This supermarket has many products, especially foreign foods. But some staff members are not well-manned. They behave like they are at home. They shout, blame and make some jokes when we are waiting for the cashier's counter. They don't know how to behave in front of a customer. But if you want to buy cheap beaking equipments and supplies you must go there. They have a good price.

Poor attention of the Staff on goods that we purchasing. I purchased around 23,000 LKR worth of goods today and they were calculated Almonds seeds worth 9,000 LKR which I had not purchased. This was not the first time I experienced this situation at Pagoma Magalle Food City. As customers, we SHOULD pay attention to the bill and to the goods which we have purchased on the same premises if not the staff of the so-called PAGOMA FOOD CITY will shoot us behind lol.

We are a well-reputed company having a business history of 71 years in Galle since 1948. We entered into business as an eastern medicine shop and later on converted to a wholesale & retail store and in 2007 we opened our first supermarket in Galle city. Due to the increasing competition, changes in the modern trade business we decided to open a new more spacious supermarket with ample parking and other conveniences.

Service is good and there are any meat available here.

Edited my 5 star review just bcz of the behavior of the helpers inside the Shop. Whenever a girl visits their they behave like bunch of monkeys and keep looking at your face wherever you go making you embarrassed. If we ask for certain things from them, they repeat what we ask in a mocking way. When you go by the racks, if you happened to encounter them they don't give you a space to walk pass by instead just stand like Clay pillars in middle of the Isle. My experience is getting worse by worse and do not want to buy from them anymore. Please try to educate the helper not to embaraz customers. Sp. women.

Cake items can be purchased from here..good staff..no rushes... but no electronic items like arpico but have various items to select

They were very helpful. There was also one staff who knew Hindi who assisted us very well. We ended up buying a lot of stuff that we could take home to India.

Went to buy some cake ingredients and daily Essentials. When you want to ask something from staff you only get one chance. If you try to ask twice they will shouted at you. Managers also very rude and shouted at the customers. Not recommend if you want to interact with staff.
