportes acuáticos. En julio y agosto suele estar muy concurrido, aunque la playa es grande y no sientes sensación de agobio.

Excelente playa.. con poca gente y un montón de buenos y preciosos sitios en los que comer
