My wife and I traveled in central & south Sri Lanka for 14 days. We chose Lotus Cab (LC) (from two other quotations) for transportation services on a point to point basis. LC was a slightly pricier option. The primary reason for our choice was that LC stated clearly what kind of a vehicle (make & model) would be provided. The others would only commit to providing a comfortable vehicle with a/c, which wasn’t good enough for us - didn’t want to end up in a tiny car. LC quotation presentation also made it obvious that we would be dealing with a professional no nonsense company and we were right. LC was always punctual, polite and prompt in communicating. There were absolutely no surprises. LC’s drivers were also polite, communicated fairly well in English and were always willing to go the “extra distance” to please us. Based on our experience, we highly recommend LC for taxi services in Sri Lanka.

We used the Lotus Cab Service from Colombo Airport to Galle (return). We also had a 1/2 day tour Galle Fort, Unawatuna Beach, Koggala Beach, a sea turtle sanctuary and the wonderful Handunugoda Tea Estate booked via Lotus Cabs. The cars are all new with professional drivers and each booking Dilshan (Reservations Manager) sends you a detailed description of the car they will send, the license plate number and the name of the driver. Dilshan is so efficient and responds within seconds. A truly professional service.

Lotus cabs gave expectional services for our 6 days stay. Niroshan brother was so friendly and has very good English. He helped us on food , hotel booking and trip plan . Niroshan has exceptional people skills and professional ethics were good .We travelled with two kids 4 yr and 5 months old , so he planned the trip accordingly . We visited Pinnawalla , Nuwara eliya , Glenloch tea factory , Ella , yala national park and Galle ( Mangrove boat ride ) I highly recommend them for the cab services and tour planning. I have used Lotus Cabs on three visits to Sri Lanka for multiple trips. The drivers are all very. Ice and reliable and Dilshan the Manager- Reservations is incredibly efficient re organising timings and responding to emails with any questions you have. I can’t recommend this company enough. Very few vehicles are available now and do not response for requests. Please check your system if you didn't receive requests. Traveled to your map location to contact but nothing was there. Called and got to know the place was changed and tours can not be obtained due to lack of vehicles. It was months ago before any lockdown or travel restrictions occur.

I booked a few rides with Lotos Cabs throughout whole Sri Lanka and was absolutely amazed by their professionalism. From welcoming me at Colombo airport with a name sign, picking me up and driving to different locations and finally returning me back to the airport in the middle of the night, everything worked out perfectly. The driver turned up on time, if not early, he was friendly, welcoming, on the journey made recommendations of places to see and things to do also ensuring we weren’t overcharged in heavily tourist areas. Very good and reliable transport service. I had to go from the south to the airport at 11pm. The conversation via WhatsApp was very easy. Excellent service, I booked a cab from a Galle hotel to Negombo, the vehicle they sent was great and Driver Was very professional and was a very risk-free driver, can recommend for anyone who wants to travel Galle to anywhere in Sri Lanka .I also heard that they have their services in other parts of sri Lanka aswell.
