Great stay from beginning to the end. We were looking for a quiet place and reconnect with nature and this place exceeded our expectations! We had a room at the upper floor, we woke up with all kind of birds, monkeys, peacocks.. just right in front of us. The service was impeccable, always asking if we need anything, always there when we needed - all with a genuine smile - being able to also enjoy the pools and beach at their nearby lighthouse branch was also a super cool treat so we got the best of both worlds: jungle boutique resort and beachfront luxury experience!

This is a lovely hotel that we stayed in for the weekend. It's clean and quite spacious. The pool is one of the best I've ever used. It was very clean and the location was amazing. The breakfast was quite delicious too.

Lovely place. This was my second stay of 3 nights in the Villa #1 (one with the private plunge pool). I loved my first stay so much that I simply had to return, within a few weeks with my partner in tow; we stayed for another 3 nights! The hospitality of Sameera and his team (Asanka, Gayan and Shantha - thank you very much!) is exceptional. The team is small and yet they run a tight ship- always attentive, yet unintrusive to their guests. This is a beautiful place nestled amongst lush greenery and a paddy field. It is an ideal environment to connect with nature. We had monkeys in the treetops just outside our dwelling, kingfishers, waterhens, egrets and various other tropical birds, tree frogs and chipmunks. We also had a visit from a peacock on our final evening! Do note: this is a place for those seeking tranquility, therefore, not a place for those looking to indulge in loud group resort-style holidays or loud music. Ideal for solo travellers or for a couple who value nature. Visitors should respect the natural environment, and the team that work hard to sustain this incredible experience. Food wise, there is a selection in-house; as Kurulubedda is a part of the Jetwing group, meals are also available at the nearby Lighthouse Hotel (walking distance). Kurulubedda is also a short tuk journey away from the Galle town, Galle Dutch Fort etc. I am already planning my return to this magical place!

Wonderful place to relax with your partner and great place for honeymoon couples. Highly recommended. Food was very delicious and great potion. Very friendly staff and they gave great service. Very nature friendly place to relax with your loved ones.

The experience was okay. I will start with the negatives first. The property is situated in a corner of a byroad, which is not visitor-friendly. Once you enter the property, you can see some of the nearby houses. The height of the boundary wall could have been increased to provide some sort of barrier to cover those houses. Also you can here noices made by people around and dogs. However, the rest of the property is fine. I spent my days in Villa 1. When you are in the water closet area with the lights on at night, you can be seen by anyone in the car park. Since the rooms are covered with glass, you have to pull down the blinds. Sometimes there is a gap between the blinds, and the room is not always perfectly covered. This can be a cause for concern, as you may be spotted by the staff or visitors from the next villa. On the second morning of our stay, we received our breakfast at around 10 a.m., which was supposed to be at 9 a.m. Apart from these issues, all of the other experiences were superb, especially the customer service. Not as expected. There are only 6 rooms available. 2 with inner pool and 4 normal rooms. Rooms are spacious and clean. But the hotel surrounding is not good as expected. There is a pool with a small paddy field in front of the rooms and a 50m walking path. That’s it. Total hotel can be covered within 10 minutes. No gym or spa. They don’t even have a kitchen to prepare food. If you book for a full board, your food will be delivered from Jetwing lighthouse. Or you can go to jetwing lighthouse to have your food. Overall, not up to jetwing’s standards

It's a solo friendly hotel. I had a very relaxed time there. Food, location, staff (special thanks to Mr. Sameera), cleanliness and privacy were excellent. They provide facilities to dine at Jetwing Lighthouse too. Spa facility is available at the Lighthouse hotel. Travelling between 2 hotels was not a big trouble as both are close by.

Absolutely loved our stay there. The place quiet and relaxing, and it is the perfect getaway from the bustling city. If you want to relax and unwind, surrounded by trees, in peace, then this is the perfect place! The villa with the plunge pool was very well maintained. Superb service by the staff - very friendly and helpful. We had our lunches and dinners served to the villa, and for breakfast (buffet) we decided to go to Jetwing Lighthouse.

