Worst customer support experience, low quality items with high priced. staff telling lies to sell their products. They do not accept warranty claims and think like we are thieves. Never go there, specially the upper floor. Stupid supervisor and security women will learn a lesson soon.

Most of the sales girls and cashiers are so arrogant. 😡 I was there with a foreign couple we were looking to buy Sri Lankan sweets and juggary but this arrogant attitude made me so disappointing front of foreigners.

It's a local convenience store near Karapitiya. It's not much different from other chain stores in items available and pricing. So it's just a matter of choice and location.

I didn't get a chance to go to this for a while after my childhood. So I recently went back and rekindled a lot of childhood memories. You were happy to see that the most coveted foods that I bought as a child are still sold in the same way. Food City contains a range of goods not even found in the country's popular supermarkets, and rare and diverse food items can be found here. Also, in the book section at the very beginning of the first floor, we can see excellent English children's story books that we have enjoyed since childhood, and a collection of new books. And from childhood, we used to come here to buy clothes, shoes, sandals, plastic goods and gifts. Those facilities are the same and more advanced even today.

Yesterday 04/04/2023 i came to your market for pay my LECO bills,at that time there was a girl from your right side 1st counter,then she put "COUNTER CLOSE" and she runaway and she said "I'm in break right now" then other counter girl said "THAT COUNTER IS ONLY THE ONE CAN PAY THE BILLS" So is this your customer service like this???

I really like this supermarket, friendly, helpful smiley staff and they usually have most things i need at good prices. Much rather shop here than bigger chain supermarkets! I go here most days plus all the smaller veggie & egg shops close by.

It feels like bringing an entire city under one roof. From this place you can choose from a wide range of food items, plastic items, glass / porcelain items, gift items, etc.

Goods are in mid/lower range. I guess based on local affordability it's pretty good. I'd expect it to get worse due to economic crisis. People's purchasing power has dropped. Staff is attentive and helpful.

Not Recommended. Don't trust their return policy on kitchen appliances. While selling they were ok to exchange the product if you are not satisfied. I took the product as it is. But the manager was talking nonsense. Many products are fake with original names. Experience was terrible.
