First off I all I always try to give a fair review and assessment of every establishment. So let's start with the pros.. close to the airport and interstate with easy accessibility. Clean and friendly staff with ease of checking in. Very spacious resort and plenty of amenities, pool, bar large lobby for gatherings. Great place for large social events for sure. Now the not so good. This hotel is geared for gatherings and partying styles. So if your hosting a large get together and ready to party this is the spot. If not and you are trying to get a good night's rest DO NOT STAY HERE. Loud noises all night long in the halls and especially if you sleeping on the ground level you will absolutely hear the people above you. My group was woke up every hour throughout the night all night long. My advise to management is to ask the individual at booking what there plans are for the evening and assess at the point where in the hotel to place individuals. This would resolve the issues with the party crowd over the just wanting a good night's sleep crowd like myself. Security did respond to my multiple calls to the office however that did not resolve the issue.

Stayed here on the recommendation of a friend who lives locally, but I won’t be back. The hotel itself is a sprawling mess of two story buildings with multiple entrances around the periphery that are perpetually guarded by guests looking for a place to smoke. Hold your breath coming in and out if you don’t want a nicotine contact buzz. If you want to take advantage of the breakfast buffet, arrive early. Access to the restaurant was managed on our last day by one person who seemed overwhelmed by a line that at one point was 30 people deep. The food is average. They do have several electric car chargers on site, which was one reason we booked there, but don’t plan on using them. Management allows gasoline cars to park in the stalls, and covers most of the units so they’re impossible to use. When I pointed that out to the front desk, they said they’d try to locate the guests who were parked there, but nothing happened. I ended up charging my car at a location several miles away. Rooms were clean, but dated. Beds were fine. The bathroom and shower were wheelchair accessible. Bring a white noise machine to sleep. It’s noisy. My next visit to Boise I’ll stay anywhere else.

I am pretty disappointed. I was the makeup artist for some contestants in the pagaent they had there. I had points so I thought I'd get a room there the night before and take my daughter for a mommy daughter night. The rooms were almost $400 for one night. Upon arrival I told the desk clerk I would need elevator access as I have a lot of luggage with me. She seemed irritated at that request, then she told me they didn't have luggage carts (not true). When we got to the room it was musty , run down , outdated not what you'd expect for $400 a night. I had asked for a late checkout since I was doing makeup , I was told it would be $100 for a late checkout. Absurd. The only positive thing about our experience was the indoor pool , and the manager at riverside grill , she was excellent and had great customer service. Other than that it was a pretty mediocre experience for a lot of money. Pretty disappointing.

We loved this hotel! We are BW Diamond members and got an upgrade to a great room with an awesome view of the pool. The pool area is so nice with heating lamps on deck, a bar, and life size chess on the grass. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms were spacious and clean. Great water pressure in the shower and a very comfy bed. Breakfast was outstanding! Tons of options and even an omelette station. All of the staff from the front desk to the restaurant were incredible friendly and accommodating. 100% recommend staying here when in Boise!

We love this hotel, it's our go to place to stay every time we visit Boise. The service is outstanding, they always seem properly staffed & everyone is helpful & professional. The location can't be beat, walking distance to lots of great places & a shuttle that will take you anywhere within a 2 mile radius & the airport. They have a decent restaurant, a couple good bars, & lots of live music options. The rooms are clean, safe, & very comfortable, probably the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in...but, the showers. The only issue I have is with the showers. They are terrible! Old, poorly upkept, failing tile, short shower heads (I'm 5'5" & on my most recent stay I had to duck to wash my hair), just unbelievably bad. And it's just not one room, we've stayed over a dozen times & the shower is always a 70s nightmare. For $250+ a night I'd really like to feel clean after a shower & I never do. It's maddening.

Everything was perfect this was my first time at this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We even had a balcony in our room! Very big and beautiful and it right on the river. There is also a few restaurants there. We were able to go with our pug and it was not bad for the pet prices. We had a very nice breakfast in the morning and we were able to get a late checkout! Will definitely be coming back!

We brought a large baseball (60 plus) team to stay over 4th of July. It was an amazing experience. We all had so much fun. The hotel was incredibly welcoming with their staff, accommodating and offered a wonderful breakfast for all our players, coaches and families. We will for sure be back to stay. The pool, the river and the outdoors surrounding the hotel was AMAZING. So much fun! Highly recommend. I know our Crush group will be back!!

