The
New
Beirut
Cellar,
exceeded
our
expectation.
The
decoration
is
lush,
the
service
is
outstanding,
service
is
fast,
and
the
food
is
very
good
and
well
presented.
The
downs:
The
place
starts
to
smell
when
overcrowded,
as
there
are
no
windows
inside,
and
bad
aeration.
The
menu
is
way
overpriced,
it
should
be
33
to
50%
cheaper,
compared
to
the
top
restaurants
and
competitors
in
country
in
deep
crisis.
(A
starter
of
makanek
is
18$,
nachos
and
cheese
are
18$!
15$+
for
a
salad,
20$
for
a
simple
burger…
crazy
prices.).
The
food
is
good,
but
not
worth
the
price.
The
burger
was
good,
but
lacked
of
spices
and
character.
The
fries
are
frozen,
not
home
made.
The
green
salad
is
not
attractive,
and
its
sauce
lacks
of
taste.
The
veal
escalope
is
amazing,
the
sweet
chili
calamari
is
amazing,
the
nachos
are
ace!
Will
try
more
next
time.
As
the
place
is
new
and
buzzing,
it
is
always
packed,
i
am
scared
that
because
of
their
ridiculous
prices,
when
the
buzz
wears
off,
people
will
be
coming
less
and
less.
Even
rich
people
can
smell
when
a
restaurant
is
overpriced.
