Overall a decent stay at a reasonable price. Rooms were big and the property has a beautiful scenic lake. The breakfast was tasty.

Great place, away from the madness of the city. Relaxing work spot by the lagoon as well right in the garden. Just ticks all the boxes and decently priced as well. Rooms are big and clean! Highly recommend

Nice place to stay, view over the river for which the owner offers boatrides to see the local wildlife. To reach the city a tuktuk is required which costs 200rp, the owner has one too. The juices offered are good.

We stayed 2 nights at the homestay, surprised to see it a little further outside galle than previously thought, so a short tuk tuk ride to the fort solved the problem. The room was basic and clean and the breakfast ok as the coffee tasted of chlorine which the guy said was normal, which didn't help. But he made it up by offering fruit juice, nice job. Overall service was very good and friendly.

Easy to access from galle town, clam and relaxing place near by the river. Rooms are well organized and clean.Owner is very friendly and worth the price you pay. Highly Recommended

Nice place to stay just outside Galle. Only 200 rupees to get to downtown or fort. The owner is super friendly .He helpee us with transportation to Tissa.

Good place to stay relax

Inexpensive homestey type deal. Got 4 fairly large double rooms with AC and hot water. Very close to Galle town.

Fair prices but unfortunately I booked a room with air conditioning and got a normal room. They asked to sort the issue with Booking.com because there was a complication. I was asked to pay extra for the room and i opted not. But overall I had a pleasent stay.

Visited Megabe Villa for a one day trip to Galle. 100% value for money. Place is located in between a river and the beach. Just a minute walk to the beach. Mr. Mervin was very accommodating and very pleasant. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. There were hot water facilities, AC and a small kitchen area within the room (no equipment). Would definitely come again.
