What a Mountain! It's a bit longer trail to get to the summit, but very much worth it. I think 4-hours is a reasonable assessment. If possible, this makes a magical sunrise or sunset hike, but that requires some significant hiking in the dark. Ultimately, I'll do this again and see if I can bag the other 3 peaks while I'm up there.

Incredible view from the very top of the krammerspitz. The west side is a bit complicated, especially if you got fear of heights. The east side is far more easy, so I recommande it. Top at 1985 m, starting from Garmisch Partenkirschen arround 700m. The trail take a whole day to be completed.

Intense hike and one of the less-visited places (as there's no gondel). Make sure to pack plenty of water and some snacks (as much of the hike is in the sun). Packing a light change of clothes and waterproof layer might not be bad depending on weather. It can take anywhere from 4-8 hours to hike up and down (depending on your experience and fitness). Unmatched views.

Wow. What a place. My colleague and I hiked through here in 2009 on a backpacking trip and Ill never forget it. We were cold, hungry, and quite honestly unprepared. There was nothing more that Brought us joy than stumbling on this gem in the mountains. We had great food, service, and lodging! I would go back in a heart beat.
