This is a great value, professional spa in the heart of Galle Fort. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage for $25 from Sadamali who was very nice, competent and effective. The spa was quite busy but managed to fit me in when I turned up on spec. mid afternoon. This is not a high end spa (who would charge $60-$70 or more) but is very respectable and is recommended.

In short, the full body massage wasn't nice. Don't go by the reviews, probably fake. I'm in the spa as I write, waiting for the rain to stop. The therapist was not trained at all, didn't have a clue what he was doing. Had booked a 90 min, cut it down to 45 mins. Went to the reception and politely told the manager that this is just feedback from a customer, he became defensive and started saying the therapist is the best they have. I also didn't say anything in front of potential customers, don't want to take away the business or cause a ruckus. When I told him I have gotten massages in several countries and the therapist has no clue about which muscle is which, he just said ok and we're sorry and felt like he had been caught. I mean, if you're providing a service, at least try your best. It's not the therapist's fault who was very kind but the owner's who is almost making a fool out of people who maybe don't know what real massages are. A massage therapist knows which muscle to press and for how long, it's important for stress release and to avoid any injury. Anyway, bad experience overall, rain has gotten worse, hopefully people read this review before going here.

Stumbled upon this place by mistake and I am glad I did! The owner was friendly and wonderful at massage techniques. I had a foot and head massage and it was just amazing and really relaxing after a long day of waking .. The place is clean, hygienic , value for money and a must must do when in Galle!

When choosing a massage parlour, you have to be careful and make sure you only aim for the most upscale of establishments with certified massage therapists. There are plenty of low-quality and downright seedy options that offer very little in the way of a real massage. However, if you are trying to find a legitimate massage, I would highly recommend - “Aruliya Care Spa” in Galle Fort. This is good if you’re experiencing muscle pain due to your job, lifestyle or even sporting injuries.

I went there with my husband. I had a full body massage (60 min). My husband had neck, shoulder and back massage (60min). I was satisfied with my massage, although I didn’t expect a coconut oil to be put on my hair (head massage). So the hair looked very greasy after the massage. My husband was told that he could leave his short pants on. After the massage his new pants had large oil stains. We had to go back to the hotel unplanted, wash the pants etc. Summary: The massage itself was good and relaxing, but the preparation by the staff at the Aryliya is insufficient and even unprofessional. Still good massage for a low price. UPD: The stains are after washing still there. So the pants are destroyed.

worst massage I have ever had. The staff here are definitely not trained in massage. It was not relaxing at all, and was not a full body massage. It was also not a full 90 minutes. The beds dont have holes in them for your face so very uncomfortable when lying on your stomach. I would avoid and pay more for a proper massage elsewhere in Galle Fort.

After Reflexology foot therapy, my shoulder pain go off… It was just amazing. Genuine service, professional staff and reasonable rates. I Highly recommend Aruliya care wellness center.

Felt uncomfortable the whole time. There was a visible camera I had to ask an employee to cover, I was later told it was "broken" still and inappropriate place to have a camera even if true. There wasn't any privacy in the facility when getting the massage or when getting changed before the massage, a man also walked through the back door half way through my massage, No curtain between the back door and my massage table. I asked for a 90min deep tissue massage and got more of a rub with a lot of oil, which for some reason included a tummy rub? The oil was later wiped off with paper like tissues. The bed was not comfortable. I had to readjust the towel myself at times as I was left pretty exposed at times and felt very uncomfortable considering the layout and the camera.

Highly recommend experiencing the Shirodhara and foot reflexology massage at this fantastic spa. It offers excellent value, and the therapist is incredibly kind and patient, addressing all our queries and providing helpful home remedy recommendations. Despite the less-than-impressive appearance of the place, the treatment and the team made it an outstanding experience.

The man who is doing massages, is a real expert. He knows what he does. I had very much tension in my neck and shoulders, and after his treatment it’s gone. He did not only shoulders but also feet because it connects with shoulders. The interieur could be a bit better but the treatment is really good 👍

Very nice small massage place. The place is not super clean, but the massage quality is very high and the traditional Marma massage is one of the best massages I've ever had. Very recommendable.

Incredible massage, Malika did a really thorough back, neck, head and shoulder massage and even also did my feet during the 60 minutes. We started a little early so I think it was more like 70 minutes, I feel amazing afterwards, will definitely go back!

Deep tissue massage was not up to expectations in Sri Lanka. Atmosphere could be improved without water fountain and music was not relaxing enough. Not the best value for money we have tried in Sri Lanka.

I had a great deep tissue full body massage! It felt more like I am at a Physiotherapy than at a „normal“ massage. The effect was great and it was obvious that the masseur really new what he is doing and was able to explain me the shoulder and neck problems I had. I will definitely go there again:) The reason why I only gave 4 stars is that the cabins were only separated by a curtain. Normally I don’t care about that but the two customers in the cabin next to me finished their massage earlier than me and they were really loud. This was not so nice because then my relaxing mood was interrupted.
