😠 Had to stay in this hotel as a last minute plan, made a wrong decision to stay here, place is dirty, bed sheets , towels are dirty and bathroom is small and stinky. Paid 5000 lkr per night for this, tap water stopped coming in the morning, while I was taking a bath. Very bad experience. People often mention room, stay, restaurant,

Location was perfect but apart from that, awful stay. The room and service were terrible. When we arrived there was nobody at the accommodation or cafe below, we eventually got hold of the owners and they made their way over after a wait. We paid before seeing the room (which we haven’t experienced elsewhere in Sri Lanka). The room wasn’t clean, and had no sheet/blanket. The toilet smelt foul for the duration of the stay. There were doors banging in the wind all night. Worst night sleep we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Couldn’t wait to leave the following morning.

My husband and I stayed in this guest house and it was indeed a nightmare. As we are local tourists the staff was very weird with us as like we have come to stay forcefully without paying. After settling the room payment all the employees went out and sat, me and my husband was like what did just happened? we were just standing near the counter and the employees were nicely chit chatting outside. Long story short. Dirty room, bathroom was horrible did not even wanted to go in. Broken a/c, no basic toiletries, no bedsheet, horrible towels. I feel, as working in tourist industry they should keep this place nice even the little they have. We couldn't wait to get out from here ASAP.

Probably two of the worst nights I've ever had in a 'hotel/guesthouse'. Dirty, grimy, broken, hot, not working air con, bed bugs, mosquitos, holes in netting. It's within a pretty orrible restaurant. Avoid like the plague.

Went there for lunch during my trip to Galle. It’s a small restaurant in the touristic part of the city close to the lighthouse. Service and food was good. Tried prawn curry for the first time there and surprisingly, enjoyed it😋

This is not a guesthouse; it's a dungeon. My stay there was a nightmare. The staff is unfriendly, and the room and toilet on the first floor were dirty. The towels had holes, and the bed linen was not clean enough. The room was tiny, with hardly any space to move about. PLEASE DO NOT book this guesthouse. I have traveled the world, and this was my worst-ever experience in terms of room cleanliness.

Quaint boutique Inn located at the heart of Galle Fort. You cannot beat the location for the price. The place is run by husband and wife team who are there to help. They have a small restaurant called the fort in restaurant down the street where they serve meals. The guest in itself was a lovely room enough for our family a family of five. The kids loved the Loft area that felt like a log cabin. The floors were all wood and rustic. At the time we went although it was peak season due to the horrible government and covid tourists were not so much present. The rooms could have had some work done but it was fine for the price and location. The restaurant that the family runs was also quaint with an upstairs balcony that we were able to enjoy. The atmosphere was fine nothing extraordinary but it was decent. The food itself was really good. We had a platter of seafood which I'm assuming was caught locally and fresh the waiter was amazing and we were able to connect with him through his story. The one thing we all have to understand that's how this bustling town has crumbled due to the lack of Tourism please continue to support this town the city this country.

Its 3 50 am and I cannot sleep, I am about to sleep in my truck. They lied about my original booking and the location of my booking which was owned by the same person (secret palace guest house ) . I presume it is because I was local and they discriminate. The room stinks. No ac. The fan cannot be controlled. No soap, no toilet papaer. Dirty. I can't wait to check out tomorrow and I wonder if they'd even refund the money I paid for the second day. I am also into tourism and stay all over Sri Lanka and this is by far the worst ever I have experienced!

We have just had lunch there. Really disappointed indeed... Quantity was not really enough, frozen french fries instead of home made, sand in the prawns... Can improve

We actually enjoyed the restaurant - we had a lunch here on the 2nd floor. Pancakes with banana and chocolate were great! Sexy prawns were tasty, Thai fish curry was huge and good enough, banana milkshake was yummy! I can recommend the restaurant for lunch for sure! Personnel's English could be better, that's why 4 stars only.

We went there for lunch. We ordered fried rice and fried noodles. I ordered noodles with prawns and got a soup… (my fault since I did not add “fried” to my order). The waiter was not interested in my confusions at all. Also we ordered one sandwich which arrived after everyone else finished. Quality takes time but a little better timing would have helped. The taste of the dishes was good.

Thank you for almost killing us. Fort salmonella. Service was already bad, but raw chicken?

Food is great. So is the view. Don't know anything about the guesthouse though. Inexpensive and delicious food for sure.

Customer service is minus and the staff is extremely racist. These people are rude to the local tourists so they can turn them away. It’s sad to see such narrow minded people in the tourism industry.

The best curry in Sri Lanka!! We have travelled all over the country and this was incredible - ask for their chicken curry! It’s a family run business, incredibly hospitable and welcoming. If you come to Galle Fort / Pedlar St then you must try.

The food here is simply some of the best in Galle Fort. We repeated and we simply could not fault any of the dishes. Family run and very friendly, we felt true Sri Lankan hospitality.

First of all the owner of the hotel was so rude. And the staff was not at all responding for anything. The room was very unhygienic and very bad smell , and they charge extra money for A/C but it is not at all in condition. And the bathroom so ugly and smell very badly.
