Lovely place near the sea front , pizza was great . Vodka is a little dearer than some places but a good size . Service good and quick when the place was busy

Fun location on the Lido Promenade for tasty pizza and salad. Since we'd already had drinks at lunch and an afternoon cocktail, we chose bottles of water with our meal. The waiter brought wee shots of Poncha and I have to say it was quite good. I've tried quite a few on the island and they vary from very good to less than desirable. I'd recommend theirs and would order it next time. The mixed salad had lots of variety and was large enough to share. After walking more than a dozen miles, we were starving and each ordered a small pizza, but realized we could've shared one or even a medium size. Great crust and tasty toppings. Fantastic water views and a perfect outside spot for people watching. I'd recommend this local favorite. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5 stars

On a warm day/evening there's a nice outdoor seating area on the sidewalk overlooking the sea. There is another outdoor covered area and a further one inside. It isn't plush though, so there's no need to 'dress for dinner'. After seeing one arrive at the table next to us we decided to order a pizza and opted to share a half and half one. A great idea where you can choose 2 different toppings and charged the price of what the most expensive one would have been. Alongside this we had a mixed salad. Both of these were generous in their portion sizes and tasted great. Definitely be back when we next visit Madeira!

The views are fantastic at sunset. It was basically next door to our hotel, so it was an occasional choice of dinner venue. So we just walked in. Service is fast and friendly. Food is no thrills. A regular fair you get in any other restaurant on the coast. I had scabbard fish with white wine & garlic sauce. Good home-food dish.

We discovered the place by accident from the top of the Sightseeing bus this afternoon and decided that we're going to have pizza here tonight. The service was professional and very welcoming. The pizzas were delicious. Lovely, lively atmosphere, all the locals meets in here.

Visited Papa Manuel Pizzeria last night. While I understand some folks love an abundance of cheese, I found the pizzas to be overwhelmingly cheesy, making them hard to enjoy fully. The ambiance was quite noisy too, making conversation a tad difficult. On the brighter side, the passion fruit pudding for dessert was truly a delightful experience. Worth trying if you're there!

Lasagna was not that good. Tasteless green pasta with bolognese sauce nothing special topped with loads of cheese. Nothing to do with authentic lasagna. Nice sea view!

Tried Camarao pizza with shrimps and seafood cocktail two times and it was great. But the third one was with dry dough, small shrimps, lack of sauce and overcooked. It’s better to keep high standards

Very lovely service. Waiter paid nicely attention to my child. Food was good and service quick although there were many customers.

We've eaten here 3 times now, once for lunch and twice in the evening. There are seats both inside and out and these have a good view out to sea and with a lovely sunset if you time it right. The food is always of good quality and generous portions. Great value. The staff are friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be visiting again.

The pizzas we ordered were really delicious, the service is fast and friendly. We have had sangria alongside, which was fresh as well. They even provided local cocktail and a snack for free. I can recommend if you would like to have nice pizzas in the region.

The food was good, but the service was a little bit slow. They have food all day, this is a plus since almost all restaurants nearby are closed. The sangria with vino verde is a must here 🔥

I had delicious pasta called Macaroni Caruso. Fish dishes were very good, too. Friendly staff and a nice view of the bay. Perfect home-made desserts and coffee. We had a tiramisu and a cheesecake, both delicious. They offer a wide range of meals - soups, starters, pizza, pasta, meat and fish but also vegetarian dishes. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food was amazing, staff were incredible. Our waiter gave us a warning that most tourists don't like a specific fish on the menu, and gave us the opportunity to try a bit before ordering. Then gave us local recommendations for where to find more when we loved it!

We came here twice and might go once again before we leave! It’s a gem for tasty food, beautiful views, and quick service! It’s not a fancy place, very casual and suits those nights you don’t want to dress up, just have some good food and head home. The price is extremely reasonable! I had bruschetta the first time in Madeiran garlic bread - divine! For dinner, I had the vegetarian burger with chips, and you could taste it was all homemade. Madeira so serve burgers bun-less so I got a garlic bread and constructed it myself 😊

Had to wait a good hour for the food. As we found out, we would even forget. In the end when the food came got my vegetarian dish but unfortunately the wrong one. From the backdrop it's quite noisy and crowded. At the table you could hardly talk to your friends because of the volume.

We arrived for a late dinner, around 8.45pm. The staff were very attentive. The food came out quickly and tasted great, portion sizes were good too. The desserts are homemade - the tiramisu was delicious. Waterfront location is really nice.

Very nice restaurant with a beautiful view at the sea. As a „greeting“ you get poncha and some olives. We ordered a pizza to share. The restaurant offers the opportunity that you can choose 2 different pizza choices on one pizza and you have to pay the expensive one. Pizza was good for a none Italien country. They also offer salad, pasta and risotto on the menu. Prices are a little bit high but we believe you also pay for the view. Service was very friendly.

Wasn't too impressed with the Pizza from here. I asked for the sizes, and they recommended me a medium, but I was hungry and opted for the large (22~ Euros). They didn't ask me if I wanted a thin or thick base. The pizza looked ok, but considering it was sold primarily as a meat pizza, I was surprised when I couldn't taste anything but onions. Underneath the cheese, it was covered in onions, edge to edge. The tomato sauce was extremely watery which left it almost tasteless and the pizza was super thin, I was barely satiated by the time I finished it.

Unfriendly waiter. I noticed white costumers got complimentary aperitif. I did not. Maybe racist maybe lazy. Either way not worth it.

Friendly but slow service, pizzas were pretty poor, with a biscuity chewy base. The home prepared dishes looked much better. Madeira garlic bread delicious. Nice location. Reasonable pricing

I really cannot understand all the good reviews... the pizza dough was really strange, really tough, chewy and not at all like pizza dough's supposed to be. The waiters did not really show much enthusiasm and appeared to be quite lost among the many costumers. The location is really great though and if you're only going for a quick bite, go for it! For a nice dinner it was rather disappointing.