We stayed here last week and I would have to say it's the worst hotel I've been to in years. They won't let you check in until 4 and we couldn't use the pool or anything until then. The reason we booked it was for the outdoor pool. The pool doesn't open until 11am the next day and that's when we had to check out. There wasn't anyway to get to our room unless we went outside and walked all the way around and no elevator! It looked like an apartment building from the 70's. Everyone that worked there was either unknowledgable or rude. The breakfast buffet was good but that's about it. Not worth the high price.

There’s an odor in the hallways and the rooms are a little shop worn given the room rate. The two shower heads made for wonderful showers. The bar and restaurant by the pool with live music is delightful. Good comfort food with no really healthy options. Our flight time necessitated a 1 p.m. airport shuttle which they accommodated while refusing to let us wait by the pool. The live music at dinner and then again for Sunday lunch was absolutely delightful. Great service at the Sandbar by the pool. Wonderful paved bikeway/trail beside the Sandbar which has a marvelous view of the Boise (pronounced Boy-See). Wonderful walk after dinner down to the pedestrian bridge that was formerly a railroad bridge.

Booked riverview room with king size bed and it was great. I love this hotel but Sliding door & balcony needs updating. The room itself is good. Spacious and bed is comfortable. Room has a mini refrigerator and microwave. Bathroom has heating lamp on the ceiling to warm you up after your shower. Nice touch! My favorite part is the fact that it's on the green belt where you can walk or bike. It is so convenient. Also breakfast is excellent. Not the typical buffet with food wrapped in plastic or cereals in boxes. They have an omelet station and hot food for breakfast included with your stay. If you are a hot chocolate lover like myself you need to order 1 or 2. It's so good! And of course the staff service is excellent. Plenty of parking and it's free. Will definitely stay here again.

If you like quiet this place is a nightmare. Watch my video. Live music is awesome. However, you would think you would be able to watch TV without it being drowned out by the noise of a hotel event. Even with noise canceling headphones I can literally feel every single note because I'm on the ground floor. I'm laying in bed listening to something with noise canceling headphones and I can still tell what song they're playing. It's crazy. Music ended at 9pm during my stay, but the drunk guests(who are just here to enjoy themselves, nothing against them) will continue to mosey throughout the property being loud for another hour or two. The building also smells old and damp. Not like the nostalgic old building smell that cool old homes get, But rather an old wet smell. My shower head is very short. I'm 5'5" and barely fit underneath it which is kind of crazy. Doesn't affect me but your 6'2" friend is gonna be holding the detached shower nozel over their head if they want coverage. Overall the accommodations in my room are equivalent to a low level Marriott. If you're looking to have dinner, listen to live music, and then walk back to a low level Marriott room, This place will definitely check those boxes. The location is lovely too. There's a bike path that runs along the Creek right behind the hotel. The staff were all super sweet too. Room accommodations and noise levels are very undesirable for the price. I stayed in the Marriott last night with nicer accommodations and a more comfortable bed for about half the price in a pretty nice area of salt lake. Granted not as nice, but I care a lot more about my sleep quality than anything else.

Not your Mama's Best Western..the building does not look like Best Western standard design.. the room entrances are inside and the style looks higher quality. The hotel acts like it's higher quality. Excellent food, great high quality buffet breakfasts that included cloth napkins and table cloths...fresh pastries, made to order omelets, thick cut bacon and live music. Harpist was there when I went. The restaurant dinners were equally as good. Room was a little dated, but clean with microwave and fridge. Room had a balcony which was great for listening to live music from the Sand bar grill near the pool or just enjoying the air. They also rent bikes for the bike trail running by the river adjacent to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel. It acts like a resort and has enough stuff going on to keep you there for a vacation get away. I thought the prices were excellent and I got much more than other local higher prices hotels had to offer

From first touch to last, this place knows how to please! Usually you can have one or two things happen that might not please...not here! From the desk ,to the room, to the room service, to the food. Literally the best, most relaxing stay I have ever had at any hotel hands down! I will definitely be returning and turning everyone I know to this hotel! Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience!

The hotel was really nice, rooms were clean and overall very good. Nice pool and good breakfast. My only issue and reason for 3 stars was that the alarm went off at 6am and woke everyone up (we have two young kids) and when I mentioned it to the front desk and asked for a late check out because we all wanted to get a little nap in, she said they were full on late check outs and would not do it for us. It was a staycation for us and we were really looking forward to sleeping in so I was pretty upset the alarm woke the kids up and setting the day up that way.

