Turtle Hotspot

Tourist attraction

😠 do not pay money to anyone. It's open for public. Some bad guys ask foreigners for money. And there is no turtle in this spot. Google should cancel this spot. But this is a good view point for sunset. People often mention turtles,

Havent seen any turtles when we visited, but the ocean view from here is marvelous. During daytime very sunny and hot here with no shade nearby. So its quite deserted with not much visitors. Bring along a unbrella to spend sometime here enjoying the spot.

Huge turtles swim here. You can buy sea grass from the local guys and feed the turtles.

I read lots of reviews and went there by myself yesterday. The seaturtles were fed with seaweed from the locals, and they also sold it to tourists. A few tourists tried touching them, but it seemed to me that they dont mind as long as its no pushing etc, but I really dont know anything about turtles… So I think it is nice to go if you have never seen a sea turtle like me before, we did not have to pay anything and kindly turned down the offers of the locals.

A great place to see the turtles! We came from Mirissa and we had barely seen one and here we have seen up to three! It is true that you have to be very attentive because the shell is the same color as the rocks and they camouflage very well, but a friendly local gentleman helped us locate them and also warned us about a scammer who was lurking around us.

You can see the turtles when they come out to breathe. You have to be very attentive to see them.

Great freely accessible place to see turtles in the open sea. You have to look closely because they are of course well camouflaged. We probably saw a turtle 8-10 times. Definitely worth seeing.
