A hidden gem in Galle! I had the most delicious hoppers and dahl curry in this cute, atmospheric little cafe. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend coming along and enjoying their outstanding food whilst supporting a local business. A must try if you’re in town!

Tasty homemade food. Great service from the heart. We ate dinner on our first night and returned for breakfast the next morning. We had hoppers and they topped up our dahl. The owner is very kind and chatty while mommy stays in the kitchen preparing the tasty bites.

We visited this cafe for breakfast and we were not disappointed. The food is fresh and tasty. I have chosen roti chicken wrap and my partner went for traditional hoppers. The owners put a lot of heart into what they are doing. We recommend this place to everyone! Top place for breakfast 👌🏻⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a local place in the heart of the old town - 100% a hidden gem! We had a lovely meal here after searching for ages for decent local food! It’s very affordable, especially for us a backpacker. We’d recommend the hoppers (this is their signature). The husband and wife who run the restaurant were so kind and accommodating! We can’t wait to go back tomorrow!

Food options inside of Galle Fort can be very expensive! So if you are on a smaller budget, this little hidden gem is a fantastic option. It's a simple menu, but the food is absolutely delicious!!! Packed full of flavour and at a great price that won't make you cry when the bill arrives. We opted for the Dhal with sambol and rotty and also tried the vegetarian wrap. Both were really good. It's a tiny place, but they do have a couple of tables out on the road too. The owners were very friendly. Highly recommended for anyone travelling on a budget in search of seriously tasty food inside Galle Fort.

I really wonder why nobody else was there, when I enjoy my breakfast. The owner is lovely and the food was simple, cheap and delicious. I would come again anytime and can really only recommend checking it out.

Tiny little place on a side street in the middle of the upmarket boutique area of Galle fort. Food was incredible, some of the best I've had in Sri Lanka. Particularly recommend the hoppers, with a nice fruit juice. Friendly family service, great food, keen prices. A must for eats in the Fort.

Would really recommend this place for breakfast in Galle fort. We came here twice during our short stay in Galle. The hoppers were superrrrr good and the portion was superb. The owner was very sweet and attentive without being overbearing. Can also recommend the oats & yogurt and mango lassi. Tea and coffee was also nice. They are open early too which was a bonus as we had an early bus one day.

If you are in Galle, you have to eat here! This cute little restaurant is in a small and very quiet alley. The restaurant is operated by a lovely old couple who cook all meals by themselves. And that is something you can taste because every meal is made with love and you can feel the passion. Great plus is, that the alley is super quiet and there are almost no tourists or TukTuks passing by.

Really nice and inexpensive cafe in the fort. We took chicken rotti wraps, it was delicious. The owner was friendly and communicative. Food was prepared in 15 mins. There is no alcohol. JFYI

We really loved this place! We went there twice, and each time, the owner was very nice to us and our daughters. The food and drinks we had (hoppers, coconut pancakes, milkshakes) was very tasty and the price is reasonable. We were even lucky enough to have the visit of a peacock on the roof! We highly recommend !

Came here for dinner and a nice quaint little spot. As others have said only seating outside for 10-12 people. Run by a family Father was my waiter while Mum cooked. Enjoyed the Coconut Roti and tried forcmy first time and enjoyed the Buffalo Curd with Honey for dessert. Very welcoming and the father checked in on me a few times to make sure I was happy. Highly recommend while in the Fort area of Galle.

Small super cute family run business, they were all very kind! The juices are made fresh in front of you and the dad even topped up my glass with the extra amount in the blender. The oats and curd was so yum and such a massive serve my partner and I shared and were both so full! The curd is all homemade with no added sugar. Reasonable pricing :)

This place is quite small, as there is sitting only outside of the building with maybe 3 tables or so, 2 of them are for 2 people only, if I remember correctly. The menu is simple and the prices are cut out, but you will figure it out. The meals were tasty and I would say that it's home cooking. The guy that works as a waiter is communicative and he was making sure that any guest doesn't need any improvements of their meals.

Nice, small place with a very friendly owner. I had a mango juice( no sugar, wonderful, instead mixed with lime juice) and a wrap with avocado , cheese and tomato. Very reasonable prices for Galle Fort.

In a place like Galle Fort where almost everything is a tourist trap you still can find this little restaurant where you can feel the essence of Sri Lanka. Its owner is super friendly, we went for some fresh juices and ended up having lunch, we paid 2400rs for 2 people meal since the portions are huge. Everything is cooked by him and his wife. We absolutely loved the experience and definitely recommend it. ඔයාට ස්තූතියි

A wonderful family owned place in the heart of touristy Galle fort. The owner is the one who greeted us and his wife is the doing the cooking and I gotta tell ya it was amazing! Food tasted fresh and wholesome. If you wonder what it feels like if you had a Sri Lankan aunty cook for you, then check this place out! Also great prices for the Galle fort area.

Great food and wonderful life lesson from the owner and his family. Don’t work for the money but to be able to spent time with your family and give your customers the best true food you can give them. We had the hoppers with dahl curry, sambal and hot sambal. Wonderful new flavors even after a month of great rice and curry.

Amazing food and drinks! You have to wait a bit but it’s completely worth it! All natural ingredients and no added sugar in the drinks! Super friendly man working alone with one woman in the kitchen very hard! 100% recommend

We had sea food noodles and some wraps. Together with juices. It was a lovely experience and the service was very good. The waiting time could improve a little bit, but other than that we had a great time. Excellent service.

Lovely experience here. I had been looking for a good place for hoppers and I found it! It came with delicious curry and stewed onions as condiments. My partner got the coconut roti. SO MUCH FOOD. We practically rolled out of there. The owners are kind and generous and everything is made fresh to order so the small wait is acceptable. God we found this little gem.

The place is run be the sweetest older gentleman and the food is simple but delicious. Order the Dahl & Curry, the cinnamon & onion curry (called something like „cinnesambal“) is the best local food I had in Galle fort.

Best place to eat in Galle!! Much more authentic and reasonably priced than most of the other options. I had banana pancakes and my boyfriend has vegi noodles both were delicious!! And a good sized portions too. The service was fantastic, the staff happily gave us advice on tuk tuk prices etc. 100% reccommend :D

Looking for a good breakfast at 7 am, I found this place is one of the only few opens, so I tried. I ordered ginger tea and hoppers with dahl curry. It was beyond my expectation. The tea was with freshly grated ginger, very deep flavor. The hoppers are thin and soft, go well with the curry and sambal. The owners are a Sri Lankan couple - wife cooks and husband serves - ans very welcoming and caring. I got more dhals and teas when he saw I am eating like crazy. Good and warm hearted food. Highly recommend for you to try!

It’s very nice place!!! Food is really good! It’s a small family cafe. Owner and his son very attentive and helpful. And it’s really good prices there. Really like this place.

Very authentic Sri Lankan food as far as I can tell. Super delicious and the price is unbeatable. You get a ton of yum food for a very small dollar. Clean place, a bit hard to find but a must try if you’re in Galle. Also super nice owner who tells you a lot about how he makes the food. Huge selection of super fresh and healthy juices without added sugars just straight from the fruit into the glass. We loved it !

Lovely little place owned by a very friendly older gentleman who as he says "makes the juices" and his wife cooks. He keeps asking if you want more food and if you do get a replen it is at no extra charge.

Family run front porch café serving refreshing drinks and homemade food. Dad was helping to serve the tables, mum cooking and son does a great job at welcoming, preparing drinks and serving. We had iced tea and coffee and two fabulous pancakes. Thank you!