We are from Boise, but we are moving abroad and needed a place to stay overnight while the house was on the market. I'd heard from a lot of locals that The Riverside was a great place for a staycation, so we decided to stay there. Honest to God I do not know what the hype is about. It was remodeled recently, but obviously cheaply because it still smells damp and old. The bathrooms are GROSS. Hair all over everything, 3 inches of standing water in a 40 year old bathtub/showers, and fixtures that were crusted over with hard water deposits. There was also trash on the floors when we got there, the duvets were thin, and they short-sheeted the beds. Staff was unfriendly, and the "coffee bar" is just a big carafe with a bin of creamers next to it. I could have had a cleaner room for the same service at $150 cheaper, still on the river, in East Boise. 100% not worth the hype. Skip this one 🙄

Went for the Sapphire Room band and brunch buffet. Very disappointed. Costly for what you get. Golden coral is better and had more of a choice for about the same price. Don't get the expensive, non-bottomless mimosas at $10 a small glass. You can get them cheaper and bottomless elsewhere!!! I've heard rave reviews about this hotel but... Embassy Suites does a better job with the accommodations and breakfast. The Sapphire room is ok, but be sure to love the artist you are going to see.

What a beautiful property. I wish we had more time to enjoy here. Very large property with lots of activities. Yoga in the morning. Along the river. Beautiful river walk with interpretive signs. Right next door to a winery. Room was a little dated. Had a huge TV. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely be back. Definitely recommend.

We love the Riverside! We’ve been coming here regularly for the last six years. The atmosphere is unmatched. Live music in three separate areas of the property, two pools, great food, and it includes a breakfast like no other. The candied bacon is phenomenal and the made to order omelette station is sure to wow. Ask for a first floor pool view or river view room. You won’t be sorry. The rooms are great; very spacious. The staff are very accommodating. If you don’t see something you need, just ask.

I had such a pleasant stay here that I would have a hard time rating it anything less than 5 stars. Staff was awesome, room was very comfortable, dinner was above average and affordable, I got up early and had the gym, pool, hot tub and sauna all to myself, and the breakfast buffet was better food than 90% of breakfast restaurants! Also, I am a big supporter of any establishment that offers military and veteran discounts. I do wish more would offer, LEO and first responders discounts! Only complaint is the same complaint that I have for every hotel that I have ever stayed at with a gym, get some kettle bells!

The good, they let me check in early. The lady that checked me in was awesome. The bad, If you don’t look like you swim in money you get treated differently. I paid for 2 nights romance package and upon checkin they asked what time I wanted the items delivered. I had to chase it down almost 30 mins past the time it was supposed to come. The next night it was an hour past time before I went down to the front desk to complain. The bar/grill in the middle of the lobby has amazing food, but server treated us like we didn’t belong and we were bothering her by wanting to eat there. With the romance package I received $100 in gift cards to their restaurants. First day we went to the little place on the water. Lady brought our drinks out and they had ants In them. Not upset, it’s an outside restaurant, I get it. So they bring us fresh water. We both order a drink and mine comes out with multiple ants on top blended in. At this point, still not upset as it’s an outside venue. 35 minutes later I’m still waiting for my drink to come back out. We are already done with our food and at this point I don’t even want the drink anymore. Manager came over and said bartender got caught up with pool rush. Ok, but I’m eating there and my drink already had bugs in it so you would think remaking my drink would be a priority. No apology, just excuses. They ended up comping my bfs drink and she ended up having them make me another one immediately. Overall it is a beautiful place but did not like how we were treated.

Excellent location and facility, EXCEPT there is really nowhere to walk and exercise your dogs for being pet friendly. There is a thin swath of grass surrounding part of the complex, but is poorly maintained and loaded with dog feces that unfortunately is left by irresponsible pet owners. The breakfast buffet was mediocre compared to many other hotels we have visited and you are greeted by unfriendly staff that hand you your silverware when checking in. You have to order your beverages instead of being able to obtain it while getting your food. Although they have waiters handle this task they were unfriendly and often forgot to bring our drinks and or forgot to bring them altogether. This process is very flawed and goofy at best. During our stay of 6 days on two occasions while eating breakfast at the buffet we were given a receipt stating total due and asked to sign it with our room number. Verbally we were told they just have to do it for their records, BUT nowhere on the receipt does it say this. It provides the appearance our breakfast was NOT part of our room when in fact it was. This behavior must be corrected. Lastly we were on the bottom floor probably due to our dogs? Unfortunately, the folks above us walked back and forth for hours late evening when we were trying to wind down with loud thumbing as they walked. I don't know if this was the result of poor insulating factors between floors or perhaps nothing to do with this facility and simply and inconsiderate guests. Either way it kept us awake several nights. We even called the front desk but it continued. Overall a decent place, but far from perfect for the money.

