This place is directely within the fort. So once you are there you don't need any tuk tuk to get around. Actually we booked with khalid's but were sent to another building (they own five places) just around the corner. First we were afraid but all turned into good. The other place was on renovation and quite a construction site. So the house around the corner was best to have no noise and dirt from renovations. All of the Team are very welcoming and pay lot of attention to the guests. Breakfast is more than enough and tastes amazing, try their dahl 😉 Rooms are spacious and spotless clean. Lobby and open kitchen as well. Just one star deduction because of pricing. We paied 160 US$ for 2 nights in a double room. But it might be because of booking kind of last minute and christmas. So, go for it !!!

This is a terrific small hotel -– beautiful rooms with balconies – perfect breakfasts – and very friendly owner and staff. They have a couple of even nicer annexes – Small House and the gorgeous Fort Square. Highly recommended.

We love this guesthouse. The room was perfect for a family of four with kids. The people welcoming and what an amazing breakfast!

Very nice rooms in a brilliant location. The staff are lovely and very helpful! Breakfast was spectacular, right out side the room.

Beautifully restored historic building, excellent service, delicious breakfast. Highly recommended for a stay in Galle Fort.
