Nice place to stay because really central and make your stay in Fort easier. Rooms have air con and no possibility to open window so it start to smell humidity relatively fast.room price 3500rps.

One word describes Shoba best: 'brilliant'. Small, family run hotel, in a great location. The people at Shoba will do whatever they can to help you enjoy your holiday in this fabulous country. can't wait to get back there.

The best room in my one month stay in Sri lanka. The value for money is excellent, the room is well decorated, as well as the all lounge area. Sleeping in the fort area allows you to stay at evening / morning times when it is most enjoyable to walk around the lovely & romantic streets.

Nice Home-Stay located in the middle of the Gallefort. Nice and Clean room with A/C & Fan with mosquito net. Bathroom was clean and function well. Kind and helpful staff. Hotel was located inside a shop and it has a nice indoor lounge area too.

Didn’t stay here, but came for breakfast - very accommodating and made us a fantastic dhal and white fish curry with fresh paratha! Great service and a very nice chat!

Really nice, authentic and friendly family running this gift shop cum hotel. Prices are competitive, rooms and surrounding well maintained and clean. Lots of time and thought has been invested in the interior deco which is beautiful and so cosy. Location is smack in the middle of action in Galle Fort. Gift shop carries only locally sourced handicrafts (support the locals!) Really helpful family with my small requests here and there. Me and my wife enjoyed the conversation we had over breakfast about the differences in our countries and the similarities of the struggles we are facing. Definitely the best place I stayed in my Sri Lanka travels. My only regret that I could only stay one night as we were on an express tour hopping from one town to another with our tuk tuk. Highly recommended and God willing, will come again with my family.

Had a very nice stay. The hotel is integrated with an art gallery, my room was nice and clean and the owner went out of his way to make the the stay a great experience! He is also a great chef... In case you don't feel like going to town on an evening ;) and he's planning to open a restaurant in the same building :)

Stayed during my recent cycling trip in Sri Lanka. Indica and Ravi are excellent hosts. Spent a few hours chatting with Ravi over his excellent cocktails. I'll definitely be back, hopefully to watch a test match at the Galle international cricket ground. Excellent location, service and real value for money.

Worth it at twice the price. Lovely quaint bungalow with a picturesque look in every nook and corner. The location is perfect to see the best of Galle Fort shopping and the owner is super kind and helpful, ensuring the property is clean and stocked. The rooms are good and the instant hot waterin the bathroom is nice. There's also place to dry your clothes on the terrace and you can cook in the kitchen if you'd like.

Beautiful room with high ceiling and sitting area outside. The location is great, at the heart of the fort, a few mins walk to the seafront. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had a very restful time there after a month travelling around Srilanka. Highly recommend.

A/C works very good, bathroom little bit old but warm shower! Location is perfect. Decor is beautiful. Booking is cheaper in the hotel itself. I paid 5000 rupees for 1 night solo.

Great location in Galle, along Pedlars street where you can find a lot of food, shops etc. walking distance to a lot of spots in the fort. We love the design of this place too! We will surely come back. Don’t hesitate to book if you plan to visit Galle.

A nice place opposite peddlers inn. Small rooms but nice enough for a quick stay. Only down side was it was during the power cut period and they didn’t have a generator.

The host is the nicest person ever, she did everything to make me feel welcome, comfortable and everything. The location is ideal, right in the center. The building is beautiful, the rooms simple but the beds are terrible, too soft (no mattress just 2 slices of foam) and very very moldy, I couldn't sleep at all, such a pity cause this place is full of potential. I am sure I'd they change it and make sure the pillows and bed sheets were clean this place would just be perfect!

😠 Walked in for dinner with friends at around 8.30 pm and was warmly welcomed. Our orders were taken promptly but then everything went downhill from there. Waited around 40 minutes till we decided to ask a waitstaff for an update on our food and we were assured that we would get it soon. After this we...