It was for a 50 year reunion on a Friday between 4-6pm. Had an outdoor patio, thank goodness because the inside area on the north side was extremely hot! Had drink service. The water tasted like it was straight out of the river and I had to leave because it upset my stomach. Ate no snack foods and hadn't eaten during the day,so it was the water. Fun reunion besides that!

This gem came up as a pet friendly property and, indeed, homemade dog biscuits greeted us in addition to a cookie. Right on the beautiful Boise Greenway/River. The room was impeccably clean and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Super friendly staff! Thank you for a great stay. Highly recommend and I'll be back if ever I'm back in Boise!

Really nice hotel. As I have stayed at a number of best westerns, this was my first time at a best western premiere. I stayed in a standard two beds (two queens). The pluses of the hotel: the rooms were more spacious than a regular best western or best western plus. There was a really nice chaise lounge in the room, it had a wide/long desk, TVs were large and good quality, largest tub of any best western I've stayed in, large bathroom. The room was a "parking lot" facing roo. but was away from the highway and quiet. Some outside noise, but at night, it was silent. The breakfast was well stocked, good options and they gave us to go boxes as we were not sitting down for breakfast, so we could pack up and go. Very friendly and efficient staff. The cons and why it lost 1 star: we had originally booked the 3 room suite (2 bedrooms each with a king), but were called the morning of and told as we were bringing a dog (it is a dog friendly hotel), we couldn't have that room and they would have to downgrade us to the room we received. That was the most major disappointment as I wanted the experience of the really nice premiere room you can only get at this type of best western. I think if you advertise yourself as dog friendly, then all types of rooms you offer should be available for those bringing dogs (I'm not saying every room, but every type of room you offer, at least one). The room we received was really close to the outside which admittedly was nice for our dog to get relief, however the pitfall of that location was that it was (what felt like) miles from the lobby. We ended up driving up to the lobby for breakfast as a member of my group has pulmonary issues that affect long term stamina. The fridge in the room was buzzing SO loud, we turned it off. Very annoying, but easy solution, however then we didn't have a fridge in use. The water pressure in the shower was only okay, VERY loud when turning on. The toilet paper was too far away from the toilet. When you needed to dispense it, it would leave a long trail and then brush on the floor. The outside-the-bathroom vanity was a waste of space and should have been made into and outside sink. Always nice when the sink is separated especially when 2 or more are using the room. And not that it's the hotels fault, but getting hit with 3 different types of taxes for the room charge sucks! I would stay here again if I was attending a conference and it was paid for by my company or someone else footing the bill. Otherwise, the larger price tag isn't worth my own money for limited upgrades compared to cheaper and other nearby best westerns

  • 4/5 Jeremy D. 7 months ago on Google
Great location, staff is amazing, and the choice of restaurants and bars is amazing. However, the claim to be "pet friendly" isn't exactly true. All it means is that you can bring your pet. You can't take it anywhere with you and can't leave it in your room so, there's really no point. I understand that irresponsible people ruin it for everyone but the "can't leave it in your room" and "can only take it to one restaurant" should have been divulged before we got there. We would jave chosen a more truly pet friendly place not just a place that claims to be.

I can not say enough good things about this hotel! All the food we had was delicious, the breakfast buffet was available every day, there’s live music indoors and outdoors in the summertime, and the pool is great for adults and kids! The staff is so friendly and they allow dogs as well!

The hotel looks good. I have been there for multiple years and every year it has been under construction. The bedroom looks nice but the bathroom looks like it got over looked the 1970 oval tin l tub is nasty and the shower needs replacing. The bathroom door needs replaced it was chipping away. The grout around the tub way peeling away and looked like black mold was there. The conference center dinner was nasty. The salmon was so dry that it exploded when trying it eat it. The meat was cheap and dry with only 3 pieces of flank steak it was not worth it. Even the rice was under cooked

Our 'Home away from home'. We go to Boise, Idaho often and Riverside is the only place we stay. All the staff there is friendly and they seem to be happy. (That tells me it's a good place to work) There really is never a problem at Riverside but, any issue that arises is promptly and correctly made right. A comfortable place with good restaurants and entertainment. it's right on the Boise River, a gorgeous place!

