Kandy did not have a Java Lounge before I think. Newly opened place is small and cozy, a nice quality for a coffee place. Staff is friendly and helpful. I had a tall cappuccino for 580/ and a chocolate chip cookie for 250 something. The place has three floors, in second floor and third floor you can dine in, first floor/ reception is for ordering. Also, you can have a smoke in the outside balcony. Place has a good view of the city and the Kandy lake at distance, overall had a good time, supiriii ✨

It is located in the heart of Kandy city and is very convenient to find the spot. Perfect spot for a nice coffee and a good chit chat with friends and family. The service was excellent and super customer friendly. Quick serving and very little waiting time. They greet customers with a big smile and cheerful faces and as well as send us off very respectfully. They’ve got varieties of drinks, both hot and cold, as well as more choices on the food menu too. Prices are pretty reasonable and the portion sizes are enough for a person or two, depending on your choice! Blueberry cheesecake and cookie cream frappe is my absolute favorite. We tried the all-in-one sandwich and it was a bit salty. Probably not always, but it was today! I’d still go again and would highly recommend it.

I went to Java Lounge in Kandy all of a sudden because I really wanted to try their cappuccino. It was my first time at their Kandy shop. When I saw it from outside, it looked like a small place, but inside, they had arranged everything nicely. They have tables to sit upstairs, and the place feels really nice. As soon as I walked into Java Lounge, I could smell the coffee and the whole atmosphere was calm and nice. I decided to get a big cappuccino with vanilla flavor to take home with me. It tasted really, really good. They packed the cappuccino nicely for me since I wanted to take it with me. They also have some food you can eat there. If you're looking for a place where you can have coffee and also do some work, this place is perfect. I really suggest it if you're someone who loves coffee.

One of a best place in kandy for a coffee. Highly recommend. Coffee and foods are perfect. Specially interior design is so amazing and that vibe is so nice. Staff is giving the main priority for the customer and they are so friendly and helpful. Shop located in a really easy place. Horrible food and bad coffee. Kandy branch disappointed me. Asked for a pesto veg pasta and double checked but brought me a normal chicken pasta. When I informed them about it and showed my bill they took the pasta back reheated, with pesto and still chicken in it. It tasted and smelled so bad and pasta was way overcooked and squashed. When I complained them they just said “thank you” and not even a sorry, wonder who trained them. My friend also had a sandwich and bread was so old that it was so dry and flaky. Our drinks weren’t good either. Maybe their hot coffee is good but that’s about it, never order food from them. The place was not cleaned properly as well. Doesn’t stand to the standard of Colombo branches at all. Waste of money and time.

Value for money: NO This place was clean and the staff was super friendly. We had a chicken Sandwich (I think it was tandoori) and a velvet cake with cappuccino. Maybe because I like spicy food, the sandwich tasted super flat. Velvet cake was more into sweet side. I had way better cakes in so many other places in Kandy. Cappuccino was a let down. Didn't live up to the name Java Lounge. Set up of the whole place didn't fit me either. I like to have my coffee in calm and comfy place. Inside it was bit cramped up and balcony was super noicy. Overall I was kind of disappointed with the experience and food. For cake and coffee still Cafe Koi is the best place in Kandy.

Spent a couple of hours getting some work done. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The place was not that packed when I visited. It felt like some tables were broken because they were not balanced properlyb I tried a chocolate croissant and a cappuccino. Both were really good.

Visited there on a weekend, and tried Ice Mocha & Apple Ice Tea with several types of Cakes. Food is great. Also the place is clean, quite and good for spending a few hours while working or talking with friends. Service is also good.

Their cheese cakes are the best. They have a good variety of cheese cakes and beverages. Initially we had no idea about the beverages. Staff was really helpful and they explained about the available beverages and the tastes. They have well maintained three small floors. You can enjoy your food without any disturbance while taking your time. First you have to make the order at the cashier and then they will serve you within around 15 minutes. There was no any dedicated parking.

Such a nice and cozy place to enjoy your time with your loved ones. Even if you need some alone time, this will be the perfect place for you. Their staff is really friendly and the service was quick... Highly recommended! ♡

We ordered spaghetti carbonara, cheesy garlic bread with two cappuccinos from here. The taste of the food was really good. The staff were very friendly. AC interior. The balconies are nice too. We stayed in the balcony to enjoy outside. Regular garlic bread is better than the cheesy one in this place. Loved the experience in here.

Good location and good service. Coffee and other foods are good. Red velvet cake is not fresh and dry. Seen some other reviewer faced this issue also.

Newly added Chai Coffee (Not tea, Not Coffee) - It is like tea with a bit of Cinnamon and Coffee - served hot with 2 sugar packets. I visited this cafe to work from their, it was quiet and peaceful and I really enjoyed my time there. Hoping to visit again!

Situated in a convenient place which is easily accessible. A cozy place to have a coffee amidst your busy schedule with its welcoming atmosphere. There are three floors and the ground floor is dedicated for your orders and other two for dine in. I ordered both hot and cold items that were in the menu they were pretty good. However we ordered two cake pieces which were stale and they did take a long time to reserve the food items we ordered (got the beverages soon though) simply because they forgot it which was a bit unpleasant. However, the staff were attending and handling the things professionally. What was exceptional was the perfect ambience.

This is newly opened in kandy and which has a friendly staff who are quick. They were so quick to serve us with what we want. When it comes to the place it a calm sitting there looking at DS senanayake Vidiya, Kandy. It is an excellent place to have a coffee even though it is expensive. Recommend for all.

I ordered a cappuccino, an iced latte, and a strawberry cheesecake. The beverages were disappointingly watery and thin, lacking the creamy texture I was expecting. Honestly, they weren't worth the price at all and I can easily find better ones in low-end cafes. However, on a positive note, the strawberry cheesecake was pretty good. The staff was friendly and the overall ambience of the place was nice.

This is such a cool spot with good coffee, cake, and sandwich. Definitely would recommend the dark chocolate and caramel cake, known as 'nightmare cake', and their spicy chicken sandwhich was great too. O yes! Their Americano and Cappuccino taste good as well. Although the Cappuccino went flat relatively sooner than other I've had.

One of the best coffee shop in Kandy town I ordered Tall latte and cheese croissant fresh and delicious food The seating is also very relaxing and beautiful. I loved the music, Interior is mind blowing and Friendly team.

Place is located close to bus station, surprisingly good quality with a low price! Croissants are homemade, chocolate one melted our hearts. As long as Hemantha did, we had a nice conversation, service was cozy and just in time. Recommend.

Java Lounge is an amazing spot to hang out and even work on your freelance projects. We stayed for over 3 hours, and it was still not enough! The place is awesome, and their drinks and food are delicious too. Highly recommended!

It was a good experience in Java lounge in kandy, cake was good with a Americana coffee and chocolate drink. Place was quiet a vibing lounge. Meals are not great as hitea. Recommended place for coffee, but i felt its very expensive prices listed for coffees.
