2021年のGWに訪問。巨大露天風呂で有名なあのお宿！初宿泊です。ロビーは洗練されたお洒落空間でした。囲炉裏もあり、その周辺でくつろげるようになっています。フリードリンク等もあり、夕食後に甘めのロゼワイン等もいただきました。
まずは、貸切風呂の薬師の湯を予約して入りましたが、この露天は素晴らしかったですね～♪白濁硫黄泉。濃い硫黄臭漂いますが、お湯は柔らかい感じ、湯温も少し熱めで最高に気持ちよかったです。
夕飯は炉端焼きですが、食材も豪華で、福島の地酒と一緒に堪能出来ました！
さてその後、お腹が落ち着いてから大浴場に行きました。浴場の窓が開けっぱなしなのでお湯に浸かってないと結構寒いです。
薬師の湯に比べると、ちょっとぬるい？サイズ的にはたいして変わらない感じだとは思うんですが。寒かったので有名な大気の湯は、翌朝に行ってきました。個人的にデカ過ぎる露天は、そこまで好きではないんですが、ご多分に漏れずあまり好きにはなれませんでした。まずプールの足洗場程度の深さしかない露天入口付近のお湯は澱んでる感じがして、繋がってるかと思うと奥の広々とした露天に居ても、なんとなく、”う～ん”という感じ。ただ、幸い誰も居らず、一人での入浴。広大な露天に一人で入ってると贅沢な感じはしましたね。
高湯はそれほど源泉の湯温が高くないのかな～？個人的には、こじんまりとした少し狭い浴槽で入るのがベターな気がしました。