Had a 15 person group for Thanksgiving dinner. Food was good. Atmosphere was good. Dessert could have been better but I'm sure good strawberry rhubarb pie is hard to keep on tap. Wait staff did an good job taking care of us.

Very clean hotel with a great grill. Lots of architectural detailing and art for sale hanging in the lobby walls. Musicians played during dinner and even for breakfast. I saw 2 pools and heard about the Sandbar bar on the outside located next to the river. Easy check in and check out. Wish I'd had more time to spend.

I thought this hotel was amazing. We stayed here on our way back home from a week long road trip and it was the perfect place to stay. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The pool was a perfect place to hang out with the kids and get drinks. I read mediocre reviews about the food and have to say that they are wrong or maybe they had a bad experience because both our food and the drinks were really good and reasonably priced for what you were getting. We could hang out by the pool and hot tub waiting for our food to arrive. Some parts of the facility are a little outdated but the cost to stay here is more than reasonable for what you receive. Also, the next morning buffet breakfast was so very good. We will definitely be staying here every time we come to Boise.

The Riverside Hotel is an amazing property with great amenities. The outdoor pool and hot tub are one of a kind. Nice & hot & enjoyable on cold Idaho nights. The exercise room is a good size. The laundry room was immaculate with two washers & dryers. The breakfast area was several steps up from other hotels. 3 bars on-site, was nice too. The rooms are spacious, comfy beds, large tubs, sink inside & out of the bathroom. Large TVs on the wall with beautiful local art. Each room has a walk-out or balcony facing the pool area. The entire staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I will book here again.

Riverside is a beautiful hotel! Our room was clean, well stocked, and very nicely decorated. The heated pool and hot tub where phenomenal! So relaxing to sit in the steamy hot tub under the Christmas lights in the cold, crisp air. The included breakfast buffet was delicious as well. They even have an omelet bar. It was such a nice date night for my husband and I.

Met two friends for a Christmas get together stay-cation. We had a good dinner and the room was nice. But the highlight was swimming in the heated outdoor pool after dinner. The steam was rising off the water, and it started raining and snowing. It was perfectly magical! I highly recommend this place!

Love this place. Great location and food. We got the romance package. We asked to be delivered by 5pm. Didnt get it until 630pm. We asked for champagne and got apple cider instead. So that part was a bummer. Other than that the experience was great!

This is the most amazing place to stay. It’s like staying at a resort without the crazy resort prices! The breakfast buffet is amazing! Fresh and gourmet food! We end up not needing lunch when we stay here which cuts down on expenses. You can literally arrive and not leave your entire stay! The restaurants are excellent! Music is great! Atmospheric is relaxing and beautifully. Both pools and hot tubs are clean and awesome! We love staying here!

Have stayed three times and all three times have been for about 4 days a trip . They are right there in the morning to make your room up . The pool is awesome and the grounds are top notch. Love the big checker board or chess board out side to play with . The river walk is right there and you can rent scooter and bikes along there for a nice river ride. Definitely a place to go if your staying in Boise with the kiddos for a few nights with everything right there in driving distance. I'm totally bummed that Joe's crab shack is closed as it's right across the bridge from them but that's what happens when covid killed everything .

Good enough with mixed feelings. Pricing was a little high with what we ended up receiving with the room but everything else was decent I guess. Beds were decent and had enough pillows. Room ceiling tile near the bathroom had water stains from what looks like a previous pipe leak. Of the number of shower handles/controls, 2 fell off when my 10yo went to use it and made the repair myself. Ceiling had mold forming in the shower (most likely due to lack of fans). Cleaning crew opened the door 3x within an hour before we even checked out. Numbering of the rooms are mildly confusing (I wasn’t the only guessed who noticed) , some of the maps in the hallways and the “you are here” are not accurate with actual placement and location. Pool was nice for the kids. Mixed feelings overall.

I would book here again if I go back to Boise! The service from the staff was on par, they offered shuttles to and from the airport and to our events at Boise State University (my sister and I had graduation ceremonies) making it easy on us, a hot breakfast with an omelette station, an outdoor heated pool next to a bar and restaurant that included service in the pool area, and comfortable rooms. We rented bikes from the hotel and rode on the Greenbelt trail that followed the river. It was beautiful with the spring flowers in bloom. The hotel is next to a winery, a brewery, and an awesome steakhouse, The Stagecoach Inn making it easy to enjoy getting out of the room without needed a shuttle or taxi. The Riverside restaurant was great too! Pleasantly surprised that it was not super expensive but very good food. Friends, it is not the newest hotel, but it is well maintained and the staff are friendly. Stay here for a great hotel experience.

