he Museum of the Order of Liberation is a museum dedicated to the Order of Liberation, hosted by the Hotel des Invalides in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. The Liberation Medal Museum is located in the Hôtel des Invalides. Its address is 51, rue bis de la Tour - Maubourg, and it is preferable to book tickets in advance. The museum is dedicated to the Order of Liberation and the Companions of Liberation, an order created with the aim of rewarding people or communities who distinguished themselves during the liberation of France during World War II, the second post-national French national order. Legion of Honour. The museum includes three main spaces: Free France, Internal Resistance, and Deportation. The museum's Hall of Honor is dedicated to General de Gaulle, founder of the Order of Liberation. The Museum of the Order of Liberation was established in 1967, when General de Gaulle decided to install the order at the Hotel des

Museum included in the establishment of Les Invalides (same entry ticket), which presents the actions of the resistance in France and in the colonies with the progressive liberation of the territories. Upstairs is presented the section devoted to deportations and executions in the death camps where many resistance fighters never returned.

One of my favorite museums, little known to Parisians, within the Musée des Invalides, an order founded by General de Gaulle, possibility of visiting both museums, traces the history of Free France from 1940 to 1945 with the portraits of the Compagnons de the Liberation, a tribute also to the resistance Discovering the Second World War thanks to these heroes, workshops for children and the theatrical version with actors is unique!

Musée nous plongeant dans la résistance française, c est une réussite. Il y a énormément d objets, de portraits de grands résistants avec leur uniforme d époque. Très imagé, c est très intéressant. Je vous conseille l exposition sur les espions du général de Gaulle 😀

Not easy to find in the corridors of the Invalides but the effort is worth it: magnificent journeys of Resistance fighters and Companions that we discover through superb objects in the windows. Special mention for the wall of decorations received by General de Gaulle!

Very well done, absolutely a must see! On the other hand, I am surprised that the explanatory texts are not also in German. It will be useful and educational for the many Germans who visit the museum, as is done at Auschwitz.
