Fabulous place to stay in Galle Fort . Very kind and friendly staff . The service is best . Rooms are best with the nice garden inside .

Very smart looking venue. Very clean. The bed had a ledge which you hit your shins on in the middle of the night. Good amenities, however, when asking for coffee sachets there weren't any available. Service is very good. Staff are very attentive. Breakfast served in a lovely courtyard close to rooms. Good ambiance. Many restaurants close by.

Rooms and washrooms are not very big.Very old fasion.Washrooms did not have even soap.We had to ask from the hotel to provide the soap.Hotel room is not worthy compared with the price

Rooms are very small and washrooms are even smaller, not clean at all. They haven't clean the place from ages and when we call they said the price is 10,500 per room and when we reach he said 12,000. For card payments they charge 10% extra. Other than the location everything else very poor.

One of nighmare hotel at dutch fort… the manager and his sons are very rude and violent.. specially cyote people and stealing money for nothing… these places should be banned. Tge behavier and customer service was -1000000%. Id rather give -stars if i can.. dont go to this hotel anymore..there are niceset places all around… they are really cyote people and make scenes to taking money from you… hotel is really old and very unclean. And the staff also very unclean seems not having bath in years… rooms are really wet and bad smelly.. and VERY AGGRASIVE PEOPLE… Thretning you the ways they can and VERY VIOLENT… These people are THIVES… Im not Recommending this place at all… this place is a corpse cemetery…very stupid people and dont know hospitality at all… DONT EVER GO THIS PLACE

They should have better communication among their own management. I made reservation with one manager which they comfirm in writing but when I went their the other manager has no clue and reservation conditions changed to room only from BB with same price. Though the room was roomy but TV was not working and had some black mould buildup on all walls with smell of mould in room.

It is really awesome experience in this place and surely coming back. I orders the breakfast from the place and i never expected a Breakfast like this for such price it's really awesome. Rooms are nice and clean and well organized.

Absolutely amazing location. The ambiance of the rooms which are all suites are fantabulous. The service levels and the quality of the staff from the security personal right upto the AGM was an undying experience. It was certainly and undoubtedly the best experience at a hotel in Sri Lanka. So very accomodative and friendly staff made our stay ever so enthralling we will definitely go back there again possibly this year again.

Absolute joke of a hotel. Staff are rude and do not honour their commitment. Hotel is old. do not stay here. There are many other nicer hotels around.

Loved the place. Nice comfy rooms. Excellent location. Good breakfast. Helpful and courteous staff. It's really wise to stay inside the Fort. And I would definitely recommend staying at the New Old Dutch House. It's a Dutch Villa that's being used as a hotel/ guesthouse. You can walk around and visit all the spots of the Fort from here. No bike, no tuk tuk, no cab needed. The lanes have bful cafes and you can enjoy some continental food along with flavorful tea.

Dirty and unfriendly. When we arrived at the hotel, our room wasn’t ready yet and the hotel manager said they will clean the room. When we went in the room once ready, the sheets were still dirty! They didn’t change the sheets and pillow case !!! I can’t believe a hotel could reuse the sheet on a new client!!!! Also Totally agree on the opinions about unfriendly manager. We arranged a car for 0900hrs. but the car was there with almost 2 hrs delay only! We complained and they started to insult us heavily Same applies to laundry. Delivery time was postponed 4 times to next day. Their behavior is completely different toward clients from online platforms because we can’t complain and claim refund through a different system as we didn’t book there.

Interior doors 170 high so if you're taller you bump your head everywhere. 6:30 in the morning music school starts lessons next door. Breakfast pretty small. Although it was clean, bed was comfy and service nice.