Such a nice hotel. A little expensive but really for everything it offers its worth it. Rooms are nice and clean. The bars and restaurants are nice with a Hot buffet style breakfast, the life size chess and checkers just add to the entirety of the hotel. Staff was friendly. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying here again.

We arrived in Bosie as a Spur of the moment trip for my husband's birthday. We have never been. Stopped in at The Riverside Hotel and was able to get right in. We stayed for 3 nights. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Loved the Greenbelt trail right out the door. Thank you Riverside for the wonderful memory in our history book.

I have stayed at this hotel several times since 1980. Sorry to say but this was not as good as it had been over the last several years. The hotel rooms were outdated and was very disappointed with the television. Our television set went on the fritz and the matenince guys were unhelpful. The TV finally came back on but only with a few channels! I can’t believe even when working not that many channels to choose from. We paid money for this room and the “amenities “ you advertised is not what I got. We were in room 335 and went to get ice but no ice in the ice machine! I have bad feet so there was no way I could make it upstairs. As far as the rooms they are very outdated. The staff were excellent and the food was mediocre. My friends and I used to come to the Sandbar and it was not that excellent as it used to be. While staying here We went down there for a late afternoon lunch and arrived there 15 minutes early and we were informed we couldn’t sit in the area until 4:00. There was not one person there. We just wanted to sit until it was ready for business in 15 minutes! Instead of new construction why not update the rooms you already have. And getting televisions working properly otherwise take money off the rooms when the amenities aren’t available. The beds were very comfortable and the music was excellent. My husband and I were planning to come and stay for our Anniversary in October but I think we’ll go somewhere else after this stay. Cheryl

The room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. The price was quite reasonable compared to other hotels in downtown Boise. We especially liked the complementary breakfast, which was a full buffet complete with omelet station. I recommend making reservations directly with the hotel rather than booking sites for best prices. (Priceline added over $100 to our bill for 'free internet' and assorted booking charges.)

The staff was incredibly sweet (none of what I have to say is their fault), and the location is fantastic if you’re looking for something that’s a few minutes away from downtown but still quiet. However, this was arguably one of the most disgusting hotel room experiences I have ever had. The only reason why I’m giving Riverside a 2 is because of the friendly staff. We stayed in room 110 - the room was musty and smelled like cigarette smoke. The bathtub had an inch of standing cloudy water in it with the drain open when we checked into the room. There was a blood stain on the shower curtain, and black mold flecks coming from the tub faucet when it dripped. After getting settled into our room, I noticed the tub had finally drained. We paid for the romance package for all three nights of our stay (Champaign and chocolate covered strawberries) but only received it the first night. The following day the bath tub filled itself with more standing water (about 3 inches) from out of the drain, and the water was even murkier and smelled. When it drained again, there was dirt and shaved hair all through the tub as well as unidentified brown funk. This continued to happen several more times throughout our stay. I only took a picture from the first night because I was too grossed out to take additional photos with all the hair and gunk. The free breakfast that is included with the stay is buffet style and is decent, however, the hotel is astonishingly crowded and it is very difficult to actually get seated with an opportunity to eat. Because of this, we were only able to eat the free breakfast once. We decided to get room service for breakfast since we couldn’t find seating and it was heavily overpriced for the same options we could have gotten for free. If you’re a light sleeper - don’t stay here. You will hear every footstep and bump from the hallway and the rooms above you. Their priorities for renovation have clearly been common spaces since this is a spot that is often used for events. So if you’re a business looking for a daytime event spot, it’s great. But I would never recommend this as a place to rest your head at night, it was definitely not worth the price. I really had high hopes for this place because of all the wonderful reviews, this had marked the tail end of our honeymoon. This experience was beyond gross, and I really hope Best Western provides the resources and funding to renovate the rooms and pay the staff more. You don’t need anymore fancy lighting in the lobby, you need better plumbing.

Great remodel! We have a suite and it’s way bigger and nicer than I had thought. We visited the new indoor pool and the kids are loving the new whirlpool! The other pool is outdoors. It’s heated and near the river with access to drinks and food on site. Great experience!
