This is the place for the best Cepelinai ever! The meat to potato ratio is spot on, the sauce is so amazing, and the taste is PERFECT! I ate it every day for 4 days in a row while in town. Come here for this. It won't let you down!

This place is one of the oldest place to eat in Gargždai. I remember this place from my childhood when we use to come here with parents. They still serve freshly made food, mostly traditional Lithuanian dishes. Nice experience and memories from past.

Without doubt the best food in the area. By now all the locals are probably going bananas,... but wait,..., hear me out.... What they do is that they serve "old school" genuine(!) eastern European food. The kind of food you need to do heavy body work for 12 hours. ;D Good home made dishes for absurdly low price. There are lot to choose from an l think the menu changes during the day. The wonderful nice ladies are dressed in old school uniforms and are helpful although they do not speak a single word English. The place is in the same style. But hey let's be honest here; you don't go here for the view or fine dining. You go here to get a great meal for no money. All right, what about the locals? Well as a stupid westerner this is a (unfortunately) disappearing unique experience. Sure there are some more "modern" restaurants around. But you will find that everywhere. This food is especially nothing you find back home. I mean no pizza or sushi. ;)

Post-soviet relict - avarage home foods canteen. Interesting, cheap, well fed. Friendly local place for lunch. Worth a try for the experience.