We had such an amazing time at Jetwing Kurulubedda. We had dinner at a treehouse and a boat safari. Our villa had a separate private pool. The food is delicious and the staff is so down to earth. Guys visit this place. They will welcome you with open arms and you are going to enjoy yourself.

We had a wonderful experience there. The villa was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. The meals were super delicious and served at Jetwing Lighthouse (which is nearly 600m away with a beautiful view of the sea). I highly recommend this hotel for nature lovers who are visiting down-south.

In our All Jetwing Tour de Ceylon round trip, we stayed two nights in the pool villa. As expected, the environment is amazing, lots of birds around. The meals were really tasty. Ayu Spa at Jetwing lighthouse exceeded expectations. The must go boat safari by the sunrise is memorable. Cleanliness and service could have been improved.

I would like to thank you very much for providing a wonderful stay at Kurulubedda. That's was a nice place blended with the nature. The room and it's balcony was spacious. Food was good. Either you can have the meal at Jetwing Lighthouse or at Kurulubedda. The staff was very friendly. Also I would like to thank you for the "Kaduru" plant gift ! 🌱 The only minus point I have is the disturbance because of mosquitoes at night. 🦟 I would suggest you guys should provide a mosquito vaporizer for the room.

We opted for one of the villas with a private plunge pool, and it truly felt like a slice of paradise. The resort's restaurants offered a delectable array of local and international dishes, catering to all palates. The staff's attention to detail and their genuine care for our comfort made our stay truly unforgettable. Every request was met with a smile, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that our honeymoon was everything we had envisioned. In summary, Jetwing Kurulubedda provided us with the perfect honeymoon retreat. From the villa with a private plunge pool to the timber boardwalk through the wetland and the pool with paddy field views, every aspect of our stay was nothing short of magical. If you're seeking a romantic and idyllic getaway, this resort should be at the top of your list.

Where friendly staff, quite and calm Location. However hotel is really small, even though the name portrays kurulu”bedda”. There is almost no place to walk around. Walking path to see birds is less than 400ms at the most. Food/staff service is quite good. They offer meal Upgrades at jetwing lighthouse. Overall i would Give 6/10 and will not pay more than 30k full board. (Unfortunately i went on high season for 49 half board)

It's hard to imagine that you can find such a quiet and tranquil place in a jungle just 4 km from the beautiful city og Galle. 5he staff is very service minded and goes the extra mile to make your stay a pleasure. What a gem of a hotel . If you are like me , don’t like the normal huddle and bustle of a busy hotel this is for you . Just relaxing , and were served very well by Gayan . One of the best relaxing places we went to . Checked in on a Monday and checked out Tuesday. Extra mile taken for delicious food. Beautiful architecture and serene . Have great discounts at times

We spent two days at one of the villas last week. It was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was very relaxing. You could hear the chirping of the birds at the crack of dawn. The villa was very clean and well appointed. The whole staff was well trained and the service was excellent. The food that was served was very tasty. The butler who was assigned to our villa, Gagan Subash, provided excellent service. He was very curtious, helpful and accomodating. He went above and beyond his call of duty to serve us. We booked the place for one night but ended up staying for two. We had one lunch at the Light House hotel. There too the service and the food was very good. The manager there was also very helpful. We would definitely go there again in the future. .

We recently stayed at jetwing kurulubedda and the property was absolutely gorgeous! We got a room with the plunge pool and it was a really nice experience. Definitely coming here again for the service! We were served by a gentleman called Gayan for the entire duration of our stay and his customer service was truly top tier, he made sure we had the best stay there! Gayan was one call away for all our needs and had everything ready according to our preference. 10/10 recommend this property

We chose to visit this establishment based on Jetwing's reputation, but unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations of a typical Jetwing hotel. However, it may appeal to those who appreciate nature. The hotel is relatively small, with a few rooms featuring private pools, although we found the private pool rooms to be lacking. One advantage of staying here is that you can dine at Jetwing Lighthouse, located just a few meters away. It would be convenient to have your own transportation to move between the two hotels. The staff here are dedicated to providing a positive experience for their guests. Please note that if you prefer luxurious accommodations, this may not be the ideal place for you.

