Loved the choice and prices. It really has a variety of everything: freshwater, marine, plants, coi fish, shrimps, snails, supportive salesman. Will definitely come there again. It is a little early to post photos of my tank, but I just love it too much

Great aquarium store, well maintained lifestock. If you have experience with this type of hobby you will see diffrence compared to other aqiarium shops for sure. Lads always happy to give you advice if needed. They specialize in saltwater aquariums which is the only one place in Galway!

Amazing! Whether tropical, marine or pond - this shop has it all and so much more! A huge selection of live corals for marine, an excellent selection of plants for tropical tanks and all kinds of tanks and accessories for all pockets. The fish and crustaceans are all very healthy and kept in very clean immaculate conditions! The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and we can only very highly recommend Seahorse Aquariums to all.

Very rude member of staff this morning, brought my daughter in to get a new filter for the tank. Was like we were annoying the staff member because he had to deal with us. I just left didn't bother getting what we needed, went to the pet shop in terryland which is great and Very helpful.Won't be returning, Hope the staff member has a nice day 😊

Markedly decreased service and range of stock. Staff attitude was disappointingly know it all and there was take it or leave it approach to products on offer. Watch out for different prices on shelves to what's changed at the till.

Friendly but not satisfactory. Bought filtered water there for many months and couldn't explain why the algae in my aquarium were growing like crazy, until I checked the particles in the fresh water to find that it was not different to tap water, which suggests that Seahorse's filters don't work. After complaining, I got a refund but we drive from Limerick - a long drive for nothing.

Nice little shop. The tanks are clean that’s happily great. Beautiful fishes and species. However, I am still waiting for information the vendor said he will give me a call for... wait and see.

Ciaran is fantastic, his passion and caringness for the amphibians is amazing. He stays calm when you are stressing, listens to the issue and always provides you with the best advice. Ciaran has never met me, nor sold anything to me in his shop. I have purchased from seahorse aquariums online but as I found out he was very knowledgeable about Axolotls, he became my go to person for questions and advice. He has never given me bad advice, never hurried me off the phone. His manner, his expertise and his knowledge is absolutely fantastic. He is a pleasure to deal with. Thank you so much Ciaran, you have been an Axolotl saver and we massively appreciate everything you have done for us and all your great advice.

I was in the shop today and I must say I was very impressed as a fish keeper/animal keeper I have a tendency to question staff in petshops or aquarium shops to see if they know what they are talking about and I was very impressed with the 2 lads working there today no matter the question they had the answer straight away also had great customer service and the tanks where well kept will definitely be back for a long list of fish

Before I went in here I was going to other pet stores where fish were sold and kept so poorly… I can now say with confidence with the help of the staff in seahorse aquariums I can give my fish a better life and have a better understanding of their needs. Amazing staff and genuine care for the fish! It makes me so happy to see people who care about animals and make sure everything is set up properly for them!
