Lovely experience. The staff was very helpful and kind. Delivered great local breakfast an the room was clean and spacious. For the price you pay I expected a simple hotel, but the architecture was beautiful. The boss was a very kind local man who was very helpful and friendly. The location was also very nice and close to shops and restaurants. I strongly recommend this one.

Beautiful hotel and rooms were spacious (deluxe category) , clean and comfortable. Also located very conveniently. We decided to stay an extra night and they were flexible, along with packed breakfast as we had an early morning train to get back. The Staff members (Kumara and the other guy whom I couldn't get the name of-sorry!! ) were very welcoming, guided us through, also friendly and always made sure we are comfortable and happy. My overall experience is amazing and I know where to come for my every visit to Galle. Thank you so much for making my vacation with my father, a memorable one :)

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Galle Fort We where told on arrival that we should treat the hotel as our home so instantly we felt very welcome. With extremely comfortable beds, white bed sheets, White towels that actually dry you ( hard to come by in Sri Lanka) hot water, clean as a whistle rooms and good breakfast and a super nice owner and staff this hotel has it all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and even extended it for another night ! We would definitely recommend this hotel and would come again. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay ☺️

A very nice place with very clean and tidy rooms and bathrooms. Having a good customer service coz they have a very friendly staff 🤗 Food is also nicely arranged and tasty. Not hesitating to serve us. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for accommodation if visiting Galle.

A great colonial building which gives you the glamour of dutch architecture and history. With spacious and clean rooms. Food and Ice cream parlors in close proximity. Never miss the galle sunset. Arches Fort is walking distance to the rampart to see the sun set.

The Arches Fort is a very nice hotel. One of the two rooms was a bit small and one of the rooms had a very small shower. But the rooms were very clean and beautiful decorated. The personnel was very kind, the breakfast was great and the location is also very nice in the old town.

This one of the greatest places to stay in while you are in Galle. The interior is very calming and welcoming.Their rooms are well maintained, food is so delicious and the staff is very friendly. We had a great stay and planning to visit again soon. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

It's a decent value for money hotel in the main area of Galle Fort The room we stayed in was a bit small and could have minor improvements here and there. However it's not an issue since when you are in Galle Fort you usually need a hotel just for sleeping, which fulfills the purpose well at Arches Fort i.e. cleanliness and a comfortable bed. The location is the centre of Fort thus restaurants and other places are quite nearby. The service was great. Polite and kind staff. They make a superb local breakfast too. One shouldn't miss it. And they'll come regularly to check if you need more food. :)

Superb staff who made an exception for us because of early travel. The chef woke super early to prepare tea, coffee, and a packed breakfast for us to take on the early train. Additionally, the rooms are exceptionally clean with large comfortable beds. On top, a great location!

A heritage Villa building, converted into a hotel. A job well done. The property is well renovated and equipped, while retaining the original charisma. My room had a traditional wooden floor and air conditioning. Just felt it was a bit small. There is no parking area though. But it ain't difficult to find street parking within the fort.

Cleanliness is top-notched. Galle fort charisma is well preserved while converting this building into a hotel. Well equipped rooms with super bath facilities.. (Deluxe rooms) Breakfast is superb, local varieties with fruit salad, curd, tea/coffee.. Staff is super friendly & makes us feel like family.. Staff is very concerned on making the stay comfortable & live... Location makes this choice extra special.

This is a cute, comfortable hotel that will feel like a home stay. It’s at the heart of the gallery fort area. The service staff is very nice and serves you a hearty breakfast. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. My bathroom had a water drain (weird slope) and no hot water problem. They tried checking a few times and even though the problem was unresolved, they apologised profusely. The hotel has no other dining option available but you can enjoy a cool beer or wine at their patio area which is nice! I’d happily return again.

Found this little gem of a place and stayed 2 nights. Beautiful clean hotel , amazing shower that played music with plenty of water jets, lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Highly recommended

The hotel is really beautiful and the location is awesome! The owner gave us a free update and there is water to fill up your bottles. The breakfast is awesome and the hosts are so kind! All in all a really good experience! there’s just a little thing: there were quite some mosquitoes and the oil in the room didn‘t work. Other than that, really good place and we would for sure come back :)

Gleich neben dem Hotel ist Imals Restaurant wo man perfekt srilankisch Essen gehen kann.

Deluxe Room is very spacious and clean. The location of the accomodation near all the shops. Breakfast is good and the staff is great. I totally recommend this guesthouse.

My daughter and I had the most wonderful 3-day stay in Arches Fort. Located in the middle of most of Galle’s attractions, it was convenient to stop by from time to time when the heat got a little too unbearable. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff very warm and hospitable. We will come back again for sure!

What a special stay. A little gem of a hotel in the heart of Galle Fort. A short stroll to all the sights and sounds of the Fort. The owner and his wonderful staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. On New year's Day we were served a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast of tuna curry, green bean curry, oil cakes and rice cake. Delicious. It is a charming spot, I cannot recommend it enough. Aircon, super comfortable beds and lovely linen. We had a ground floor room, no 6. Small but perfectly adequate for a standard room. A calm, serene, peaceful haven.