Situated in a calm,serene location perfect if you are looking to get away from the chaotic city scapes. The villas are spacious and well maintained. The staff is so friendly. Had dimmer at Jetwing Lighthouse which includes the rates and breakfast at Kurulubedda. Meals were delicious and more than enough.Had a great time there. Much recommended.

Jetwing Kurulubedda has 06 rooms in a calm place. Actually there are many birds and really relaxing. However, this is under staffing and there's was a nearly 1 hr delay in food serving in every meal I requested. Staff is friendly and there's no problem with them.

I enjoyed the stay here, but there are a few things to note. The hotel is not very large & borders on a few private properties (mostly homes). I didn't hear any noise or had any disturbances, but that may become a possibility. The rooms are large and nice. However, i felt like certain maintenance was skipped (some blinds couldn't be opened as the chains just didn't do anything, our shower had the rain shower selector stuck). There is no espresso machine in the property (or it was not functioning when i visited), which i found super annoying. There is not much you can do in the hotel property as it's not very large - so you are either restricted to the pool, room or short walk up to the river. SPA which is located at jetwing lighthouse was not great. The prices was too much and the sessions not worth the price. We had a hard time understanding the therapists, as they didn't speak clear English and spoke very few words to convey the information. I however should reiterate, we did not have a single disturbance and had a very relaxing stay. For all the above shortcomings, the staff made up by being very enthusiastic and eagerness of them to help us out on each request. Everything was clean and spotless when we got the room in the first place. The food was excellent and we had a decent number of choices for the food. Even some of our "off the menu" requests were met without additional charge (your mileage may vary). During our stay we could even go to their larger property (jetwing lakehouse which is less than 1km away) and have any of the regular meals at no additional cost.

Great place for romantic weekend. The service is great and the food is great. Loved the stay. To talk about an improvement, I suggest to include mosquito repelent in the care kit. Overall the stay was wonderful

Amazing stay. Beautiful location. We were privileged to even see a peacock across our room. Mosquitoes are a problem, as expected ( not n your room ) So ill recommend anyone that wants to dine in not to go in the morning. The manager provided us with a 5 star service.

Calm and quiet location to spend a vacation with your family! Delicious food! A friendly staff is there. If you would like to take a ride in the river, they will contact a third party person and it's very worthy!

If you are looking for a peaceful and calm environment to spend your vacation on, Kurulubedda is the right place to go. You feel very much one with nature with birds chirping in the mornings looking over the paddy fields. A special thanks to the manager, the chef and serving staff for giving us such a homely experience and being very flexible when it came to dining options.

The place is really well maintained and completely free of noises from vehicles. It's a good place to spend your time leisurely in an environment. Amidst the difficult time in Sri Lanka right now, I have never faced suchlike lower level of hospitality. Mentioning about staff, they are lovely and do their responsibilities wisely. My final verdict is that this is a better place to visit and spend your life in an surrounded environment.

The place is great for a retreat from the city life and mostly the staff is exceptional, extremely friendly and helpful to whatever you might want. Definitely a place to check out !

Really unsatisfied. I have made a reservation for 19th november as a honeymoon package. Staff is ok and they tried to do their best. But the hotel has not arranged at least welcome drink. I have requested a shaving kit. But the answer is “out of stock” then one of the member asked “sir did u use big 1 or 2 ? I will try to buy it from outside”. Really unsatisfied. We hope they will arrange a bed decorations since the booking has mentioned as a honeymoon package. Really unsatisfied. Never recommend.
