Don't judge the place based on the western modern interior, worst place so far in Sri Lanka. We ordered 2 drinks and 2 fish& chips, I particularly double checked if it is the British style or not and was told it is. Everyone seemed to be served slowly but we were the last, even people who arrived way after us were served earlier, then after asking the waiter we were told to wait. Juices were tasty however do not prefer to wait 30min for a drink especially if there are only 4tables filled up?! Soon after the drinks the fish & chips arrived which seemed like a huge portion fish up until I actually cut it through and realized that there is basically no fish in it but kind of a small amount of fish filled with egg??! After I asked the waiter he seemed confused than took my food away without apologizing - I could not even take a picture about it. We decided to pay for the drinks and leave and were charged the drinks with 10% service charge what we refused to pay. I did not go into what service should be as I don't think the waiter had a clue about it. Can't judge the rest of the food but this kind of unprofessional service and rubbish food for almost European prices is not something I like. I highly recommend to go to Empire cafe instead at the next door, same prices, amazing food and highly professional service.

Fresh juices are great - the food, not so much. But, prices are reasonable. Found that the chicken wings were undercooked and covered with too much ketchup. Staff seemed uninterested and dull too. Food took forever to be served!!! The ambiance too needs to be improved. There were wires hanging from the walls, and we did feel warm while inside - it being a rainy day.

Very slow service and bad quality. We ordered a cup of coffee, tea, banana shake and strawberry shake they took 35 minutes and unapologetic they say we are understaff. Even for getting the bill they took 15 minutes. They had a attitude of “ you need our service then you need to wait” I just hope they know what they are doing. I don’t wish to give even one star.

The location was great but everything else was bad. The service was terrible. You have to wait 20 minutes for a menu. And the food takes even longer. The prices were high compared to neighbouring restaurants and I got food poisoning from the chicken burger to boot. Definitely worth eating somewhere else.

Run down place which has only advantage of being in best location. We came here to take shelter from rain and in the process ordered coffee. The table left by previous guest was not cleaned and no effort was made to clean it. We had coffee while surfing internet (free but weak WiFi)
